I just finished this game today for the first time and goodness gracious I LOVED IT! Once I got to chapter 9 of the game my playthrough literally became the embodiment of the "I don't need sleep, I need answers" meme.
The only crime this game has is letting this song end when you finish the battle. I wish it ended in the DUNNA DUNNA DA DUN DUN as a results or something xd
The horns around 1:45 add to the sense of triumph; less "proving yourself against difficult odds" like the original vibe, and more like a new "demonstrating yourself as a force to be reckoned with."
It’s hard to mess up the song unless you stop it from playing all the way. Sucks they didn’t give the option to have it run through vision rather than playing the vision react song over it.
You totally should! I just finished my first playthrough today and omg this is my favorite game on switch now lmao, my jaw dropped so many times throughout the storyline!
@Luke, I just might. I was in the same position with Breath of the Wild. I’d never played a Zelda game before, people suggested it, and I was pleasantly surprised.
I just beat Mining Patrichev in the ruins and hearing the remastered guitar come in almost brought a tear to my eye. Awesome game and soundtrack and i’m really looking forward to playing it.
honestly in the original, I liked this song but not as much as others and didn't really get why there was so much praise. After listening to this, I understand now
Heres a trick: Instead of shattering the vision bar, try to avoid party member deaths by triggering a chain attack the moment the enemy executes its attack. Your partymember will survive at 1 HP and this will keep playing. That aside, check the original, it has much more of a bite and drive to it.
Overall, I like the original a bit better, BUT 1:22 gives me fucking goosebumps in this version Edit: figured it out, it’s cause there’s new harmony there
I have to call bullshit here, unless you down leveled and had endgame gems and equipment, his agility is far too high to even hit. He’s also daytime only, meaning night vision gems are useless to you. There’s no possible way without ungodly luck to even get a break on him at that level or even level 60. Edit: been trying to fight him with the same party member setup at level 64, learned it was rain, not daytime, so I was able to use night vision gems. While it is possible to hit him there’s no way to build party gauge without getting really lucky with burst affinity procs because your main sources of party gauge build are Shulk’s chance arts and a Dunban Heat Haze setup, and you can’t use heat haze because without serene heart you’ll barely be able to hit him at all. I’ll attempt a few times playing as Shulk and not Dunban but considering that’s double what you said your level was I’m still calling bullshit.
This makes everything better. Except probably homework, probably shouldn’t be doing homework to this, I can’t imagine concentrating and information retention is easy while this is playing.

This was EXACTLY what I said when I first heard this song in the game! 😂
The increased prominence of strings at the beginning is a neat touch. Makes the guitar coming into focus later on feel much more grand.
The original one is more gritty but this version is more upbeat. I like both.
right? I think both arrangements are neat in their own way
