Hayreddin isn't scary when you get Ghost Walker and can be beaten as soon as you get Overdrive. In XC2 on the other hand, Rotbart will one shot you for walking a little too far north of Torigoth
I love how other games would of just had that sort of enemy just like.. spawn later in story when you can actually fight it but not Xenoblade :P they just be like "yo fam wanna be fucked for walking around?"
