    Man, thank you so much for reacting to my suggestion. I'm glad you enjoyed it. You should check out Stand Back by Stevie Nicks. She had Prince play the synthesizers on that one and it was a dance hit in 1983. Such a classic that Fleetwood Mac added Stand Back to their own setlist starting in 1987.

    • @HappyBoyOtis
      @HappyBoyOtis 4 роки тому +2

      Yeah Prince definitely did her a solid on that one!! For one that he was cool with her pretty much copying little red corvette and for two helping her out on top of it! What a class act.

    • @ConqueringWeightLoss
      @ConqueringWeightLoss 4 роки тому +1

      @@HappyBoyOtis Stand Back just borrowed the framework and structure of Little Red Corvette, but it really is it's own thing. You can definitely hear Prince's trademark sound on it. However you'd really have to play both songs at the same time to see where the similarities are. Prince had said in an interview on Larry King that Fleetwood Mac was one of his musical influences, to which he had many, but he had been a fan of theirs for a long time.

    7:30 The "violin-ish" sound is Lindsey on a guitar, playing through a distortion pedal. He overdubbed that with another guitar to get the twangy sound. The chimey piano is Christie on the keyboard.
    Remember, Lindsey likes to experiment with sounds. That's what you're hearing.

    The instrument you heard is a synthesizer; played by the amazing Christine McVie. That synth sound was huge in the 80’s. But Fleetwood Mac and Christine really utilized it perfectly and never overdid it. This song still gives me chills every time I hear it. Was awesome watching you enjoy it.
    SONG REQUEST FLEETWOOD MAC-Tango In The Night-
    It’s more of a hidden gem. But it’s INCREDIBLE. Like almost all their songs. But this wasn’t one of their huge hits or a single. Yet it’s really amazing.

    Whatever that instrument is it feels like it tickles inside the brain. Another one is "Blue Letter". I think it is from Rumors as well.

    The instrument you're wondering about is Christine on the keyboard and it has a kind of harpsichord sound to it. It is a cool sound.

    Songbird -- You gotta do it! And since you love Stevie so much, do listen to my favorite Fleetwood Mac song of hers, Silver Springs -- the live version from "The Dance."

    Prediction before you start. You will love this move completely. Again Christine Mc Vie playing the synthesizer and putting her special touch one the song. Please remember that she is the other female singer in the group. She too has great talent. Please give a listen to Hold Me and watch the video it's very artistic. I know you will like it.

    Time is a great leveller, and - production aside - you could argue the Mac were doing this ten year earlier. But this is the big commercial high-point in the 1980s and belongs on one of the classic albums of the decade.

    You should react to silver springs live. Her emotions and vocals are just mesmerizing and almost shocking. BUT I’m still insisting that you should react to Rhiannon live midnight special 1976! Amazing vocals, GUITAR SOLO, the bass 🔥 no no man, PPPPLLEAAAAASSSEEeeeee 🌚

    That sound is a guitar layered over with a keyboard, something FM specializes in. Lindsey Buckingham, when he joined FM, really struck up a special musical relationship with Christine McVie. One played guitars and the other played keyboards. There are sounds in many of their songs that are almost unidentifiable-and many people think they are from synthesizers-but they are not.

    There is an organ, piano, & key board in their band. The sound that were asking about is one those 3. I thinks it is the key board. There is also 3 guitars. The lead, rhythm, & a darbo, which is a very small guitar.
