@@sirtsupirtsu For what it's worth they absolutely deserved to win. It's an insanely technically demanding performance and a great blend of many genres pulled off impeccably. The trophy shattering is more symbolic of how the EBU mismanaged the whole competition this year.

I can feel the raging anger inside from elders in my family that always watch this show, once they realise a guy in pink skirt win.
As a regular man, I totaly love this song and performace - going agains all of the accepted laws.
As a 21 y.o. woman, you're more open minded than me. I struggled a lot to take them seriously, especially in the orchestra version but honestly that's very terrible of me. In the end I just focused on his talent, which they have but honestly I still feel uncomfortable in front of guys who sound and look like guys but dressed like a girl would but then again I am fine with the opposite. I recognise my close mind. They are a talented person and that's what matters. If calling them they, instead of him, helps them, I'm glad to work on my discriminatory limits (but I still find it hard to understand)

I don't usually watch Eurovision and don't have any strong opinions in the matter but I think this was such a sick song. Maybe not as cool of a performance as the others, no glitz and just one person but they have such a cool voice! I would listen to most songs from this year happily, so much hype

@@davidkaminski6507 we NEED the juries, without the juries, the kids favourite wouldve won, we all know kids beg their parents to vote on their favourites, that is why käärija got so many votes from the public for example. Many adults dont feel the need of voting because they will accept all winners and be respectful, remember, we are watching this because of entertainment. Juries are real professionals and will vote on the best song, I could just write a funny song with an awful melody, and make everyone sing along, and with others logic in this comment section, that would get me a win. Without juries, this contest would be a mess.

Everytime I listen to this, I get more insight into its creation. The passing of time will prove that this was an inspired creation, sung by an inspired singer (and rapper). Okay... he wears a dress, but that shouldn't distract from the brilliance of this entry. I still preferred France, but Switzerland was my joint second with Croatia. And It gets better with each subsequent listening.

A really impressive encore despite no staging which showed their charisma and how they can engage with a crowd. Flawless vocals.
Flawless vocals? Did you actually listen? What about all the weak can't-get-enough-power moments, and the whistling gasps between phrases as a result of poor breath control and overall bad technique. There are kids at my local school who can do better than that.

Switzerland was the first host and winner of eurovision when it started in 1956. Maybe it wouldn't hurt if eurovision will get a little makeover (I'm talking about new rules like more than 6 people on stage, or giving less spotlight to betting odds) when eurovision will be back in switzerland for 2025.

The jury's go for well crafted performances or vocally impressive songs. Nemo slayed in both departments, his song is vocally extremely challenging and he basically sung it like it's nothing. He still got 5th in the public vote - which is still a lot with his 200 something points. So the public liked it as well.

I prefer Croatia, Ukraine, Portugal, Armenia by a long shot but I see why this won. Nemo showed a brilliant performance. Not to mention difficult

I am a singer and a songwriter myself and I can tell you, this was on a different level. Armenia was also extremely good and got a bit overlooked and Norway got robbed imho, but this won for a very good reason. The Swiss guy from the Måneskin year couldn't sing half as good, his pitch was off, and no one questioned the Jury back then.
