I don't think it's a "Toy Gun" like you think. it's more a Gun made to shoot toys at people at terminal velocities. I can see how that can kill someone...
the "terminal" in "terminal velocity" means "final", not "dangerous" or "lethal": terminal velocity is the velocity attained when an object ceases acceleration, i.e. when the drag force equals the weight (since an object falling "from rest" through a medium such as air will accelerate due to the gravitational attraction of its mass and the greater mass of the earth; the velocity increases but the acceleration gradually decreases as the drag force increases-drag is generally proportional to velocity)
@@soupalexYou did mention it but for clarity I'd like to reiterate that terminal velocities only apply to objects in free fall. The objects don't necessarily have to be falling through air, but the term does only apply to gravitational acceleration. A bullet fired from a gun would reach a maximum velocity as soon as it leaves the muzzle. If you fired it directly upwards, eventually it will fall back to earth during which time it might reach terminal velocity if it's given enough time in freefall. For most firearms terminal velocity is much less than muzzle velocity.

Man I haven't played a random AGS game on a whim in years. This really is nostalgic for me. Do you think you'll plan to have any more AGS games on the game dungeon?
I remember an _extremely_ cheap FPS from years ago where you could make your own maps in MS Paint. I firgit the name, and I think it was also Christmas themed, but I like the idea alot. I think a higher-quality game could go for the same ease of use and utility if you have a nice set of instructions. And, y'know, gameplay.
By around 3:19, the artstyle reminds me of an 8-bit version of Magnus Carlsson's work: he made a Swedish TV show whose english dub I watched as a 3 to 4 year old called Lisa, where the titular character (who looks like a rejected design for Tommy Pickles) narrates everyday situations she gets into, from going shopping, to fat women getting stuck in her apartment's lift to wondering what happened to her dad when he's late home from work. The art design is like Beavis & Butthead meets Salad Fingers. ua-cam.com/video/RBGJBfPrX6s/v-deo.html&ab_channel=sophiamoreno lostmediaarchive.fandom.com/wiki/Lisa_(Late_90%27s_English_Dub) It has a really catchy main theme too.
It's probably too new and too normie of a game for the Dungeon, but Batman Arkham Origins has 10/10 Christmas vibes. The whiteout snowy atmosphere and Christmas decorations in Gotham and the subtle Carrol of the Bells feel of the score combine to really pull off something special.
I REALLY love the art style, you crazy. It reminds me of flash games or children’s drawings, but there’s enough off with it that it just comes off as unsettling and nostalgic. Santas shaded lil snout and all the goblins are just so disgusting looking but everything is so so simple and chill.

It's an old french cartoon called "Les Mondes Engloutis".
It's english name is "Spartakus and the Sun Beneath the Sea" according to Wikipedia.
I thought you were going to talk about the Jazz Jackrabbit christmas levels.
I've actually been thinking about compiling a list of games set on or around Christmas. So far I have:
Bayonetta 2
Parasite Eve
Yakuza 1, 2 and 5
Batman Arkham Origins
Farhenheit, Psychotoxic
Dead Rising 4, not a good story but defintally has the Christmas Spirit
Yakuza 0 also takes place in december an has a few cristmas decorations in the background in a couple places
Haven't played it myself yet, but I've heard that ESP Ra.De.
takes place around christmas and that there are christmas decorations in the scenery of the levels.

I refuse to accept Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy) has anything to do with anything.. let alone Christmas.
"this image of reindeer is going to haunt me forever" is a mood you can only get from Ross' videos.
"The war on christmas is real up in here..." whiskey through the nose is not delightful! 😂
So the question is...who kidnapped the boyfriend...was it really Santas brother? or was it Santa secretly giving the bf to his brother's minions so he could get help from the angry lady Aida? :D
that walk cycle has inspired me...
I could guess exactly what kind of game you had when you said you had a christmas game you could actually play through. Horror reindeer, goblen gore, creepy art design. Nope, no surprise whatsoever.
Oh no, Ross forgot to put the game in the title.
Edit: Ah, never mind.
I can’t say I expected an Army of Darkness reference. Like ever.
Merry Christmas
Ross in a nutshell. ;)
Man I haven't played a random AGS game on a whim in years. This really is nostalgic for me. Do you think you'll plan to have any more AGS games on the game dungeon?
Ross is American hero godlike hair shimmering like ocean of mahogany eyes are shining sapphires burning in the void like stars
Merry Christmas Ross, from my lobster sled to yours
The game pulled a reverse Carnevil (Halloween drifting into a Christmas story) on you when it introduced the motive for Stiltskin there.
Christmas came early!
i didnt know you can make games with "paint"
Not with that attitude.
@@3dpprofessor Lmao
Games with MSPaint graphics have been around for ages.
Undertale's graphics were made in ms-paint
I remember an _extremely_ cheap FPS from years ago where you could make your own maps in MS Paint. I firgit the name, and I think it was also Christmas themed, but I like the idea alot. I think a higher-quality game could go for the same ease of use and utility if you have a nice set of instructions. And, y'know, gameplay.
Mandalore and Ross uploaded the same day? Christmas is saved everybody!!
And civvie11!
Mandalore talks like he's on Ambien and only covers super mainstream titles. I don't see why he's so popular
@@TaRAAASHBAGS ... What are you on? Fuckin mystery of the druids and a bladerunner point and click from the 90s are mainstream?!
@@Stad122 Yes.
@@Stad122 Don't argue with people who complain about things for being "mainstream". It's really not worth it.
the crude art, excessive ms paint gore and constant malaise feels very fitting for this year's christmas...
20:05 reminds me of that one part from Luigi's Mansion.
The goblins dress just like my goblin mother-in-law, so the costume design holds up.
you cant miss with an ending like that, army of the dead's ending truly never fails
When ever Ross releases a Game Dungeon or Freeman's mind episode, it's Christmas for me.
The art design is like Beavis & Butthead meets Salad Fingers. ua-cam.com/video/RBGJBfPrX6s/v-deo.html&ab_channel=sophiamoreno

It has a really catchy main theme too.
That's no reindeer
Those are roideers
That alternate ending is really Metal
It's probably too new and too normie of a game for the Dungeon, but Batman Arkham Origins has 10/10 Christmas vibes. The whiteout snowy atmosphere and Christmas decorations in Gotham and the subtle Carrol of the Bells feel of the score combine to really pull off something special.
Wow these look like the sprites I used to design at 8 years old back when I thought I wanted to be a game designer... 28 years ago
I REALLY love the art style, you crazy. It reminds me of flash games or children’s drawings, but there’s enough off with it that it just comes off as unsettling and nostalgic. Santas shaded lil snout and all the goblins are just so disgusting looking but everything is so so simple and chill.
"If there is no slavery there is no Christmas" sounds about right
Ross, you posted this while I was suffering a major migraine and it made me forget about it. I appreciate that, best Christmas gift ever.
I can't imagine doing anything besides laying down in a completely dark and silent room while having a migrane
@@mickusa5338 I was, I have Ross on Bell Notifications.
BJ! We need you defending us with the MG42!
The elephant guy kinda look like Max Rebo from return of the Jedi.
Reminds me somewhat of one of those old games Yahtzee made
Ross... What the hell did we just watch?
Christmas
I'd love to see a game dungeon on the Edna and Harvey games.
Ya know what would be great for Christmas Ross? A new Episode of Freeman ;p
MAKE IT HAPPEN! :D
Its literally the best Christmas gift i can wish for ;p
Oh yes, Gandalf the red my favourite Lotr character
Oh wow, I'd never seen that alternate AoD ending before, ha!
For a game completely created in "Paint", it looks pretty good and runs surprisingly smooth XDDDDD
looks like a game pilotredsun would make
Huh? I either somehow missed this episode, or forgot I even saw it. Either way, it's new to me dammit :)
Yay, a Christmas episode. It's a Christmas miracle!!
a half decent xmas game? that really caugth me off guard
Anybody else get the Notification of this just saying " *Ross's Game Dungeon* " and nothing else?

The T-800 Terminator models aren't "cyborgs", Ross; they're combat androids, with the infiltration-units wearing some genetically-engineered flesh over their robotic endoskeleton.
Your Geek-Card is officially revoked.
How do Game Dungeons always seem to hit when I need them most. Thanks Ross, can't wait as usual.
Is that Oldthony Mantano?
