Arthur got his TB from a farmer you collect a debt from during a Strauss mission, Mr. Downes. And no Micah didn’t get TB. Either way, he got killed by Dutch and John in the epilouge later on. I was just saying that it would have been more satisfying for me if he would’ve actually got TB from Arthur. And died that way.
I think he did. It takes some time to take effect. It might not have been much of the disease. It probabilities lies dormant. It probably started to affect him a few days before you kill him.
Yup horseshoe overlook was chill and then when they got to Beavers hollow, their numbers went down, Pinkertons on their asses, Dutch loosing his mind and siding with Micah, the harassments from the Mufree broods and all the fuckery surrounding the area, it was so depressing made me missed when they were in horseshoe.

The saddest part about Hosea's death is Dutch mentions that he doesn't really want to rob the Saint Denis bank. He's nervous and doesn't want anyone else to die. Hosea is actually the one who ultimately convinces him that it can be done. And that as long as they execute *the plan* properly, then everything will work out. Their execution was flawless, but Hosea and Lenny still die. This is Dutch's true breaking point. At this point, he can't trust anyones word but his own.

Lenny and Sean really surprised me the most. They just... happend out of nowhere and it really lays testimate to the superb writing of this game that there deaths are so grittily realistic and unsatisfying.
Sean was my favorite character I love the snarky funny guys who come off as douche but are actually kind and just want a simple life and spent an hour and a half processing his death by just riding around the world looking at landmarks and stuff, so unexpected
The minute Colm saw his escape plan foiled, with Arthur having taken out the sniper and with Sadie and Dutch holding his two men in the crowd hostage, that is where the scene gets interesting. I like how this confident and evil criminals suddenly gets scared as he knows he’s about to die and there’s no way out for him this time.

Anyone else felt emotional after Sean’s death. That wagon scene when you are riding back from the braithwathes, and he is talking about starting a new life, he just wanted to escape all this carnage. He just couldn’t be as lucky as John.

So many scenes I enjoy watching but this is just pure gold. Like you said it’s the sudden change of expected soon realizing how fucked he is and is finally facing death.

Also, as you may already know, the speech that Dutch makes when he and Arthur are surrounded by the army and have to jump off a cliff into the river mirrors the speech he makes when he jumps to his death in RDR1. "You can't fight change, you can't fight gravity"
During most of the character's deaths I wasn't sad or something, I was more angry than anything, It was like a friend dying, and somehow by my fault, I just wanted to shoot due to vengance. Arthur's one make me cry like a little boah...
Agent Ross and Milton are sad characters since they are the incarnation of this quote "whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster" from Nietzsche. They are so obsessed to capture outlaws that they became outlaws, taking a man's wife and sons then shoot him like a dog. Quite Ironic .
It's fairly ironic, in Ross's quest to capture and kill the gang he ends up being the catalyst that drives Jack to kill him in the end. In a bid to get rid of the outlaws all he did was create more.
There was a period of time where I was playing through the game as fast as I could after Hosea and Lenny died and Arthur was diagnosed with TB, because the game was depressing me that much. Everything from Guarma until the Epilogue is a blur for me...

My favorite characters and ones that shouldn’t have died 1. ARTHUR OF COURSE he was a good man and Strauss was why he died 2.Sean he was still young and killed too suddenly 3. Hosea he was a very respectable character and didn’t deserve to be an example 4. Lenny man he was so cool and I liked doing missions with him (Edit)5. Dutch he had a plan and also was determined but although he dies in rdr1 I liked how he never gave up but was kind of mad that he turned on Arthur because he was like a father to him
My favorite part is that throughout the game, the gang slowly starts to go from a family who love one another to a band of disoriented associates who can’t trust one another. It’s amazing story telling.
Arthur saying "I gave you all I had. I did" to Dutch, damn, it hit my soul real hard. I didn't noticed I was crying during this part. Dutch choosing that rat Micah over Arthur, the boy he raised and is with him for more than 20 yrs, it's a damn cold betrayal. This is absolutely a masterpiece.

Dutch saw his grip on John was loose after all these years so he decided John could find his own way with his own decisions when he needs to.

It's just that Dutch doesn't have as a tight a grip on John as he does on Arthur, partially because of Abigail & Jack and partially because John is generally portrayed as more intelligent than average for his time.

I've never shed a tear for any character in a game but for Mr. Morgan... Man... I cried..... That part where he thanked his dying horse... Ugh. Right in the heart.... And Marston, pleading with Dutch, his "father", then having Dutch walk away....Heart breaking....

As hard as Arthur’s death hit me (I love this character) I really was hurt over Hoseas death. Such a wise mind and a father figure to both Arthur and Dutch. Just shows you how great these characters are and how much they get you invested into what they’re doing

My favorite part is that throughout the game, the gang slowly starts to go from a family who love one another to a band of disoriented associates who can’t trust one another. It’s amazing story telling.
Arthur saying "I gave you all I had. I did" to Dutch, damn, it hit my soul real hard. I didn't noticed I was crying during this part. Dutch choosing that rat Micah over Arthur, the boy he raised and is with him for more than 20 yrs, it's a damn cold betrayal. This is absolutely a masterpiece.

Dutch saw his grip on John was loose after all these years so he decided John could find his own way with his own decisions when he needs to.
@@-sanju- Yes he did, John was like a son to him, so much so that at one point Arthur says to John (arguing over who is Dutch's favorite), "I was a prize pony too once, now I'm a work horse." It's just that Dutch doesn't have as a tight a grip on John as he does on Arthur, partially because of Abigail & Jack and partially because John is generally portrayed as more intelligent than average for his time.
