I originally had the original cream and now I have the soft cream. Thanks to this video I realize that I have been applying it wrong this entire time! I am grateful that a little goes a long way so I have not "wasted" much at all. People laughed at me for paying $100 for a face cream, what they don't realize is that a little truly goes a long way. And this stuff is magic. Now I can imagine knowing how to put it on correctly how much better it will be

I've been to a La mer meeting in france (i'm french), and the la mer seller said that for the soft cream, you don't need to rub it into your fingers
This is what brought me to this channel. I have some soft creme samples and I'm wondering if the application process is the same🤔 The Soft Creme seems a lot just regular lotion-- whereas the OG La Mer Creme is more of a thicker, almost balm. I know you must warm up the original-- but i wasn't sure about the Soft Creme... It seems like you could just apply it. I've been using the same process for the Creme...but now I think I'm going to save it for summer months...when it gets hot and perhaps the Original might be too heavy for.

My aunt works for La Mer and she is the manager of the counter in Harrods which is a department store in the UK and I have used the cream myself and It's amazing

Nice review! Jamie. I have been using Lamer for about almost 6 years by now. The original cream is my most favorite for the entire their skincare line. Every time I had tried some other skincare brands and ended up with breaking out. I came back to Lamer for healing my allergic reaction. And it works very well. Especially, the original moisturizing cream. So, I'm going to try the Artis Brush with Lamer moisturizing cream, Eyes cream, Lamer Fluid sunscreen and skin tint( I don't use make up) just that. And see how they perform.

Hi Jamie, thanks for this review. I am using the soft cream, since the climate in Greece is never really dry. I have yet to master using a small amount, as demonstrated by you, which was a great visual aid 😀. However, I was told I do not need to rub it until translucent, as the product is "ready to go" as is. Do you think rubbing it will give better absorption? Thanks
Hey Sofia!! Yes, La Mer always recommends rubbing their lotions between your fingers/hands to amplify it's absorption and awaken the miracle broth. Try it and see if you can feel a difference. :)
Hi Jamie, comparing the La mer concentrate and La Mer cream, which more has effect to the skin?

considering about the price I want to buy 1 product as trial.
The concentrate will help with any irritation and the moisturizing cream will help with moisturizing dry skin. Both will help but with different skin needs.

I feel like it doen't absorb on my skin fast and it's waaay too thick sl I mix it with cerave pm cream XD works better like that in my opinion. But srriously, I can't see any difference on my skin with this cream, just that it does a good job hidrating amd mosturising

carly nicholls I agree with your son and I think the soft lotion provides a beautiful glow to your skin. The original gives your skin a much wetter look.

Just purchased this and foundation to try! My skin has become so dry since an allergic reaction and I’ve tried over 30 creams, derm recommended and none have worked.

It’s hydrating and plumping but I wouldn’t say “reduces wrinkles”
Do u feel like your redness has reduced any since using the cream?
I think some of my redness was due to lack of moisture, so yes, this helped with that part. They have other products that I feel work better for redness though (the concentrate and the treatment lotion). Outside of La Mer, I've started using the Origins Mega-Mushroom Relief and Resilience Serum and that has done wonders for my everyday redness.

nathaly martinez I'm using the regular cream day and night. I have oily skin and acne prone. This does not cause breakouts and my skin looks good.
nathaly martinez also the lip balm and lip glow is worth it. Transformed my old dry lips to youthfulness and supple. I use balm at night and lip glow during day.
This cream is amazing......a little goes a long way...im buying the small 85 dollar jars. I only use the soft cream. This cream soothes and heals my skin from anything.

you are RIGHT!! even the sample jars last a long time!! I got 2 small sample jars that lasted me from the first of October to a week before Christmas. And I still had some in the jars. You really do not need a lot. I bought a Holiday Set where I got the 2 oz jar and a small bottle of Concentrate-- and I STILL haven't opened either one because I STILL have my samples I'm using. A tiny bit goes a long way!!!!
Nice review. I luv La Mer range 👍🏼 The Creme de la mer really plumps up the skin. The large volume also seems like it last me a lifetime. My skin is quite sensitive and prone to acne, this cream didn't agitate it and give it a nice glow instead 😊

Hi Jamie, I’m looking for your advice as the ladies at my La Mer counter are veryup-themselves and no help and just try to sell anything to help themselves and not me and my needs. As for samples like I heard you say and everyone write that they get, they are non existent here in Adelaide (I honestly think they might keep them for themselves) I’m looking for something to help with my red cheeks, and to whiten and brighten my skin as it’s really pink and very different to my yellow neck tone. So please I’m begging for your honest help if you think there is something that might help me. I can’t afford to buy and try and hope it works so I need advice so I’m not wasting money that could go to my kids. I really hope you know of something that will help and that you reply.

bon Smth that eye cream is SO GOOD!!! I just tried it a few weeks ago 😍 I love it more than the Le Lift because it helps with puffiness too. The subtle gold shimmer it leaves under the eye is nice to camouflage any shadows 🙌🙌

thx for the fast feedback. Im a guy who used biotherm products in years and years. From cleansing to night cream. Its expensive but do-able=) I just got a new job and make more money and would like to change brand or just buy some products from example sensai and La mer. This creme de la mer, I heard a lot of good stuff about it the ingredients and all, the smallest jar cost alot! 30ml and the 500ml cost like a salery=) I would like to start with the 30ml and just test it, thats the only product I'm interested for in the brand La mer. to access the whole series cost a lot of money, its really too much. How long would the jar 30ml (smallest) last foe, i mean I should have it atlas 2 months cause it costs 3 times more than my ordinary daycream. Your first comment regarded creme de la mer? the first original one? cause thats the one I want even thou I have normal skin......
flash burt the small jar should last you 3-4 months so you’ll get enough use to decide if you want more. Yes, my comment on the fragrance was about the original creme de La Mer. ☺️🤗 enjoy!!

Hi Jamie, I've read a lot reviews about the La Mer cream and it appears that the ingredients are very cheap and basic yet The Estée Lauder's range have more science and technology invested into the formulas. Would you say that it's a nice cream but doesn't really do anything about long term anti aging ?
