Morning Skincare Routine - La Mer, Drunk Elephant, La Prairie, Mario Badescu

I'm walking through my a.m. skincare routine and I'm applying each step as we talk about it.
Here is a list of the products I use:
-La Mer Micellar Water
-Drunk Elephant C-Firma
-La Prairie Essence Eye Serum
-La Mer Hydrating Serum
-La Mer Concentrate
-Mario Badescu Eye Gel
-La Mer Cream Moisturizer
-La Mer Perfecting Treatment
After I'm done with all of these steps, I usually make some breakfast and let it all soak in before I apply the final step (The Perfecting Treatment) and then apply my makeup.

Thanks for the Concentrate review. You convinced me to buy it; I waited too long to start my skincare ritual. Layering has me all confused on the time the next layer should be applied. Does the Concentrate need to dry and absorb before putting on the moisturizer? Thanks.

Nice video! Started with La Mer. I have the Creme de La Mer and Treatment lotion and lip balm. I like the skin improvement after 3 weeks. Still thinking if I’ll get the other products.
Thank you for sharing your morning routine! Keep us posted on your search for the perfect Vitamin C. I have used Skinceuticals and am currently using Drunk Elephant Firma C. I am using the sample La Mer Perfecting Treatment before using the La Mer Soft Fluid Foundation and loving it! I can't decide between getting the new Hydrating Serum or the Concentrate.... lol. I want both but easing in!!! Keep doing this great videos! xoxo

I Love La Mer!! I use their products as well. Once you use their products you won't go back to your previous skin care products. It is very pricey though.
The LaMar cleansing oil is phenomenal !!

What do you think about putting some of the vitamin C on your décolleté?
Thank you for sharing your routine with all of us! Showing people how much to use of these products is helpful as well since many of us tend to use more of a product they don't need to do. The last product you used as your primer for the day, is that the one that reduces your pores too?
Hello :) The last product I used was the Perfecting Treatment by La Mer. It is an amazing product but it DOES NOT reduce your pores...sadly, nothing does. This product DOES reduce the appearance of your pores and looks amazing on the no make up days or as a primer. I hope this helps. :)

I bought La Mer the moisturizing soft creme & I have combo skin w/redness on cheeks.
I use DDF Wrinkle /Pore Reducer Serum
Then on hot/high humidity type days DDF ultra light oil free moisturizing dew instead of la Mer .
I wash using an electric brush & Julep Love your bare face cleansing stick detox wash -I CANNOT RAVE ENOUGH ABOUT THIS PRODUCT
I'll use Juleps What your skin needs facial milk

ROBERT EVANS I have used it and it’s probably my fav cleanser that La Mer makes.
does the concentrate really help with redness? do you find it peels your skin?
Thea Tiv yes, it really does help soothe redness and heal your skin after a derm appt or an abrasion. I’ve never noticed any peeling.
I got the La Mer cream last Winter because I have dry skin and people with dry skin really swear by this cream and it was amazing. One of the best ways to use it is putting on right after using hydrating mask! The hydration will lasts very long. I can't wait to watch ur Creme de La Mer review tho 🙌

Hannah Obsiye yes, I would recommend using it after you wash your mask off. If you want to apply La Mer under your mask, I'd recommend The Treatment by La Mer.

What retinol do you use?
Which Mario one ? The site doesn’t show the green inside - is it the glycolic or hydronic ?
Did the regeneration serum make your skin red? I tried a sample and after the third night it was red. Love La mer going to try the new serum. Love the new foundation also. Enjoy your videos.
MJ Alley 😦😮I'm so sorry to hear about your red skin. I didn't have that effect but I used it at night, every other day. With anything that helps turn over cells, I use it sparingly. Combining it with The Concentrate probably helped me as well. 😉. Thank you for watching and for your comments!

sikupyte s save as much as possible. It’s so worth it you won’t regret it. At least for me it’s been a literal miracle.
Edit: La Mer that is. Have not tried La Prarie as what I’ve got seems to be working. But I would like an eye cream that would help whiten under my eyes.

Hey Jamie! I was just wondering I have to choose between the La Mer Hydrating Serum or the La Mer "The Concentrate". I can't afford both so I want to pick one Serum to add into my skincare regimen. Which one would you recommend? I am already using the Original Creme de la Mer, which made me fall in LOVE with the brand. Thanks!
Andrew Robbins that original cream has created many cult followers, so you are in good company 😀🙋 in regards to your question, I think I'd have to ask you if your skin needs soothing or repair? If yes, then go with the concentrate. 👍 If you don't and are looking for an AMAZING dose of hydration, then the hydrating serum wins. 👍 Let me know which you choose! 💓💓🙌
Andrew Robbins hey girl, I’d go with The Concentrate... that stuff is soooo damn amazing and literally feels like rose petals and silk being rubbed on your skin!! The first time I used it I was hooked!! Which kinda stinks in a way cuz it’s so damn expensive!!
What’s the difference between micellar water and toner
Thank you for this what do you think of the regenerating serum. I am 50 this year and trying to decide between the concentrate or the regenerating serum. Interested on your opinion and thanks in advance!
Hi Ruby! :) I did try the Regenerating Serum back when I tried The Concentrate for my burns. They were a dynamic duo! In my opinion, I would compare the Regenerating Serum to a retinol or a hyaluronic acid as it helps increase cell turnover. Is that what you're looking for?
Concentrate is amazing 🤩 I was shocked at the size of the bottle but you need one or two dollops and that’s it. I don’t know I’m finding that I want the whole collection - i’m just praying maybe don’t invite me to Switzerland at the spa 🧖♀️☺️

Hello. Love love love your channel. What can I use with la mer products before and after the gym. Most importantly for break outs. My skin can get really oily. Please help me. I just got some gifts. La Met intensive revitalizing mask, moisturizing soft cream, the cleaning gel, and the concentrate. I wanna be consistent with this products and see if this work for me. But again thank you for your videos. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Hello lovely! I'm so glad you are enjoying my videos :) After the gym I personally use a micellar water and then a gentle acid toner to help clean out my pores. My current toners are Tarte Knockout, Honua Skin Care Beauty Water and Recherché Beaute Active Elixir Tonic.
I'm loving your channel!! Oh my gosh. I also noticed you aren't sleeping on Mario Badescu... I HIGHLY recommend the Mario Badescu cellufirm drops.. they are a MUST. HAVE. Eyes, forehead, smile lines. Neck and chin. So amazing.

Hi! I'm loving your channel and reviews. Can you advise if the La Prairie night recharge is a good retinol in your opinion? I almost purchased it before I read it contains oxygen which can cause more damage. Which retinol would a good one in your opinion? Thank you!

Retinol is such an amazing anti-aging product so I'm glad you're looking into adding it to your routine. Currently I'm using Skinmedica 0.5 and I just got Biopelle 0.75. It's important to find one that works hard but doesn't aggravate your skin. I'm not familiar with the one from La Prairie but I would recommend you ask about the strength of retinol, where it is on the ingredient list and it's delivery system. Also, get a sample 😉👍
Hi Jamie would you be so kind as to recommend anything from la mer for my sensitive skin. I have very reactive skin an often get broken on by products. The only thing I've bin currently using has bin the body shop hem face protector which I think just sits on top my skin. I'm afraid to use anything as of late. Don't even knw what to cleanse with. I've tried chanel Dior even first aid beauty nothing has worked. Even that chanel sensitive cream an milk cleanser did nothing but irritate an clogged my pored. Also contained mineral oil. An the drug store stuff also bothers me. Cetaphill cerev aveeno. Nada works. They dry out my skin. Clinique was a horror story
Hi Candace! So sorry to hear about all of your trial and error with products. Your poor skin!!! Have you been able to narrow down which ingredient(s) is/are irritating your skin? From what you're telling me, i would honestly recommend sitting at the La Mer counter and letting them give you samples to try before you make a purchase. Also, some of the companies you've tried are also part of the La Mer family of companies so it's hard for me to just say, "try xyz from La Mer".
If you do have a consult with La Mer and you don't react, then I'd be happy to give you my recommendation on what would work best for the results you want. xoxox

@@JamieQuinn You need to wash of the micellar water from your skin with water otherwise there is no point to use it.
M Mc this is only true of some micellar waters that leave an oily residue. La Mer is not one of them.
@@JamieQuinn The chemistry of micellar water is really the same regardless company or price tag ,and your feeling is really subjective. All micellar waters should be washed off your skin as they capture dirt into the chemical structures called micela and should be removed from the skin.

Instead of those cheap cotton pads please use Shiseido facial cotton - game changer!! And they are super inexpensive ♥️
I should’ve reworded what I suggested it’s not cheap cotton pads it just that they’re not as gentle on the skin as she Shiseido facial cotton. Try it and tell me what you think 💓

I decided that I was really looking for hydration so o went with the La Mer Hydrating Serum. Thanks so much for the advice! I live in NYC right near Bloomingdales so I picked up a bottle yesterday. I've only used it one day and I'm already in LOVE with it. My skin looks more hydrated and glowing. So thanks again for getting me so in love with La Mer! Love your videos :)

and have to say I like it better than Skinceuticals CE Ferulic and DE C Firma Serum. It is nice that it is an organic and clean brand. You might want to check it out. xoxo

Hi jamie , i got some skin care products from department store and the lady who works there was so nice when i asked if she has samples of la mer because i wanted to try it, she gave me so many and i just noticed that it does not need to apply alot just small swipe of cream and warming it is the right way, im having it on my face tonight will see result tomorrow when i wake up :) XOXO

OMG!! its almost full day and i felt my skin is more soft and velvet, and i love how my skin feels honestly i am having little acne problem in my face which im trying treatment but la mer creme seems not effecting it i love this, i want to keep using it at least a week to notice what happens.. thank you Jamie XOXO

Hi, I've heard that La Mer can clog your pores. Do you notice this too?
Any product can clog your skin, it's just up to how your skin reacts to a product.

I agree that any product could clog your pores and you need to be careful with even how much of a good thing you put on your face.👍 The only time I ran into trouble with La Mer was when I put their classic moisturizer on right out of the jar without rubbing it between my fingers first. 🙄my bad
Jamie Quinn thank you for your response! I have bought the foundation and illuminating eye gel yesterday. With my purchase i have received a lot of samples (the original Cream, new hydrating serum and the regenerating serum) so i'm going to try them, see how my skin reacts to it. Thanks to your videos i know that i really need a small amount and rub everything between my fingers before applying it on my face 😊. I'm really curious to see if i'll see immediate results!
