It blows my mind now that I'm going back to LE from D4 Season 4 that Blizzard saw this game in beta for a while and didn't copy basically any QoL stuff. LE went into the same direction as D4, the only thing separating them is more skill customization. Campaign still a placeholder unfinished project with a skip button. So called endgame monoliths are just rifts with a different name. The endgame grind is just as boring and pointless since there is no further content just reused assets with bigger numbers on them ,the goal to go as far as possible in difficulty just forces you to use the same one broken build per class copied from maxroll, feels like you're a testing bot for devs and not playing a game.
I got Last Epoch last month and some parts are great, but others feel unpolished or unfinished. The campaign was incredibly easy, though likely bc of Ward. They did nerf Ward, though. And DM’s gameplay went from blasting through to getting one-shotted. This is quite concerning, as I felt like the devs didn’t have a cohesive direction for the game, and adding/removing mechanics every 3 months is indicative of that. We’ll see how I feel when I get into the new patch though.
That's how I feel too. At the beginning the developers said they were trying to make the action role playing game to end all ARPGs, but I don't think they've succeeded in any way. In fact it seems the devs don't really know what they're doing. Hopefully it improves, but right now it's just a 6 out of 10 for me.
Looks pretty fun. Too bad the game is completely broken for me. If I play online I can't even zone into the first area. If I play offline my characters are not saved and just disappear if I log out. Also, invisible mobs attack me. Game is actually not even playable for me which is worse than launch. What a mess.
@@down-the-rabbit-hole I love people who think because they don't have a problem nobody else should have a problem. That's not how all bugs/issues work. It might be a small minority but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
LE is fine, but I feel there's just not enough reason to come back. Mob density is low, campaign is boring, certain classes/builds are bugged or imbalanced, and not much interesting to do in endgame. I like monoliths well enough, but even a good thing gets stale after a while, and adding ONE boss isn't much to write home about. I like that they added a dodge, but it should have been there from the start. God bless the devs for making an ARPG from scratch as their first game, but it's no competition for POE or D4.
Says LE isnt good -- Says its no competition for D4/Grim Dawn. Make it make sense. D4 is still just a hair over mediocre and has one of the largest gaming corps in the world backing it. Grim Dawn is almost a 10 year old game and isn't competition for anyone even with the new expac coming. It isn't going to have seasons or constant updates.
What a mess.
have zero problems so far. try to reinstall the game
That's a you problem bud the game is fine
It's got to be your computer or connection. I have a 8 year old computer and basic internet and I do just fine. I never have any issues.
No issues
@@down-the-rabbit-hole I love people who think because they don't have a problem nobody else should have a problem. That's not how all bugs/issues work. Even if the vast majority of players don't experience an issue that doesn't mean there isn't an issue. There are others experiencing the same issue and posting on the forums. It might be a small minority but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
My impressions. Do the same thing all over again(boring campaign).
Game is too easy. I quit after 10 hours of game play almost falling asleep
latest season for LE is trash, the devs made the game worse
Agreed!
It feels slower and even more clunky somehow to me!!!
LOL
Ok frostylaroo go back to making videos
Last Epoch is garbage. Torchlight Infinite may be predatory and wants your money but atleast its fun.
The momentum in Torchlight Infinite is incredible. Gives me the same power ramping vibes that PoE has. LE just doesn't have that feel
Based and true
Yeah if youre a casual mobile gamer Torchlight is pretty good.
@@sabihrashid252 torchlight on a shitty mobile with bad internet is a way better time by far
@sabihrashid252 Not all of us are lifelong goblins
too bad last epoch just isn't very good. in its current state it's no competition for D4 , PoE or even grim dawn.
This is a bait right?😂
Says LE isnt good -- Says its no competition for D4/Grim Dawn. Make it make sense. D4 is still just a hair over mediocre and has one of the largest gaming corps in the world backing it. Grim Dawn is almost a 10 year old game and isn't competition for anyone even with the new expac coming. It isn't going to have seasons or constant updates.
LE is clearly better a better game than D4 and its only going to get better from here.
@@thew1ngman Ok, but you're doing the exact same thing that you're blaming me for. you're not backing it up either. fact of the matter is , with s4, diablo 4 has had a crazy player retention and the overall rating of the game skyocketed.
Dude likes Big Corpa games, and liked his own comment. He's already lost.
@@bobothebob4716 I did not , actually.
trash game
is same as 1.0. so this league is bored.
