Step one cover your rear (Back) brake. Step two pop the clutch Step Three (feather) rear brake as it comes up (Don;t Slam) on it. Step four is lear throttle control Step Five Rinse and repeat.
I used to have a 1989 Yamaha TT600, and I could do wheelies with it. I would ride slowly in third gear and then pop the clutch while pulling on the handlebars. The front wheel lifted smoothly and stayed up without any issues. I never used the rear brake because as soon as I eased off the throttle, the front wheel would come back down immediately, so I never worried about flipping over. I felt completely in control and wasn't afraid of falling backward. I would keep the wheelie going until I reached the top speed I was comfortable with in third gear, then I would stop. I tried shifting up a few times during the wheelie, but it never worked well for me. Recently, I was talking to a friend, and he mentioned that what I was doing was more of a "speed wheelie" rather than a "real" wheelie. He explained that a real wheelie involves reaching the "balance point," where you need to use the rear brake to maintain control. Since cutting the throttle causes the front wheel to come down immediately, does that mean I'm not at the balance point? What do you think? Thanks.
No you’re not at balance point, you should fall backwards when doing a “real” wheelie. After you start falling you use your brake to bring yourself back up.
I feel like I’m too tall to wheelie when I try to hit the back brake my feet so big I literally gotta sit on the complete rear of the bike in order to hit the brake and when I sit that far back its hard to keep it at balance point
ur a crazy dude, but dw, ur not the only one (had a 250 2 stroke as my first bike, just as crazy with that powerband, still learned the wheelies tho) 😂😂
2nd or 3rd gear the best ones , 1st gear would pop the bike up real fast and aggressive and it would be a way higher percentage of you looping out and falling off the bike , a 250 2 stroke or 125 would be good tried both bikes out and was comfortable on them I’m 6ft 1 and ripping up the streets on small and little bikes 😂
Yo, I have a question I have a CRF 125 and when I’m in a Long wheelie it started bogging out or when you doing first gear circles do you have a tip or a mod I could do for that?
Dcode you are doing a great job on the upload
On the hood?? 😂😂😂 truuu
