Great review and wonderful playing! I am likely going to buy this amp to begin busking again - I used to go with friends before I went to university but it was never amplified, we just strummed and sang as loud as we possibly could. I had considered amps such as the Roland Cube Street but that one is so heavy and also too expensive for my budget. This seems like just the thing!
These are quite nice amps - I've used mine for busking. A thoroughly enjoyable review, thank you - liked and subscribed. Edit: the Martin sounds so sweet acoustically!
I have the amp. Unlike you I am rubbish, but this amp inspires me sooo much. I only play in our bedroom so don't need huge watts, but what a fantastic amp for the money. I'm at my rubbish best when plugged in to this amp 👍
Yes it still works and is reasonable for clean sounds but no good if you want some distortion or overdrive. You would have to turn the treble up to max anyway.
Hi, thanks for the review. Do you know if you can have reverb and chorus on the microphone or does it just go through the instrument channel? Many thanks, James
@@lawrencebrett8993 hi Lawrence, thanks so much for your reply, I'm thinking of getting the 45w so I can get back into busking. Thanks for answering my question. James
It takes 8 AA batteries. I haven’t tested full duration but 2 hours is definitely available - probably more like 4 at full volume. Of course it would depend the volume setting - I found it fairly loud at 50% but in a street you might need it flat out. Unfortunately I don’t have it any more so can’t test it.
It sounds okay if you want clean sounds but no good for overdrive. You need to turn the treble up to max or nearly max to get a decent sound but it’s not at all bad.
Great video Lawrence, thanks very much it's helped me a lot.
Take care, David.
Good guitarists can make all the difference to improve an amps sound well done sir
Sounds beautiful. I am looking something for ukulele acoustic
Thanks for that. Currently researching acoustic amps. You play well.
Takamine sounds lovely. Thanks for the review.
Great well explained review , I am currently looking for something in this range and this was very helpful
Lovely playing. Thanks.

Thanks! Yes it’s the best value Martin out there in my opinion. Half the price of a 00018 and sounds as good (though different).
thanks - well presented review

Thanks! Anything that inspires has to be great value. Keep at it!
Excellent Video....Very Helpful Thanks!!! - 👍
You're welcome!
I recently had the chance to play the Martin through a Bose S1 pro - my my, that one really sounds tremendous! Not cheap though.
Great review can you tell me what's it like if you plug in a electric guitar does it still work

Could you possibly do a short video of an electric guitar plugged in
I've presently got a 10 W bass amp which I can play my strat though
@@stephenhunt572 Sorry, unfortunately I don’t have the amp any more, replaced it with a Bose S1

Hi. The reverb works on both channels with the single control. The Chorus only works on the guitar channel.

Do you think you could use an electric with it? Would that sound alright?

@@lawrencebrett8993 ok, thanks.
