I played one of these today. An exceptionally good guitar for the price, I thought. It is beautifully presented, with a powerful, yet delicate (and very responsive) projection. I wasn’t just as keen on: the controls being inside the sound hole, the sharp corner on the cutaway and the rather heavy strings it was fitted with, but overall, a very impressive instrument. Comparable with any Taylor or Gibson I’ve tried.
@@MrMjp58 cheers, thanks for watching, I think they've gone for a very nice neck profile and was impressed by the quality of the fretwork too, will be reviewing a cheaper model soon
I have just bought one it’s a solid piece of craftsmanship, plays and sounds amazing. I love it. Very exquisitely ornate. Imho. Justin Johnson the blues guitarist on here did a review also..
I happened upon one of these in a music shop in japan the other day. It was for sale there for the equivalent of £290. I couldnt belive the quality of the thing for that momey.
Justin Johnson reviewed a Bromo guitar, not sure if its this one but he was impressed too. He is certainly no hacker either lol. He said it was entry level or a step above, so of course a professional could find faults. It's not to be picked apart as a match to an expensive guitar. I have bought most of my guitars used just to get a better guitar. I like the idea of a new one at an affordable price. Thanks for your honest review!
In my experience, Indonesian-made guitars are pretty good. £350 for an all-solid electro-acoustic is astonishing! Time will tell if it turns out to have been a good investment.
@@sanirulhaque1370 hi thanks for watching, I guess you'd call it grand auditorium size, it is actually smaller on the rear, bridge to the back of the guitar is 16mm compared to the sire A3 I have knocking around (grand auditorium size) which is 20mm to the back of the guitar. Body on the bromo is 11 mm deep. For comparisons sake I did pick up a bromo with a solid top and laminated back and sides which I will post a review of when it turns up, cheers
@@sanirulhaque1370 it's a very decent sounding guitar which is great to play, in fact it will probably be the one that gets taken out to do open mic nights etc. they do an almost identical model with a little less abalone, a more basic piezo and laminated back and sides for £200 I probably would have tried one if I could have found one for sale. The bracing is interesting on these as it has holes in it, I've never seen that before and it does seem to make it a very resonant guitar, cheers
@@Thomas-xs2kq hi it came from the guitar store in Southampton, they said they can order them in as bromo also do a travel guitar which I may have to buy if it plays as well as this one cheers
@@keithsnowdon8672 hi I'm just trying to be honest, no one pays me for doing this it's just my opinion. The guitar is solid wood and plays really well, yes I have a cort modern black and that is an incredible instrument beautifully finished in every possible way, this bromo is perhaps not quite as well finished but it plays and sounds equally as good, it is however around a third of the price. Yes guitars are good or bad but finishing quality may vary depending on price. It's a fair point. Thanks very much for watching, cheers

For me its always a warning sign when reviewers say for the money. Guitars are good or they are not. Enjoyed the review anyway
