Want practice was a photoshoot so it is understandable... Watch the interview before the practice and you'll see. Still he performed it and he killed it. The hat, I bet new hair style like in the old days of Shinee, using a hat to hide it.

@@jae8329 What is so interesting is to watch other high-level K Pop idols do the choreo from MOVE -- they stink. Terrfic dancers that they most definitely are, nevertheless, they simply do NOT have the artistry of Taemin. Executing choreography to make it convey sensuality, emotion and ease is the work of an artist not a mere dancer. Taemin is one of the all time great artists of dance.

ok so here's my current situation right now
since the jopping comeback i've been watching live stages and i was absolutely mesmerised by taemin, despite all the other amazing dancers next to him. frankly i had fallen out of touch w taemin but at one point i was obsessed (esp during the move era!) and i remember getting goosebumps watching his performances. i decided to revisit his dancing and his recent projects and boy... he is a king. i got goosebumps all over again
this man really is the best dancer in kpop. fight me. the amount of control he has from the tips of his fingers and down through his entire body... breathtaking. he moves like water and it's fascinating. im gonna slap myself for ever forgetting his greatness omg
its so sad new kpop fans r often sleeping on 2nd gen like him. what a goddamn shame. i hope people rediscover him and give him the attention he deserves

Start with SOS from China 2017! I may have mentioned this before. I fell in love with Dimash for his humanity. He is so humble l don’t know if he knows what ego means. Taemin strikes me as being the same way. The entertainment world in Korea is peculiar in so many ways. I hope Taemin is treated well. Thanks for your response. Be well!

One thing I genuinely appreciate about Taemin aside from his talent is the fact that his dance team is ALWAYS diverse. Be it gender or race, he's always really intentional about who dances with him, and I think his choice is usually based more on talent than gender or race.

You know it's crazy because I always thought facials played an enormous part in expressing the atmosphere of the song... but Taemin just went the entire dance pokerfaced and let his body tell the entire story. Like I am absolutely FLOORED at how much talent is packed into his body and every movement, it's insanity!

He's a very nuanced performer.
I remember him saying he didn't go all out when filming the 2 Kids MV.
He felt being overly emotional would detract from the storytelling.

Though Taemin is my ult, objectively speaking I feel like he achieved a whole another level of artistry. He cant be compared to any kpop soloist. HE IS THAT UNIQUE. One think stands out the most is that he is not pleasing the crowed with his songs. He is just plainly expressing his discography the way he want to portray himself. THATS AN ARTIST.

He is setting a standard for future kpop stars, whom I hope will respectfully will honor his artistic persona and style and treat him as a influencer. We are lucky to see him flourish and shining as he does. This is remarkable.
Kpop stars do give due respect to Taemin. It's the fans (some) of those stars that refuse to give credit to his artistry and that he is in fact the Dance king.

humixmusic4lyf the solo market in South Korea is very different from group market which is bigger. A solo career is a lot more difficult and he is doing something so out of the norm, it takes time and I hope he get a lot of recognition in a way, where he feels his overboard hard work will pay off.

FINALLY backup dancers that deserve to dance with taemin, this is the only time I’ve seen backup dancers with taemin actually be in sync. So often they just dance in their own individual ways so it doesn’t look good. But these dancers nailed it

indeed. he's been dancing his whole life. he started dancing michael jackson's songs and others like 15+ years ago and that's how he found his style.

Taemin's japanese dancers are on another level and no one is touching them.. they're insane :')
This is the MOST satisfying dance video. Every single person is LASER focused on the choreography and in tune with each other. Taemin really outdid himself with this song. And mad props to the back up dancers - they were so on point! Too often, I get distracted during Taemin’s performances because some backup dancers unfortunately just can’t keep up, have strange facial expressions, and are either sloppier with their movements or a fraction of a beat too slow. I was able to focus entirely on Taemin and the choreography thanks to the hard work of the team. I hope they collaborate with Taemin in the future as well
I love that the positioning of the dancers isn't based off of gender. Typically they make gender symmetrical by the performer. This is great

Exactly my thoughts. I think the reason being all of them radiate the same power when they hit those moves irrespective of their gender so it blends quite well (kudos to the sole girl dancing there👏)
