Although I feel like being in the spotlight since age 14 is incredibly hard (and his mental health probably suffered from it), he is also one of *the* people that should be able to showcase their artistry on a stage for the world to see and appreciate
Taemin’s the king of CBC which stands for Complete Body Control! It took him years and years of exercising, practicing, understanding and discovering the functionality, ability and reaction of every single nerve and muscle in his body. This is both mentally and physically extremely exhausting even with the benefits of a 150% of talent, passion, dedication, strong will and determination! All of this makes it possible for him to continue to develop and improve even further beyond the „impossible“ despite ingenious achievements already made! Taemin is a PHENOMENON. He’s the embodiment and definition of a true ARTIST. ♥️
What may have convinced the SM judge during his audition : - He crossed the line on the ground despite being told to not do it > he was noticed for this and can demonstrate that no matter the rule he needed space to own the music the best way possible. -he was on the beat (when tho others contestant weren't, so even more noticeable), so was actually dancing and just not moving his body randomly. -he had clean and sharp moves when the others were sloppy. -he was wearing adequate clothes to dance and not some school uniform making the judge think the contestant are taking things lightly without preparing the audition. - he was pretty young despite the accuracy of his movements so a lot of potential. And the most important : He was attracting everyone. Every contestant stopped or slow down at some point to stare at him instead of focusing on their own moves so he had the "idol/star" potential in him.

TINee Taeminnie may not be super popular like a lot of other amazing KPop artists or as widely known, but his influence within the industry speaks volumes. From trendsetting with his fashion to trendsetting with experimental music, insane duality to dance moves that would break the ankles of anyone else that tries to keep up or imitate, he is the king of KPop! so today i found out about taemin in a tiktok where an army was saying that bts has the top 3 best dancers in kpop, and since i am also an army and that the only group i stan is bts (don't get me wrong, i also know some other kpop groups that i listen to too), i was agreeing with it. Then i saw the comments and they were all like "it could be true but taemin exists", "if you don't know taemin you must be new to kpop" etc, sooo being a bit interested i typed his name in the tiktok hashtags and i started to watch random videos where he was dancing, singing, and also some cute moments. Idk how to explain but the man really intrigued me. So i decided to watch some performances on youtube, but just by searching "taemin" there was a WHOLE bunch of videos (shorts, perfomances, taemin moments, music videos and practices etc) and i didn't know where to start so i just scrolled then i came across this video. OMFG HOW IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE TO BE THIS TALENTED LIKE TAEMIN IS A WHOLE PACKAGE ALONE HE IS THE EPITOME OF PERFECTION. From his talents, amazing dancing and singing abilities, passion, dedication, and creativity, to his loving and caring personality that caught my eyes in some other videos, i fell in love. I am new to K-pop and knew only BTS . But only fine if they’re rings! But discovered Taemin through his song guilty. What an eye oor experience it has been. He is the best of the best. Almost everybody can take classes to learn how to dance and with a lot of training succeed in being a good dancer but not everybody has that body basic instinct that drives to feel the music just like that and he is that kind of person... He feels the music like if he was the music...😉
I saw him rated by a computer and 94.something and a professional dancer rate him by category and he is a completely clean dancer with no weaknesses in his dancing. The man said no one would ever be able to top him. I agree.
Not only that but as the video says, he was self taught. Like- usually ppl who r self taught r either stiff or they just miss a lot of aspects. Not taemin tho and its insane
taemins dance style is so intoxicating and detailed, it shows his skill and control over every inch of his body, while many have very good dance styles ( jimin, kai, rocky, j-hope..etc. ) i think taemins is the most skillful, versatile and controlled yet elegant
Agree so much. I've seen a lot of dance covers to Move and you can really tell how difficult it is to get that choreo right. You need extreme control over your body to make those movements look good. Nobody that I've ever seen comes even close to the way Taemin dances that song.

I’ve been dancing since I was 2 (I’m 18 now) and I’ve competed since I was 8, wining many competitions. I’ve done tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, point, musical theatre and even dabbled in partner dancing. I can confidently that I’ve never seen a dancer as diverse and in control of every single muscle in his body as taemin. For example, his dance to move requires a lot of control in your both your back and core muscles, which is easier said then done.
I don’t know if Taemin has professional dancing background but if he doesn’t, he’s quite impressive coz his dancing lines and postures are precise, as well he’s creative if he choreographed his dance numbers, from me who was a former professional dancer to you, salute & congrats for being a perfect entertainer, Taemin!
@@jazmine9429 No not quite he has been training in sm since he was in middle school. Idols, at least modern sm idols, are profesional kpop dancers. They train for decades and learn from some of the best teachers in Korea if not the world. Saying he was self taught is such an unrealistic and untrue thing to say and really diminishes the effort of his teachers and gives a skewed view of kpop in general.

@@mariamcguire2448 he does have a dance background that's what I'm saying he was trained in popping and locking and kpop dancing since he was 11 and in a more modern dance style since his early 20s that's a dance background~ he has been dancing professionally basically his entire life.
I love Taemin because he is very different from the others, he is not the typical dancer who does strong and fast choreography, he has created his own style, and he is not only a good dancer, he also sings very beautifully and not to mention his stage presence he is the best without a doubt ❤
I think he's the in kpop and overall best dancer that there is, not just in kpop. Plus he's a wonderful man. I wish I can hopefully to see him perform sometime in the future, that would be a dream come true.

Taemin is the only dancer to have control of each of the 600muscles..lol! Seriously, he can control his muscles everywhere. You wont see another idol do this. Jimin has beautiful extension, good control and power but Taemin has all that plus control.

Not everyone can appreciate Taemin's dance style, especially the newer ones. But a legend doesn't need approval from everyone. I mean he's been approved by dancers like Koharu and Ian Eastwood, and then you have KPOP idols who idolize Taemin, isn't that enough to show people how legendary of a performer/dancer he is?

I have been with SHINee since debut and have so much love for Taem (one of my 2 biases) and pride for all he has accomplished! Even for a OG Shawol I loved watching this. You can't learn body presence. If he wore a sack he would own it. Then you have the voice, looks and dance and you have this unique soul who uses every talent he has to entertain us. The only words to describe him are beautiful and captivating.

I was lucky enough to see him at a SuperM concert, and he stood out as the best performer on a stage with some of the best performers in kpop. And I didn't go in as a Taemin super stan (still not, but huge fan, would pay to see him again if opportunity ever arises).
I dont know all the kpop members but agree that Jimin is probably the best as he stood out for me. Then I started seeing Taemin and it was like wow. Even in his recent performance for Hard, his body looks to be "snapping" in the moves...and no one compares, including HyunJin who I also think is a great dancer.
i think what jimin lacks, is the vibe where you see a dancer playing with the beat almost... He is fantastic, but he always - to me at least - looks like he's following a set choreography. The best one to follow a choreography but still look like he isn't , is Taeyang of Bigbang. Taemin is right behind him at that.
Both Jimin and Taemin have got that dancer vibe. You can just tell that they’re GOATED. You have good dancers like Key and Jungkook but Taemin and Jimin are leagues apart from them.
Taemin is incomparable! His performance is fluid, expressions that can touch your soul. I don’t think jimin has that level of effortlessness. He seems like trying hard and honestly speaking jimin seems like copied version of Taemin. Not saying jimin is not good, but even you see star in and his artistry there is no comparison between him and the rest. Taemin is the pride of K-pop. He deserves global recognition and much more higher achievement than what he already has achieved. It is an insult to this legend that he has not been exposed to obsl audience more. I myself discovered him after his guilty song!!! What an eye opener has it been!!! I see no other K-pop artist when he is at the screen. None! He is effortlessly beautiful inside out.

Also, I wanted to say, he is a full artist, one of those rare artists that really knows who he is and want he wants to express to the world and he does it so beautifully. With all the hype around BTS in recent years, you'd think Jimin was the best dancer of all time. Although Jimin is talented and has his own style, Taemin sets the bar for the rest to follow. When music flows into him, he feels it with every ounce of his body and exudes it with pure artistry that is breathtaking to see. He's a rare talent that has it all from singing, dancing, to visuals.

I saw him rated by a computer and 94.something and a professional dancer rate him by category and he is a completely clean dancer with no weaknesses in his dancing. The man said no one would ever be able to top him. I agree.

taemins dance style is so intoxicating and detailed, it shows his skill and control over every inch of his body, while many have very good dance styles ( jimin, kai, rocky, j-hope..etc. ) i think taemins is the most skillful, versatile and controlled yet elegant
Agree so much. I've seen a lot of dance covers to Move and you can really tell how difficult it is to get that choreo right. You need extreme control over your body to make those movements look good. Nobody that I've ever seen comes even close to the way Taemin dances that song.

I’ve been dancing since I was 2 (I’m 18 now) and I’ve competed since I was 8, wining many competitions. I’ve done tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, point, musical theatre and even dabbled in partner dancing. I can confidently that I’ve never seen a dancer as diverse and in control of every single muscle in his body as taemin. For example, his dance to move requires a lot of control in your both your back and core muscles, which is easier said then done.

@@jazmine9429 No not quite he has been training in sm since he was in middle school. Idols, at least modern sm idols, are profesional kpop dancers. They train for decades and learn from some of the best teachers in Korea if not the world. Saying he was self taught is such an unrealistic and untrue thing to say and really diminishes the effort of his teachers and gives a skewed view of kpop in general.

@@mariamcguire2448 he does have a dance background that's what I'm saying he was trained in popping and locking and kpop dancing since he was 11 and in a more modern dance style since his early 20s that's a dance background~ he has been dancing professionally basically his entire life.
I love Taemin because he is very different from the others, he is not the typical dancer who does strong and fast choreography, he has created his own style, and he is not only a good dancer, he also sings very beautifully and not to mention his stage presence

Not everyone can appreciate Taemin's dance style, especially the newer ones. But a legend doesn't need approval from everyone. I mean he's been approved by dancers like Koharu and Ian Eastwood, and then you have KPOP idols who idolize Taemin, isn't that enough to show people how legendary of a performer/dancer he is?
Even if he wasn't this good at dancing, I think I woukd still enjoy his stages the most... He's not just dancing... Well idk what else he's doing but I know that it's magical 🤣
I have been with SHINee since debut and have so much love for Taem (one of my 2 biases) and pride for all he has accomplished! Even for a OG Shawol I loved watching this. I have shoved so many people into the SHINee vortex via Taemin and this video will go in my arsenal now! Love it! He is not a "Idol" Taem is a "Artist" and there is a huge difference. i just stumbled across Tae Min and i simply cant get enough of him, his androgenous look draws me in much like bowie and prince did in their hey day. I could watch him all day and i am sure i would never be bored. I think the U.S. needs to see him i am sure the art / theatre community would welcome his talent with open arms. . thanks for this video i am going to share this with everyone i know.
You can't learn body presence. If he wore a sack he would own it. Then you have the voice, looks and dance and you have this unique soul who uses every talent he has to entertain us. The only words to describe him are beautiful and captivating.

I was lucky enough to see him at a SuperM concert, and he stood out as the best performer on a stage with some of the best performers in kpop. And I didn't go in as a Taemin super stan (still not, but huge fan, would pay to see him again if opportunity ever arises).
I used to think Jimin was the ONE. But recently, Taemin’s unattainable body control and swagger is just applaudable, different gravy.
I dont know all the kpop members but agree that Jimin is probably the best as he stood out for me. Then I started seeing Taemin and it was like wow. Even in his recent performance for Hard, his body looks to be "snapping" in the moves...and no one compares, including HyunJin who I also think is a great dancer.

i think what jimin lacks, is the vibe where you see a dancer playing with the beat almost... He is fantastic, but he always - to me at least - looks like he's following a set choreography.
The best one to follow a choreography but still look like he isn't , is Taeyang of Bigbang. Taemin is right behind him at that.
Both Jimin and Taemin have got that dancer vibe. You can just tell that they’re GOATED. You have good dancers like Key and Jungkook but Taemin and Jimin are leagues apart from them.
Taemin is incomparable! His performance is fluid, expressions that can touch your soul. I don’t think jimin has that level of effortlessness. He seems like trying hard and honestly speaking jimin seems like copied version of Taemin. Not saying jimin is not good, but even you see star in and his artistry there is no comparison between him and the rest. Taemin is the pride of K-pop. He deserves global recognition and much more higher achievement than what he already has achieved. It is an insult to this legend that he has not been exposed to obsl audience more. I myself discovered him after his guilty song!!! What an eye opener has it been!!! I see no other K-pop artist when he is at the screen. None! He is effortlessly beautiful inside out.

Thank you for this video, I learned other songs of him that i didnt know. Also, I wanted to say, he is a full artist, one of those rare artists that really knows who he is and want he wants to express to the world and he does it so beautifully. To be honest, i was a bit sad when he joined SuperM, they are all amazing, but he has his own thing. All his solo musics and performances have something extra.

With all the hype around BTS in recent years, you'd think Jimin was the best dancer of all time. Although Jimin is talented and has his own style, Taemin sets the bar for the rest to follow. When music flows into him, he feels it with every ounce of his body and exudes it with pure artistry that is breathtaking to see. He's a rare talent that has it all from singing, dancing, to visuals.

Siempre me pregunto que más puedo hacer por él para que todo el mundo pueda conocerlo, le agradezco tanto a sus padres que lo hayan apoyado cuando el quizo audicionar ... Taemin es el artista que nadie debe perderse de ver en vivo. Todavía sueño con el día que pueda verlo en vivo y disfrutar realmente de todo lo que sabe. Es un caballero, es el idol más preparado que existe en corea sin desmerecer a otros , un rey , una criatura fuera de este mundo y aún así jamás le dieron el lugar verdadero que él debería ocupar, el 80% de los idols lo tiene como modelo a seguir y lo respetan tanto, no entiendo como la industria no ve eso.
