A new off-road SUV is headed our way. The 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser is hearkening back to its roots with a few retro styling cues, more maneuverable dimensions, and most importantly, a lower price. Although not the roofless, doorless FJ40 redux many hoped for, the new Land Cruiser should be more attainable than the last one, with an automaker-claimed starting price in the mid-$50,000 range.

You mean the LX600 that is based on the LC300 platform. The Off Road spec LX600 is Japan is offered with a front locker just like the LC300 GR edition.

Well, it really hasn't slimmed down at all as this is the next generation Land Cruiser Prado which has always been a smaller version of the Land Cruiser family. The successor to the 200 series, i.e. the 300 series Land Cruiser, is still a large whale of a vehicle.

4cyl because this is the Prado (J250) since the bigger or real Land Cruiser (J300) series isn't available in america and that had the twin-turbo V6.

I think all trim levels are all heavy on the plastic, just like almost all cars. What it is flat black plastic, no body color matched. Otherwise it's probably the same exact parts.

What do you guys think of this looking exactly like a 2008 Nissan Xterra? If Nissan had paid enough attention to their Xterra, this is what the modern one would loo like. It seems Toyota rebadged the design of the Nissan Xterra and call it the new Land Cruiser.
