Thanks a lot for reminding us to pay attention to our language and good manners in communication with others. It is good to know and react properly, how to say - Sorry, I put my foot in it, Pardon my French etc. when it happens that you accidentally cross the line in conversation with someone...
Hey, my teacher Leila, I'm not a native speaker, I'm Chinese. I've been in different videos, but I do enjoy your video most, because you're a brilliant teacher, your pronuncition is amazing, you correct my pronunciation that I pronounced wrong before.Today the lesson is about POLITE ENGLISH. It jogs my memory of insult. You know what, I was insulted by a clearly small minded Englishman, he called me stupid, and said to me, 'You can't make the point, your English is rubbish.' My attitude towards English people was different. You know, English is universal language, it's not their language, it belongs to people all over the world. English is not an art to be mastered, it's a tool to use to get a result of communication. He had no idea what road I took to get to where I am at. He is nobody to judge my English skill, right? You know, a clear pronunciation and perfect grammar is the key to better English. 'NATIVE' is not the word in my dictionary, it's not my true goal. I hate nothing more than hearing the term speak like a native speaker. My goal is to be able to communicate with confidence as a speaker and as a patient listener. I understand what bring to the table as a non native speaker is a gift, an advantage. I'm the NEW SPEAKER of English. Thanks so much. Have a wonderful week. Bye for now. I'll see you next time in the next video.

I love your teaching, how can i speak better English please
Watch our lesson this weekend, there is an opportunity to study with an online language school. That might help? 🤷🏻♀️👍
My son is a total craft! He's polite in front of teachers and strange people and he mind his ps and qs but when he's speaking to us ,he doesn't mind his language.
It's a wish he mind his language when speaking to us.
I love your english course.
Example: It was such a nice joke at the beginning bymut eventually Peter crossed the line
Good example! 👍😊
Gud dear. Take care.
Thank you for the lesson. I wonder if it is appropriate to say 'you put on some weight' or 'you lost some weight' Appreciate in advance.
Please I love idiomatic expressions
Learning to speak English politely for just in case! I'm living in a crazy country and seldom heard people do it but only words that hard to hear: the USA!
Superb madam ji 💓💓💓💓 India 💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓
Hey olz can u explain what's ps and qs...juat explain directly and clearly olz cuz i didn't get that really ma'am
It would my pleasure if u do so😊😊🤗
If you tell someone to mind their ps and qs, you are telling them to be careful how they behave, to be very polite. Does that help? 💕😊
@@LoveEnglishUK yess🤩🤩
Thanks ma'am
The bottom line is If you wanna study English, be fluent and live the life, you have to practise a lot. It's the done thing . Practice does make perfect 💪 I will do what should be done. You're right. It's the done thing to practise everyday to live happily.
Nice
May I use this expression "to put your foot in it" in this way "I very often put my foot in having conversations with people."? :)

Great job.
That means I did something bad! Maybe I crossed a line when I swore to explain the 1st idiom? 😳
It was a joke... I love your lessons ✌💙
You are great, I apologize what points or topic you explain and suggest us (Learning English) simple to receipt and apply English as International Language. May be you will corrret deeply.
At 0:54 you said, "... and get responses from Sabrah an I". I'd like to know why did you use "I" instead of "me" there? I mean, I put this one into Grammarly and it corrected "I" -> "me". 🤷♀
Thanks my teacher ❤❤
You’re very welcome😊👍💕
New things thank you
Welcome 💕😊💕
Cross the Rubicon is similar to cross the line? :)
No, just ‘cross the line’ and ‘overstep the mark’ 👍😊💕
In Russian we use: to overstep the line... Thank you.
Very similar! Great 👍
What could I use instead of effed up? Pardon my French.
‘Excuse my language’
