    An old work colleague of mine was a such a skinflint, he made an Excel sheet to rank beers based on price/alcohol volume to get the best "booze for the money" when he was invited to parties and brought beers. He even admitted (while drunk) he preferred buying them in small cans because smaller volume by can reduce the waste of unfinished opened cans. Of course he took back home unopened ones. There are people like that, nobody held it against him, because he was wacky and very gentle with people. That bloke was a rare specimen : both greedy and benevolent.

    The expression "muppet" probably came into the vernacular from the Royal Navy. The RN is known as "Pusser" and a dozy sailor is a "muppet" - the Most Useless Person Pusser Ever Trained".

    Hello Leila! I observed, many times in your videos, you pronunce 'r' in 'or'. And it's not linking or intrussive 'r'. Did you borrow it form AmE without realising it or you pronunced it like this all the time? xD And thank you for this new lessons, I will use some of this with my english friends to see their reactions :D

    If you really want to insult people, where they; Will; have to use a translator; try using 'Jackspeak' here is just a sample.....Heads = Toilet, Dhobi Dust/Dhobi Walla = washing powder/some one who washes clothes, Scran Bag = A bag where lost/loose items of clothes/kit are put; also used to denote someone who's a scruffy person, 'You look like a right scran bag', Crumb duster = Steward, Fanny rat = Womaniser, Necky = Got a nerve, One-eye = Idiot, D.S.M.S.M.R. = Don't See Me See My Relief, Scab lifter = Medical Assistant, Shitinit = Be quiet!, Sickbay shackle = Safety pin...

      No if you are going to kick someone's ass it means you will beat them physically or beat them in a competition. If you say someone kicks ass it is a compliment it means they are doing very well at something - it is very informal.
