UA-cam put you on my recommended videos today, I'm mucho pleased! Watched 3 or 4, laughed and learned a couple of things, what could be better? Also subscribed, will be looking for more good stuff. Be safe.
I've been binging your videos all day! I'm backpacking around New Zealand for 4 months starting in Feb and it's my first solo trip :) I'm also from Minnesota and your videos have been entertaining, but also so positive and encouraging
Seth is like the champion of this whole episode! Surfing: check. Relocation of Ralph: check. You guys need your own travel show! Always leave me wanting more! Love it!
I found your channel like two weeks ago, I binged watched /all/ of your videos, and now I'm hooked. Love your spirit, and your determination to live the life you want. Very inspiring!!!
You nailed the colour of Lake Pukaki and Mt Aoraki (aka Mt Cook). Thanks for waiting for the weather to clear and wicked light conditions. Great Drone work!
Sumner awesome beach last time I was there I seen a whole bunch of people skinny dipping in the middle of the day and there was kids around building sand castles pretty interesting place
Seth did an awesome job surfing for his first time! Killed it bro! @7:22 Seth's face and his reaction OMG ROFL. The best reaction face I've seen in awhile. Then Lake Pukaki when I first heard you say it, did NOT sound like you were saying a "P". Then I listed again and heard it correctly after getting my brain out of the gutter LOL. Loved the video Shayla! New Zealand is beautiful.
(I’m from Christchurch) I went to castle hill way to many times for school and there’s this caving thing not to far from castle hill it’s a pretty fun experience but I do recommend being careful and go the right way XD
5:13 coming from someone that has surfed his entire life, that is probably the best i have ever seen anyone surf on their first day. Natural stance, good style, if he spent season surfing, he would rip.
Not even blowing smoke I live at the beach in Australia, surfing was taught at our school. Spent my teenage years competitive surfing, now walk my local beach watch people learn to surf in those classes, i stop to watch at times. And i'm telling you now, your partner really has a natural balance and stance and can read the waves... He has the right attack attitude for surfing... You really should get him on a board again, and on a proper fibreglass board, those soft surfboards are actually quite hard to ride as the flex and bend.
I live a few hours away from castle hill and been there lots I never knew that about being the spiritual capital lol its just little old castle hill to me :P
Just stumbled across one of your videos today - UA-cam suggested it to me. Your channel is great! Keep up the great work and pumping out these entertaining videos ... there is a uniqueness to your style.
Just stumbled upon your channel, cool vids. I live in Christchurch, and though you don't seem to have seen a huge amount of what's here, you make it look great. Good choice going to Taylor's and Sumner beaches, New Brighton is a broken shit hole. On that note, I'm wonder what your thoughts are from the perspective of a foreigner seeing a previously very broken city rebuilding after natural disasters?
Haha not many people do! It's probably the 2nd most popular game out in NZ (behind Rugby). Like basketball and handball in one sport. New Zealand is 2nd in the world for the sport of Netball!
Your channel is great. New sub. I am a Kiwi living overseas so your trip around is good to see and cracks me up. Have you heard the phrase "sweet as" in NZ?
Best tip for treating sandfly bites: Keep.them.cool. If they get hot they'll itch like fire. The West Coast has the most sandflies so stay covered! Chur!
heyyy! i climbed avalanche peak for my school camp when i was 10! edit: just realised i was AT THAT RUGBY GAME! i went with my cousins, crusaders 4 lifeeeee
I was wondering how you find vehicles to buy when your traveling? And do you sell them before you leave again? I'm thinking I'll need to buy one when I study in NZ but I'm worried about not being able to sell it when it's time to go back home!!
What kind of drone do you fly? Also, did you have any trouble flying it in NZ? I've been looking into the rules & regs and they seem crazy restrictive. I'm planning on going to NZ in July-ish and I would love to take some drone footage but I'm scared to buy a good drone and haul it all the way down there only to not be able to fly it. What would you recommend?
Fiona Delfosse for the most part flying drones in towns is out of bounds due to there being flight paths of most major airports but if your out side of town your ok just be careful of planes still as people have private airfields and there a public ones around for small planes
Omg Taylor’s mistake my group went there at 10pm at night while our leader left us randomly to go to the van to check our other leader would recommend don’t leave teenaged alone walking our way back to the meeting spot it gets pretty reckless XD
Also don't camp or stay by water at dusk or sit in shade by bodies of water when it's sunny and buy "Bushmans" insect repellent if you are not committed to the antihistamine solution.
Rugby players look like cheerleaders?? Haha that’s funny. Now I cannot unsee the image, but wait until you far away from New Zealand before saying it out loud again lol.
Cheerleaders?! Stick with Seth's advice. You're doing a lot of stuff and having fun. South island and rain go hand in hand. Land of the long white cloud ring a bell?
Way to shred the waves Seth! 🌊 I'm glad you're enjoying your time in New Zealand. I think the "cheerleaders" are called flyers in rugby. One of my friends played in high school and was the one that got lifted.
Living On A One Way woah you replied!! I'm glad you had so much fun in our country!!! Btw the play that they do where they look like cheerleaders is called a lineout! I'm not sure what it is like in American football but think of it like in soccer and they have a throw in it's basically that
UA-cam put you on my recommended videos today, I'm mucho pleased! Watched 3 or 4, laughed and learned a couple of things, what could be better? Also subscribed, will be looking for more good stuff. Be safe.
Oh wow awesome!!!
So stoked you enjoy the videos! Thank you for the comment as well, it’s always cool to know new ppl are here and that they like it!!

omg you're going to have SUUUCH a great time!!! I'm so excited for you!
New Zealand is called, Where Time begins. The start of the Time Zones. Like where I live is Mountain Time. There it's the beginning of time.
Oh wow that’s cool!
Seth is like the champion of this whole episode! Surfing: check. Relocation of Ralph: check. You guys need your own travel show! Always leave me wanting more! Love it!
Haha right!! He definitely did some cool things!
Home town. Taylors and Sumner are awesome. Hope you went to Milford Sound and hiked the area. Best ever
We totally did!

Not even blowing smoke

You really should get him on a board again, and on a proper fibreglass board, those soft surfboards are actually quite hard to ride as the flex and bend.
If your in New zealand again might wanna check out Lake Takapo and Quails Island,
Good to know thank you!!
If you're going to make suggestions about locations to visit, at least get the spelling correct.
Lake Tekapo

That’s what everyone told him!
Sharks are all around the NZ coast. Tiger and bull sharks prefer warmer water than we have but Great Whites and Mako are not that rare.

It’s such an awesome place!!

You should got to a netball game!
I don’t even know what that is!!
Haha not many people do! It's probably the 2nd most popular game out in NZ (behind Rugby). Like basketball and handball in one sport. New Zealand is 2nd in the world for the sport of Netball!
Noone watches netball. Cricket is our number 2 sport.
Well maybe you don't. I meant female sport, Netball is either 1 or 2
Good on ya Seth..sweet as bro!!!
You went surfing where I live!!!!
It was so great!!
Your channel is great. New sub. I am a Kiwi living overseas so your trip around is good to see and cracks me up. Have you heard the phrase "sweet as" in NZ?
Yay! Nz is at the top of my list now. Yes!! So hilarious!
Great videos, funny stuff with your sister. I'm a kiwi and you've literally seen more of my country than I have lol.
Best tip for treating sandfly bites: Keep.them.cool. If they get hot they'll itch like fire. The West Coast has the most sandflies so stay covered! Chur!
Love your New Zealand videos. Silly question, do you need a permit to fly a done in the country?
Wow this got put on my recommended today. You guys should have gone and looked at the old broken churches from the earthquake

Edit: I think New Zealand is now on my bucket list!
He’d just never done it, but he totally got it!
Living On A One Way well I wish I could take to something I just learned like he did, man!
I was wondering how you find vehicles to buy when your traveling? And do you sell them before you leave again? I'm thinking I'll need to buy one when I study in NZ but I'm worried about not being able to sell it when it's time to go back home!!
I rented, but there are backpack pages on Facebook you should search!
ok, thank you!
I like the vlog style
Thanks for the response!
I live in nz at tapia.:-)
Great video, are you going to checkout Queenstown?
Yeah we’re in wanaka now Queenstown is next!
I'm jealous of you two!
At the beginning of the video, I thought it said Moose instead of Mouse, I was like WTF HOW DID A MOOSE GET IN YOUR VAN?!?!
hahahahaha
You're very brave and look like you don't have a care in the world. I love that 😁😁😁
Yeah I totally have fears but I just do it anyway! Thank you!
don't be so soocky about rain!=)
What kind of drone do you fly? Also, did you have any trouble flying it in NZ? I've been looking into the rules & regs and they seem crazy restrictive. I'm planning on going to NZ in July-ish and I would love to take some drone footage but I'm scared to buy a good drone and haul it all the way down there only to not be able to fly it. What would you recommend?
We flew the phantom 4 standard. We could in some places and not in others, just had to watch for the signs
You go through Ashburton?
We didn’t..
How much caffeine do u have?
All of it!
omg comparing rugby players to cheerleaders...that is awesome.
haha that's the maori wave bro both eye brows up, flick head back
antihistamine tablets is my Kiwi Sandfly tip.
Omg! 😂😂😂
Also don't camp or stay by water at dusk or sit in shade by bodies of water when it's sunny and buy "Bushmans" insect repellent if you are not committed to the antihistamine solution.
Can you please do a video of how to get into helping at refugees etc?!
Search for groups in Athens on Facebook. Or send happy caravan in lamia an email :)
I'm from Chich chich ! :)
U mean lake tekapo, thats not how u say it is tek-a-po
Rugby players look like cheerleaders?? Haha that’s funny. Now I cannot unsee the image, but wait until you far away from New Zealand before saying it out loud again lol.
Hahaha right? Seth had already had the NZ Rugby v American football debate! 😂
American Football is like watching paint dry.
Nzl tourism board needs to hire yall as ambassadors 😂
Thanks for letting the mouse go. I think mice are good luck :)
Do you?! Well I’m glad we did!
Hahaha okay
That's not true it it is not good for nz wild life
Cheerleaders?! Stick with Seth's advice. You're doing a lot of stuff and having fun. South island and rain go hand in hand. Land of the long white cloud ring a bell?
Haha I know I shouldn’t have said cheerleaders!
We just heard this today!
If you guys wanna get a glimpse into Kiwi's watch Flight of the Conchords.
The one person who disliked this (I know your Australian) please un dislike this video and can we all just get along lol
Bahaha
ayy lmao in the learn to surf clip I can see my house
Way to shred the waves Seth! 🌊 I'm glad you're enjoying your time in New Zealand. I think the "cheerleaders" are called flyers in rugby. One of my friends played in high school and was the one that got lifted.
It was pretty cool! Haha
Living On A One Way It looked like fun. Any event that gets your blood pumping [or someone's clothes off] is usually a good time. 😂😂
Zack Attack I don’t think they are called flyers lmao
FC ULTIMATEC Probably not. Hahaha! I think I'm mixing a cheerleading term with rugby.
They're called locks, usually the tall bulky guys
as a kiwi your videos are hilarious
SOOO good to hear!! I'm so stoked kiwis are enjoying it, thats super awesome!
Living On A One Way woah you replied!! I'm glad you had so much fun in our country!!! Btw the play that they do where they look like cheerleaders is called a lineout! I'm not sure what it is like in American football but think of it like in soccer and they have a throw in it's basically that
Don’t call the Rugby players cheerleaders. 😀
You're funny :)
Your "mouse" looked more like a bush Rat .
Introduced mice eat NZ's native, unique and often endangered insects and reptiles......next time don't let it go!
WHOOPS!
Opp
