Really enjoying your travels in Canada. I’m a native Calgarian and have travelled this route dozens of times. If we couldn’t give you a sunny, blue sky day, fluffy white snow is the next best way to experience Banff National Park. I suspect you’ll never forget this week! I see far more highs than lows on your journey so far. Safe travels!
Hi Jordan and Emily, even though inconvenient, the fresh snow sure made for a beautiful landscape on the mountains and the Evergreen trees. Hope for the rest of your time in Banff you have a little nicer weather to explore and hike.
Banff looks amazing!! A hugggge bucket list spot! Not sure about all of that snow though, you guys handled it like champs. I think I might've panicked. lol
We were just in Romania (Brasov) a few weeks ago for vacation and had 18" of snow! Definitely not normal for the time of year and we weren't prepared. It was beautiful but frustrating but we just went with it
Yyyeeessssss, definitely worth it. I think your experience will be pretty different in summer. We ran into problems of things being closed but you might run into problems of things being full! 😄
@@samandnick 😄 for sure! We would look online at campsites that were supposed to be open but then show up and there was usually only 1 options instead of the 4 online! Also the pricing is completely different 😄 aaaaaand almost all hiking trails were closed!
@@JordanandEmily Oh no!! That's a bummer! Well thanks for letting us know! With our luck, everything will be booked up by the time I get to booking things haha!
Cleaning off the car, and black ice, are the worst parts of winter driving in Canada. I guess you guys now see why Canada is the Christmas Capital of the World, eh? Lol
sometimes places that are super popular (like Banff!) aren't worth all of the fanfare that people give it! Happily, Banff is for sure worth the hype in our books ☺️
@@JordanandEmily True but you just can't judge it by looking in a few days, you have to experience it (just like any other popular parks) - hike, ski, snowboard in bound resort or backcountry, multi day camping backpacking, cycling, driving a sports car, canoeing, climbing, partying, attend festivals. etc. Banff NP is year round.
@@mjor6406 unfortunately if we were to spend a year in every place we wanted to visit one lifetime would not be close to enough time! So we take what we can get and that’s a few days 😊 Do you not think Banff if worth the hype?

We will absolutely not forget the journey! you're 100% right!
We foresee a lot of highs!!

Agreed! it was so beautiful! we'll have time to hike in other places I hope!
When did you visit this place, is it April 2023?
@@kanth339 yeah! Only a week or so ago!
Fortune favours the brave!
😄 I sure hope so! Thanks for watching 😊
So cold Jordan!! 🥶🥶
so cold!! ❄️
@@JordanandEmily Good thing you’re Hot 🔥 Jordan. 😊🌎
he really is, isn't he?!

Hahah oh we definitely panicked! But it was a magical place none-the-less!
Suzie's are made for snow. They keep the Canadian ski hills running like clocks.
Thanks for visiting and carry on.
Wish we went skiing!!

😄 that's what you've got to do! Just go with it! 18 inches is crazy though, would have made Romania look so beautiful!
I knew when you were at the Information Centre, she was going to sent you to Johnson Canyon (Johnstone?).
Hahaha 😆 is it that predictable?
what was the date for this recording?
becuse we, my boyfriend and I, are traveling to Calgary on the 2 may :)
This was only a couple of weeks ago, April 12th! All our videos in the region are around that date and I'd think the weather should be pretty similar!
We want to go to Banff so badly! We are thinking about doing a Canadian road trip this summer! Are you enjoying it?

What is there to do in Banff?
A whole bunch!

Completely get it! ❤️🇨🇦
Why do you say hype? Canadians, Americans, Japanese and Europeans have been going to Banff for 100 years.
