  • Yamaha Super Tenere In this video I review the MC Cruise control unit after owning and using it for quite some time. What do I really think of it? Is it worth buying? Do you even need a cruise control on a motorcycle? This is my opinion, thanks for watching.

@@standupmoto $700 is a bit, but it's also way cheaper to do this than buy a newer s10. I just got mine for $5,400. Going to try to get a bike to a million miles and this might be it, with the help of cruise control too. Seeing how well it works has sold me.

@@Hunter1st Gday, yes definitely expensive but will definitely help you keep your license not to mention the fines for speeding and the relaxed long distance touring. I would hope at sale time you would recoup some of the outlay. Wow 1m miles, I don’t see why it couldn’t, just keep a good quality synthetic oil in her and regularly change the filter. Good luck with your venture, if you get there I’m sure I’ll see you in plenty of bike mag’s. Cheers

@@standupmoto well rebuilding the engine would only cost me about $2,000 in parts. but I can't wait to see how far this engine will go without any work. I believe I've seen people go 300+ and still needed nothing.

@@standupmoto Just got it. $715 usd total with the speedometer calibration module. I just saw the manual it is super complicated, I am so glad they made a great manual that has so many pictures.

Great review video, planning on getting the same cruise control for my fz09 prior to a big road trip this summer. Really good point about using it to avoid speeding tickets, especially with those insanely high amounts! Cheers

Brilliant video thanks Steve. I only saw this review long after watching your tender review, didn't know you had this installed. 👌

Too pricey for me. Nice option to have on a motorcycle though. I did purchase a throttle lock and at least I can free my right hand occasionally to stretch it out or adjust my jacket vents etc. Throttle lock is not perfect but for the money, it does the trick.

Yes exactly, it’s a lot of money and if your a little more disciplined than me the lock is fine. My problem with my locks is I don’t pay enough attention to the rise and fall of the terrain, then 🚓 they’ve got me. Cheers.
