Garrett, excellent video as always. Could not wait to see this video since you posted pics on IG. Looks amazing. Good choice on the electronics. I love the Holmes motors. Running one in my TRX4 and got the stubby for the SCX10 III. Not sure when you will be able to get this out but can't wait to see it on the trail 👍👍
Ready Set RC Many thanks! 😎👊 That’s awesome to hear, makes me excited to try this system. Can’t wait to see how your SCX10 iii turns out, looks like the build is coming along very well. 👍 I hope to get mine out for its first run within the next couple of days, weather permitting. 😄
I unfortunately don’t have a link to the exact listing that I used, but if you search “1.9 beadlock rims for TRX4” on eBay, you should be able to find them available from a few sellers. 👍
GMUMMY I’m not aware of any videos, but I basically just sprayed Tamiya rattle can pain on a small (old) paintbrush and started flicking it at the body. Then you just back it with whatever color you want. 👌
Thanks! To get the splatter effect, I flicked a paintbrush full of paint at the body. Besides that, here's a video that shows the rest of my RC body painting process: ua-cam.com/video/zVOB7t49h0w/v-deo.html
RC MT Thank you! 😄🤝 Its first run should be within the next couple of days hopefully. I believe this 370TBL has up to 650 oz-in of torque @ 7.4v. It’s absolutely crazy, but awesome. 😂
For a crawler, using thread locker to assemble the wheels is not necessary. Also, SHAME on you for using counterfeit Chinese wheels. Yes VP wheels are more expensive but I prefer to support American companies.
I’ve had some of these screws loosen in the past since they thread into metal, so I prefer to take a little extra time & apply thread locker for reassurance. Shame on me? 🤦♂️ I am a huge proponent of buying local, but these wheels are an exception. I simply can’t justify purchasing VP wheels that cost over 4 times the price of these that are nearly identical. If I had unlimited funds, I’d absolutely buy the VP wheels; however, that is not the case.

Hope the running Vid will come soon 😇 !
Best regards from Germany
Hannes
H. Crawler Thanks for taking the time to watch and leave a comment! 😄 The running video should be coming up very soon. 😉 Take care!
Thats one sweet rig!
When I’m doing bead locks I used a small drop of lock tight on the table to I just dip the tip in to make its way easier
John Roddy I actually used that method to install all of the smaller screws on the outer beadlock ring. Definitely makes things go quicker. 😎👌
Good vid. How do you make such silver coating effect? Feel much better effect than spray. Amazing!
I used Spaz Stix spray on mirror chrome. Thanks for watching!
Looking good man! You have a link to your beadlocks thanks?
I unfortunately don’t have a link to the exact listing that I used, but if you search “1.9 beadlock rims for TRX4” on eBay, you should be able to find them available from a few sellers. 👍
Nice looking jeep like the rims and tires👍👍👊🔥
Kurt's RCs Thanks for watching! 😄🤘
Is there a vid on the paint job
GMUMMY Unfortunately no, painting/finishing this body was a pretty long process that would’ve been tough to capture.
@@LVC_RC Really like how the body looks. Are there any vids you know of showing the technique or is a name other than splatter paint job?
GMUMMY I’m not aware of any videos, but I basically just sprayed Tamiya rattle can pain on a small (old) paintbrush and started flicking it at the body. Then you just back it with whatever color you want. 👌
Awesome job my RC friend i love the paint job 👍🏻💯
Sean P RC Thank you! I appreciate it. 😄👍

Island RC -Duke Thanks for taking the time to watch! I appreciate it. 🤝😄
@@LVC_RC your very welcome my friend
I like the setup
RC Propaganda Thanks for watching, hopefully it performs well. 😎👍👊
how did you paint the body, do you have a video tutorial, it's excellent

03/2022. I'm planning on a the same 13 turn Crawlmaster for my Axial SCX10 III as you have chosen. How has it performed for you?
Nice! I’ve been satisfied with its performance. 👍
Sweet! SBG used the same tires too..
GMUMMY Thanks for watching! 👍 They seem to be a pretty popular tire, Matt’s SCX10 iii looks amazing. 🤯
Great video first one that was not to long and boring good looking truck
John Roddy Thank you! I try to make every second count. 😉
Truck looks amazing bro! When I get paid this week I'm going to buy me some merch for sure.
RCHobbySteve Thanks for taking the time to watch! Much appreciated. 😄👊
Wow nice let us know if you like the TRX4 Or the axial.
Jeremy Magsanoc Thanks for watching! Absolutely, it’ll be interesting to see how this truck stacks up. 😄👍
What an awesome build man. I really dig the body. Excited to see it run. What are the specs on that protek servo? I’ve been looking into them recently
RC MT Thank you! 😄🤝 Its first run should be within the next couple of days hopefully. I believe this 370TBL has up to 650 oz-in of torque @ 7.4v. It’s absolutely crazy, but awesome. 😂
I can’t wait for my gladiator to show up so I can start the build.
Just picked mine up from hobbytown. Going to wait until tomorrow to open it
not too fast a 13t engine for a crawler?
ivadavis The CrawlMaster Sport is a 5-slot motor rather than a 3-slot, so I believe this 13t 5-slot is about the same as a 27t 3-slot. 👍
@@LVC_RC ha okay! I intended to place a 30 t. it is good too?
ivadavis I think that should work well. 👌
@@LVC_RC OK thank you ! I'll wait to see a test drive of this truck ; )
no motor, esc in stock? ..wow, thats a shame..so thats why its not so expensive
