When Dragonball Super is fully dubbed and released we will have 2 fucking big alternate timelines: one being Dragonball Super and the other one being Dragonball GT.

Your completely right that it make NO sense because obviously Goku defeated the saiyans after the buu saga. You saying this made no sense is arrogant obviously his opinion is different then qaaman's it only makes sense this was his version and a lot of it did make sense so don't judge his time line to qaamans and thinking that qaamans is the official correct one. The only correct timeline would only happen if toriama makes one because it is his series

Geekdom101 Well, I think calling it embarrassing goes to far. Of course the movies never were to fit in any timeline but in my opinion they've done a pretty good job in explaining how the movies could take place. Now you could argue that the main timeline is given by Toriyama and is found in the manga, but the whole timeline discussion as actually very urgent since Super, since Toriyama doesn't have a regular manga following it and first considered BoG and FnF canon and now making them uncanon again. So just referring to the manga wont completely explain the timeline anymore, which is why those discussions are sort of important I would say.

I always saw Fusion Reborn as taking place in a time line where Gohan kills Super Buu and Gotenks isn't absorbed, I know that isn't much different from Gotenks killing him but I honestly doubt the boys could manage it in their time limit.
The only way to connect Broly and Broly 2 is if Goku died for some reason not related to Cell (his illness is back? Or maybe he never had it in that time?). And of course Bojack would be on his own as an alternate timeline post Cell game.

Did u guys notice that in movie 9 bojack unbound trunks knew bojacks name without ever hearing it... if u guys remember the scene where trunks appears in front of bojack and says BOJACK YOU WILL NOT TAKE THIS PLANET and then u watch the rest of the movie u realize that the only person that ever referred bojack as bojack is king kai and goku... even bojacks minions don't say bojack they say OUR LEADER OR OUR MASTER so how does trunks know bojack? Was there possibly a bojack in trunks future or trunks just know?

I always thought that coolers revenge took place during the three year period when trunks warned the z fighters about the androids and when the come, interesting theory...
Super Android 13 had many different senarios to take place
1- trunks timeline (gero's human body died but android 20 body may have put them back to sleep)
2- maybe it was just a prelude to 17 and 18 killing gero, the narrator was just stating that the androids are killing machinea
3- maybe it took place within the 7 days before cell games
Here's what i think happens with Broly and Cell, they beat Cell and think he's dead but really he's in hiding recovering and or planing then comes back and the Cell games event happens more or less like it did in the main time line.

keep in mind that trunks said that the "main timeline androids" are STRONGER than the "mirakai future" androids so MAYBE those androis are JUST as strong as the ones of "history of trunks". makes sense?
I think you have to stop the movie timeline before frieza. And after the frieza fight it branches again along with other major events.
For the Vegeta defeats Semi Perfect Cell, maybe Vegeta and Goku get a rematch and Gohan goes SSJ2.
Surely with the release of battle of gods it would make more sense if all of the movies took place in different universes where for example broly appears instead of the androids

Overall DBZ Kai ONLY focuses on the Canon Material meaning DBZ Movies, DBGT and Fillers no longer exists which also means we should forget about them. Dragon Ball Super is to revise or to fill in the gaps in both Battle Of Gods & Fukkatsu No F leading the fact that GT never existed.
The only 2 specials that are canon are The History of Trunks and DBZ OVA Tarble Special which belongs in the Animated DB Universe. The rest of Bardock's story is non-canon except for the ending hence for the beginning of DBZ Kai. So far there are 2 universes Beerus and Champa but I'm not sure about Future Trunks. Plus Ignore the video games because they just make things look relevant.
With the alternate timeline with the androids maybe they kill Dr gero before he has a chance to activate 17 and 18
if goku takes the antidote on time he wouldnt have let dr. gero release the androids in the first place

my theory is that in the other timeline where vegeta kills cell, 2 things could have happened to goku. 1. the antidote worked but had fatal symptoms and killed goku
2.goku sacrificed his life to save one of the z fighters from cell or
the androids.
I incorporate the non canon movies in with the DBGT show, which may not be accurate, but it works because movie villains appeared in the afterlife of DBGT. I keep DBGT separate from DBZ.
There is one possible scenario in which Broly and Bojack could fit in the way presented: in the canon timeline where Goku is killed by Cell's explosion, Cell had reverted to semi-perfect form. If Vegeta kept fighting him instead of allowing him to reach perfect form, Cell may have activated his self destruct, which would still lead to Goku sacrificing himself if in this timeline he hadn't yet gone into the chamber. This could stimulate Gohan's jump straight into SSJ-2, which would explain why it seemed like he once again needed a trigger speech to do it again fighting Bojack instead of being able to do it at will like when Cell returned as super perfect Cell

what if(and this is a giant what if) the movies were parallels in the timeline cuased by timetravel. Like when towa and mira traveled back in time in xenoverse, and messed up time. So theoretically, could the movies be the parallels that are left alone for too long. Does this Make anysense? Like could this work?

Shouldn't History of Trunks come before Trunks' arrival because he is warning them about the androids implying that he already fought against them plus he can go super saiyan which he was taught by gohan, so gohan died before trunks fought frieza but then he says that only his teacher and him survived the androids his teacher being gohan but gohan died so now I pretty much confused myself and possibly anyone else reading this.

I know this sounds crazy but what if while piccolo was fighting android 17 ;18 decides to jump in of course piccolo gets overwhelm real quick so goku sees this and realize he has to help so he instants down there And evens it out. But android 16 then grabs him says hes detonating. goku realized he cant break grips and doesnt want piccolo to die too so he instants to king ki and that frees bojack.18 17 escapes giving piccolo and gohan a reason to train in time chamber. But for no reason because now thats gokus dead vegeta takes no chances. I didnt take time to think of details and i havent watch that saga in years so dont kill me

I always figured "Cooler's Revenge" was a scenario where Goku came straight back to earth rather than spending the year on yardrat. Which explains why he can't go ssj at will, but still has acess to the form
FierceKicks what do you mean "still has access to the form"? that makes no sense. if he had access to it from before he would have used it a lot earlier.i'm sure he would have had to to at least train to turn into it at will if nothing else before cooler came no this was a first time transformation.
Chris Hall By access to the form i mean that in a do or die situation he is able to turn into a super saiyan (with aid from some intense emotion) similar to gohan's ssj2 transformation in bojack unbound

I think when it said they defeated the androids it meant Gero and 19, then they either just left it alone or found Gero's lab and deactivated 17 and 18 for good.

But in the film 17 and 18 appear killing gero and then we see underground the supercomputer with the rest of androids. the only way this timeline could work in my opinion is by kami fusing with piccolo early and defeating 17 and 18.
Instead of Vegeta defeating Cell, have Cell die when he explodes on King Kai's planet.

I had that in mind too but broly the Legendary ssj should occur before the cell fight thus goku and gohan enter the time chamber first while cell is in second form so when goku battles cell second form cell is dominated by goku so he is forced to blow himself up so goku instant transmissions him the king kais planet causing goku,cell,king kai etc to die but cell appears to be alive then comes back in perfect form but since gohan realises goku dies for nothing he goes ssj2 also 18 and krillin still have a chance and bojack unbound will make sense
Also gohan would defeat cell or bojack unbound would not make any sense so cell being killed by his explosion won't make sense for various reasons 1.gohan was stated to defeating cell in bojack 2.vegeta would have never cared for his family if he didn't see his son die in his face 3.future Trunks timeline would likely have cell stronger since Trunks wouldn't have experienced death

What if Broly-Second Coming took place in a scenario where Vegeta's sacrifice actually managed to defeat Buu?
Both Goku and Vegeta would be dead,making sense of them missing,neither Trunks or Goten knows about Fusion,they're looking for the Dragon Balls (possibly to wish back the people Vegeta/Buu killed) and Gohan is just a regular Super Saiyan.
And Goten wishing for his dad to return could be a hint towards him leaving to the after life after the fight with Buu.

The biggest inconsistency with Bojack Unbound is that Bojack and co. are only there because they were released from King Kai's planet when Cell blew it up. There's no way that could happen if Vegeta kills semi-perfect Cell.
I have a great way to incorporate the movies into the series with as little amount of plotholes as possible. I'll be sure to make a response video.

It could be Gohan OR Gotenks killing Super Buu. Goku and Vegeta were still dead when Gohan came to Earth and laid down the smackdown.
If you remember Trunks went back in time after defeating Cell to say that the future was saved. The way he talked to Bulma before he left also implies that he was probably staying there for a little time so Bojack Unbound causes absolutely no problems in the canon timeline
They made dead zone split because they're implying that Raditz never CAME to earth. So, Goku didn't know about his saiyan heritage, Vegeta and Nappa never came, and they never went to Namek. It literally skipped EVERYTHING, up to the Garlic Jr. arc.

- Dead Zone takes place either in a timeline where Raditz never comes to earth, OR; Piccolo didn't miss Raditz with his first Makankosappo.
- World's Strongest takes place in a timeline where Piccolo didn't die in the fight with the Saiyans.
- Tree of Might takes place in a timeline where nobody died in the fight with the Saiyans.
- Lord Slug takes place either a year after Tree of Might, OR; Takes place in a timeline where Goku kills Frieza with the Spirit Bomb.
- Cooler's Revenge takes place either in a timeline where Trunks never time traveled, OR; takes place canon wise
- Return of Cooler takes place in a timeline where Trunks never returned to the past after giving Goku the vaccine
- Super Android 13 takes place in a timeline where Android 16 doesn't get activated and Piccolo fuses with Kami and destroys the Androids
- Broly Legendary Super Saiyan takes places in a timeline where Vegeta or Trunks destroys semi perfect Cell before he gets Android 18
- Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans takes place a few days or weeks after Broly Legendary Super Saiyan.
- Bojack's Unbound takes place canon wise
- Broly Second Coming takes place in the same timeline as Legendary Super Saiyan 7 years later; Babidi never appears on earth to awaken Buu
- Bio Broly takes place after the tournament in the same timeline as Broly Second Coming
- Fusion Reborn takes place in a timeline where Gohan destroys Super Buu before he absorbs Gotenks and Piccolo
- Wrath of the Dragon takes place either in a timeline where Good Buu gets destroyed with Kid Buu by Goku Spirit Bomb, OR; takes place canon wise.

Everything is summed up very well, really nice theories, but there is a small flaw, if, in the Broly 1st movie, Vegeta / Trunks killed 2nd form Cell, Gohan never reached SSJ2 properly, and in the broly 2nd movie, he turns SSJ2 so easily, since after the Cell saga, in the 7 year time gap, Gohan didn't have time to train since he studied a lot, which makes it difficult to believe that he unlocked SSJ2 in that gap while barely training.
Also, I don't understand what you mean when you say "takes place canon-wise" could you explain that please ?
+HomeRun! Sure, what "cannon-wise" means is the movie could fit in with the main timeline
Example: Cooler's Revenge could fit in with the main timeline because it takes place after goku achieves Super Saiyan and after he defeated frieza and after he got back to earth, also since there's a 3 year gap to the Android arc, "Cooler's Revenge" could actually take place at some point during that gap.

Silly Qaaman. Do you honestly believe Goku of all characters would use the remote control device to destroy the androids? It would be very out of character.
American Truthseeker Well considering the fact that he would have been too weak to make a difference fighting them the only way is through the HTC or the remote device. In Super Android 13 due to gohan's appearance along with trunks and their super saiyan status, it's implied that the didn't go into the htc.

You always have the spirit bomb though and lets be honest Akira Toriyama would probably find a way to write in how Goku and the z fighters beat them, it really isn't that far-fetched.

Remember when Trunks told the Z-Fighters about the androids and Bulma said she could just ask the dragon and make a wish to find Dr. Gero then Goku and Vegeta said that they wanted to fight. I believe that Bulma disobeys and makes a remote and gives it to Krillen. Remember the reason why Krillin didnt destroy android 18 was because she kissed him. In this timeline they're wouldnt be any time period for android 18 to kiss Krillin. I believe that Krillen wouldve used the remote and super android 13 would take place after

One thing to note is that While Trunks getting the Brave Sword from Tapion doesn't connect him to Future Trunks, it does make Wrath of the Dragon's place in the timeline connect to GT, as Trunks, who is the Trunks from the main timeline, does use the Brave Sword in that series

Didn't Super Buu say he was holding back fighting Gotenks because he sensed Gohan and he was having fun fighting them. I think Fusion Reborn takes place in a timeline where Gohan defeated Super Buu because that makes more sense considering Buus statements

If you think, I truly believe that Bojack Unbound fits in as cannon. The fight with Cell got to the point that Goku had to take him to King Kai's planet, and it blew up. It released Bojack from his prison because of that. That is something that seems quite the same from what I see.
None of this movies make sense timeline wise so this video is pointless in my opinion

MetroidLord1 The Broly movies fit. The first one is a bit of a stretch as it takes place during the 10 day waiting period until the Cell Games, The second one takes place before the Martial Arts Tournament in the Buu Saga and the third takes place after the Buu Saga.
I've never seen the problem with Broly, Cooler, and Bojack fitting into the timeline. With cooler you could say Goku just didn't want to go super saiyan until he needed it and in Broly 2nd Coming you can say it takes place during the training period for the tournament

in Bojack Unbound, Bojack was held prisoner by King Kais planet. King Kai explains that goku bringing cell to blow up his planet cause bojack to get free. thus making Bojack have to on the timeline with the cell games.

What blows my mind in that scenario is that nappa, Vegeta, and raditz will most likely be working with freezia until Goku arrives and they see his power, and will stage a 4 sayin coup against Friza and his men

Maybe they went to Namek to explore Piccolo's heritage. It was during the saiyan invasion that he discovered he was an alien. And that aside, he also took care of Gohan by this point.
The other problem, being the biggest problem, with Bojack Unbound being where it was is that Semi Perfect Cell was killed by Vegeta in that timeline. Then how would the events of Bojack Unbound take place? Semi Perfect Cell is the reason Bojack came back because he was trapped inside of King Kai's planet along with his crew and that being said, if Vegeta killed Cell that means Bojack wouldn't have been set free by Cell's explosion because Cell died prior to that.

To explain how the Androids lost to Goku and the others in the Super Android 13 timeline, one must remember that Trunks was very confused as to why the Androids were so much stronger in the DBZ timeline than they were in Trunk's Ruined World (TRW) timeline. The explanation could be that in the TRW timeline, the androids succeeded in their initial coupe and killed Dr Gero earlier (before he became an android himself). Dr Gero in the DBZ timeline was however able to shut them down and make upgrades (as well as Android 16) trying to remove their rebellious behaviour at the same time, but was unsuccessful and resorted to making Android 19, who then helped Dr Gero become an Android. In the Super Android 13 timeline, it follows similarly to the TRW timeline with the exception that Goku and the others manage to get to Gero before he could make those upgrades to 17 and 18, making them similar in power to the ones in TRW timeline and weak enough that Goku would make a big difference in a showdown with them.

I always saw the movies as little "What If" stories akin to the old Marvel comic series. They aren't connected in one universe (with the exception of the Broly movies), rather they are all little one-offs, as in they are the same as the main universe until the period when the movie takes place.
_Wrath of the Dragon doesn't tie in very well with the History of Trunks, due to the fact Goku died of a heart disease and the Androids wreaked habit._
_It ties in better with either the GT or BoG. Yet the sword is nowhere to be found in either. GT is non canon too-_

Maybe someone said this but I think the arrival of Future Trunks caused a singularity in the Z universe that allowed for the Garlic Jr Saga paradox to play out. I think that this ultimately brought Trunks to the attention of the Supreme Kai of Time which then chose an incarnation of the young half saiyan to become Time Partoller Trunks, who as we see in Xenoverse overseeing the many different timelines.
You guys criticized the Bojack Unbound placement because of a Gohan not being a SSJ2 yet. That's not necessarily an issue. It's clearly shown in the movie that Gohan can't just go SSJ2 whenever. He still needs a push. The way he transforms suggests this could be his first transformation in the timeline.

In the movie Turles, Yamcha wears a gi with the kaio symbol at the back meaning he died against the saiyans and ended up at kaio’s planet probably the same for tien and chiaozu meaning Goku arrived to save piccolo in that timeline
The only two movies that fit into the story (apart from Battle of Gods and Resurrection F which are apart of the canon storyline) are Coolers Revenge which is set in the three year gap after Future Trunks killed Frieza and King Cold but before the Androids arrived and Bojack Unbound which is only like a couple of days after the end of the Cell Games.

1. I don't think gotenks defeating super buu makes much sense cause Goku got his life restored about the same time, unless you mean inside the hyperbolic time Chamber.
2. Goku may have defeated 17 and 18 with spirit bomb, but that could be hard to pull off.

Yeah it could fit in a scenario where Gotenks defeated Fat Buu but the only change and contradiction/plot hole I see is Gohan comes back to Earth after Fat Buu's defeat therefore now Mystic Gohan(Change) and Goten and Trunks for some reason don't use the Fusion Dance(Contradiction/Plot hole)

So, the movies take place in an alternate universe? Is that why they contradict the series. I've heard a theory that every time a decision is made, it creates a universe where the opposite decision is made. This would also mean that some of the movies are actually in a universe apart from each other as well as the main timeline.
I always envision Tree of Might , Lord Slug, and Cooler's revenge taking place in the three years before the Androids attack.

Actually the first 2 broly movies are 100% consistent with the main time line. Look at this, Goku and Gohan train for nearly a year in the time chamber and when they emerge Cell calls for the Cell games and gives them 10 days. During these 10 days only filler material was put into place, so it could be that Broly LSS could take place then. Now, second coming would be after the seven year gap, and Goku was killed by Cell and Gohan is a super saiyan 2 and this takes place just before the next tournament. The only inconsistency I can think of for this is why were they hunting the dragon balls? Maybe it was Trunk's idea or Gotens as they were the ones looking, but I digress, it still fits in perfectly, as for Goten saying, I wish dad were here, he could say that because of how highly Gohan and the others speak of him, and maybe they told him that Goku beat Broly before. As for Bio Broly, this movies fits in perfectly but only if Vegeta survives, so I can agree with the timeline they gave for that.
The problem is, during the 10 days gap, Goku and Gohan wanted to stay Super Saiyan until the Cell Games begin and in LSSJ Broly you didn't see them both being Super Saiyans.

You're wrong about Second coming taking place in the seven years for two reason. Gohan knows Videl and Goten can fly. Gohan and Videl met and Goten learned to fly after the 7 years

After watching this video multiple times, I've come up with a few theories of my own. First what if the villians in those three movies after the saiyans were defeated were henchmen of Frieza. In that case maybe Frieza would decide to come to Earth himself to find out what's going on that his henchmen keep getting defeated. But this time he'd come to Earth by himself rather than bringing King Cold with him. This could be how the movies lead up to the battle with Frieza. And if Vegeta was not there during this battle, say he was on another planet still healing or something, then the z fighters would never have found out that Frieza can transform. Which would mean that the spirit bomb would've been bearing down on a first form Frieza rather than a final form, explaining how the spirit bomb was enough to kill Frieza this time around. And that is why Goku does not know super saiyan at the beginning of the Cooler's Revenge movie.
Second, I think the reason Goku taking the medicine early and being there during the fight with the androids impacted them to beat the androids because of instant transmission. I don't see how Goku could not have flown up really high and charged up a very very very powerful Kamehameha, and at the last second instant transmission to right in front of 17 and 18 and blew them away the same way he did to Cell in the Cell Games.
And third, I don't think that anyone defeated Cell before the Cell Games. I think Broly took place during the ten days before the Cell Games and Bojack took place after the Cell Games, explaining why Goku is dead in both Bojack and Broly Second Coming.
Anyway, that's my two cents.
Also, I think that in terms of timelines, there's a split between the Jump Special and Battle of Gods, where in one timeline, Beerus wakes up, and then Battle of Gods, Ressurection F, and Super take place, and in the other timeline, those events don't take place, and GT happens

When it comes to the "Super Android 13" I think that when Goku took the antidote in time he killed 19 and 20 so that 17 and 18 were never activated so they didn't have to be strong enough to fight them cause they didn't have to.

The problem with this list is that it starts to feel crazier the further you go down the line. Considering the ripple effects that would have in between each individual movie storyline, I can't believe the original story would have continued. It is fun to think about these things though. I have tried very hard to figure out which movies I'm okay with watching when it comes to the series in general, but I do think it is important to know that they are basically side stories.

If you ignore Dende, the movie makes sense if it happens right before the Androids 19 and 20 as only Goku saw SS Vegeta, and he had a heart attack during the next time we see Vegeta, so nobody else knows about it. So again, during the 3 year gap.)

He and Bulma sure look young...and no, Future Trunks probably didn't get Tapion's Sword. Most of the time Tapion's/GT Trunks has a golden hilt in GT and video games, while FT's is silver. Interestingly, FT got his sword back in the Bojack movie, fully repaired, after 18 demolished it, so FT in Super might wield the same sword)
