Madam small correction, don't cut the cover Crossley, cut it straightly while pouring any liquid from a cover bend the cover sideways this two tips helps the liquid to pour directly into the jars
Ma'am... You must cut from the top horizontally just as much as you cut now and hold that piece and the left hand bottom corner and pour into the bottle.... It will fall easily without spilling and no mess.....
