Have you figured out how to change the zoom setting via the app? I can easily set pan and tilt but adjusting the zoom is a bit of a mystery.

the way i do it is just pinch my fingers on screen like you would a Photo for eg
but thats only useful on live view if you wanted to focus on a particular area im not sure how
I think there should be a way to lock that in though once you close the app it just goes back to full screen image as far as i know

no this camera requires the lead for Power unfortunately However it is only USB cable so it can be replaced very easily
Are we able to turn off alarm completely? I have ordered online and it's on its way and now am worried its gonna go off all the time as my neighbours door is extreamly close to mine. I bought this kne because it has solar panel and am happy with everything of it. Just not the alarm but as I live in a council estate and don't want to bother anyone.
Yes you can turn the alarm off and make notifications silent that way it still picks up activity when im out but doesnt bother me every min because i have dogs free running the down stairs so i also turn off the alarm feature but have motion activation on

I don't have any footage i can share at the moment but I maybe doing an update Video on these Anran Cameras as i have another now too what i can say is the footage is pretty good at night from them all and there is a spot light to improve it further. its not great at long Distance during the night but for a drive way or side gate etc its absolutely fine I hope that helps answer your question and Have a Great Day !

Hey there, I've got anran cameras. I can see the picture in the preview boxes. But on the main screen, it says encode not support. And there is no picture. Do you know what the problem is? I've messaged the company, and they can't even tell me what the problem is. It seems like the person I was talking to couldn't even tell me what encode not support means.
Hi mate Encode means Converting the signal to a Image or video ! so thats why there is a black screen the device or app isnt converting the data to video there s several reasons this could happen though some being....
Not connected properly, Non compatable device, Faulty, wrong settings, out of date software, updates, and more.
may i ask what device your using ?
as i heard there were issues with cirtain makes or models of device i would have to research it but I would first try a factory reset Including uninstalling and re installing the app incase there was a app permission or something you missed that could block live view if your problem persists feel free to message back and i will try to help if possible

I'm guessing there is a lead I can purchase to extend the leads the Anran comes with.
it does actually include and extention lead for power depending on how long you want it you may need more but its the typical 12v barel type connector most should be compatable but i will try to get the exact size for you

Both same brand of this cctv but i was disappointed coz I set it up at my house and if i open my phone at the office i cannot view mg house anynore
you may have it set up wrong as i can view mine from anywhere in the world my friend you need to be connected to wifi at all times for remote viewing
When on motion record, how long can it record for? :)
It will record 24 7 but As long as your memory card will capture it

and I have it set to re record over the oldest footage and you can access your videos from the app
Cheers how many seconds does it record on the motion only setting?
Each trigger 15 seconds
But if the motion that triggered is present it record while it's there
So for eg
If you trigger it and walk away 15 sec
If you stay in view it will record until you leave view
It might do it several clips but it's all there in alerts

Hi guys. Does this camera have option to record like 24/7 or just recording movements? Does it recording when you press record and close the app? I need camera what can record when there is no movements cuz l have problem with amazon delivery. They dont show up but scan my parcel as deliverd, and camera cant start recording when nobody is there. Hope you understend what l mean
in theory yes my friend it could record 24 hours and yes you can press record in the app problem being its not so reliable in that case as its battery / solar powered and will drain quicker also memory may be an issue
may i suggest a more reliable system in your case a NVR or DVR type set up that can give you round the clock survailance and be backed up if need be although slightly more expensive i think that would be a better solution
@@REALLYRANDOMREVIEW5 every time when start to record if l go out from the app it stops recording. Thats too bad, l need to record only hour or two, when my parcel arriving if lm not home. So l have evidence that nobody was on my door when they scanned that they deliver my parcel. Thank you for your answer
Do you have to have an iPhone
No it works with Android Too tbh i havn't tested with an I phone so im not 100 % sure it works with Apple but it should do im just not cirtain

How can I turn the outside sound off please?
if you open the Camera app as if to View there is a small icon in the bottom left corner to Mute
Or for more advanced Features click the little Gear Icon to enter main settings and there should be a record audio and voice feature you can toggle that on or off too personally i just mute the camera incase i need Audio quickly
