I was there this week on a daytrip and there is so much history and beautiful architecture, and learnt that it's in the intersection where three continents - Europe, Asia and Africa - meet each other.
Rethymno is a fantastic place and probably the nicest town in Crete. Walking in the small streets of the old port is so relaxing. I stayed at Aquila Porto Rethymno and would recommend it if it's in your budget.
The video contents is like watching movie from Hollywood studio. Even the music and the voice that sound like angels from another galaxy. Thanks for great job.
Been there many years ago, one of my key favorite places. Got hammered on Retsina and fell asleep on the beach. Bought a pair of good leather boots made by a local craftsman, wore them for years.
It is great to see what are the prospects of other people about my hometown! As a teenager as I’m growing up I’ve never really thought that rethymno can be THAT fascinating for other people but now I can. Great content with nice details.
WOW, I thank you very much for the time traveling history of Crete, it has opened my eyes to a new place for me. Looking forward to more of your thrilling journeys. Thanks for sharing captain.
Thank you for all the detailed videos you make. They bring the locations to life especially with all the people you interview and the products that you highlight.
Your ability for storytelling and showcasing these cultures in 30 minutes and less is extremely impressive. I feel as though I visited the place after watching your videos
Hi Malini I am on a holiday in Crete at the moment visited the Kourkoulou vineyard yesterday based on your video. It was a great tip and I had a great tour and wine tasting session with the family. Walked away with 6 bottles of Cretan wine which I have to say value for money is spanking. Thanks for the tip and keep up the good work.
I have never seen such a beautiful girl with such charm, taken from the depths of ancient Greece, walking the streets of the beautiful cities, the campuses and the mountains of Crete! You are a real goddess Malini......
What a beautiful video! The good energy of the people you interviewed was palpable. You have a wonderful interview technique. It’s like watching a high quality TV documentary (but better!) thank you for this tour❤❤❤

Eviva. Obvious etymology from Latin vivere, but there is another etymology, ευοί-ευάν , pronounced = evi-evan , an ancient esclamation during festivals of Dionysus (Bacchus) god of wine and tragedy. This esclamation is mentioned in the tragedy Bacches of Euripide.
The grotto with the cross is so beautiful. I see lots of pomegranate trees yum yum. My dear if u have tasted Baklawa from your trip to Lebanon vs Crete, which one did u like best?
I like your videos a lot and it's nice to see you more than anyone else And you're also a very cute woman . I have now booked my Crete vacation after watching your videos .. thank you for your videos and work
i ve watched 10 or 12 of your video this week. at the begining, i ve thought you were natgeo or BBc traveler . i really enjoy to watch and listen all of them and subscribed of course .let me know if you come to costa rica and when please. also this red robe fitted you soooo perfect ❤💯 with ur havaina flip flop as well . lovely
Am I wrong in saying that this woman is drop dead gorgeous? Ok, that makes me wrong - but otherwise, thanks for all the great videos! I'm fascinated with every new place where you shoot content. Perhaps you can do Sicily which is where my great grandfather came from?
@@vickytauf5440 different history no turkish occupation only the northern parts of the island. And not like some parts of Greece for 380 yrs. When the last free bastion of Crete fell it was 1715. Thats 262 yrs after the fall of Constantinopel. Its a part of Greece sinds 1913. The people are more traditional more macho. Very proud people
the Lira artisan is very nice!! i wouldnt have been able to focus on anything else, that skin, that face omg!

UA-cam algorithm brought me here. Wow, this felt like an expensive and beautiful production. Is part of major television studio production? BBC?
Malini! Are you a little shyyy around the Lira-making musical muscleman?? Girl I don't blame you

That lira is just an improved versions of what we see from Pontic originated Turkish folk from Black Sea region.
Greece overall is just beautiful
Travel TV channels can telecast her videos. They are very good

How beautiful is our world 🌍
I love the Cretan liras. How much are they?
They are the soundtrack of Crete :) His liras sell for 1000 euros!!
Great video especially the part of yamas and eviva. People don’t know that Cretans differ from the other Greeks
How do they differ ?
