Me too. Europeans sure do know how to build livable and walkable cities and towns. America is all urban sprawl and centered around the automobile. Our cities are depressing.

Been here ....We were in Crete the end of Sept. 2018.......Crete is such a beautiful island and there is so much to see......You need minimum 1 week to visit the whole island.... Food is very tasty, people are friendly and a busy island even though we visited in late Sept. 2018........In the summer time it's probably absolutely packed..I would love to go back and revisit ..Excellent videography !!!!! ❤💛💜💚💙

You still have time to hike the White Mountains with the Samaria Gorge. You can then take a cheap flight with Ryanair from Chania.
Come next time to Crete and stay a couple of months in my condo (not sure if you’re able to do that). You will enjoy the incredible way of life in Crete. Most of my relatives reach the age of 100!

May to September are the best months. October is still okay but it can start getting cool, especially later in the month like now. Summer is the best, although July and August are the busiest months and also the most expensive. I'd say May, June and September are the best months for Greece.

Gabriel Traveler You've been there for a month. Let say around 3000 USD (100 per day), is that too little. Without plane tickets ofc.

Yes, $100 per day is a good budget for Greece.

ahahaha the way non natives of Greece pronounce the names of Greek towns is hilarious😂 but at least they are trying! (I am Cretan bc my parents are Cretan but I’m born in America lol)

Maybe I spoke too soon about the whole 60fps vs 50fps... The flickering lights in this video could be a result of the European power grid being 50hz(i.e. 50fps) and the video being 60fps, so there's a desynchronisation between them resulting in this.
EDIT: Did some googling, and yeah, this is definitely a thing. So maybe you should stick to 50fps mode in Europe, unless there's no lights around.

Yeah that's definitely the issue, I've come across that as an explanation before. However I don't have the option of shooting at 50fps with the GoPro. It shoots at 30fps and then the next option is 60fps.

You need to change the format from NTSC to PAL then it will shoot at 25 fps and 50 fps.

I see. I think I need to shoot in NTSC for American devices such as editing on my laptop, so I've read. Not certain about that but I think PAL is the standard European setting and NTSC is standard for American cameras and computers. Feel free to disagree.

No. It's only when you display it directly on a PAL TV (50 Hz) (TV OUT) and even then most now can play both standards. So it won't be any kind of problems editing PAL on your laptop.
