The idea that Italian bike are way more expensive to maintain is false... I had 1 panigale 3 aprilias 1 rsv4 and 2 tuonos. The value job on them was $125 more than my gsxr1000. Oil changes were $5.00 more. The only major issue is the wait time on any part that come from Italy
You're a great example of why facts should always trump feelings. Sure anecdotally, your Italian bikes haven't been too much of a hustle but WHOLISTICALLY and across several motorcycle ownerships, they are less reliable than Japanese and often more expensive to maintain. Its just not debatable. Take a look at Consumer Reports or any forums regarding euro bikes. Problems after problems.
@@Dansk55 you can say what u want i have been riding for 40 years .. yes may be less reliable. But the cost for general maintenance is not that much more expensive than a Japanese bike speaking from my experience.. so my "feelings" has nothing to do will my "experiences "
@@Dansk55thank you. I love when the anecdote guys try to dispel all the well known facts and objective observations that have been proven and documented over decades like their single slice of experience trumps everything else
Parts prices alone make the difference. Especially as someone who works on their own stuff. Speciality tools and proprietary software. Italian bikes are a headache. They’re also highly unreliable. Despite this guy having tons of money to throw at a bike so he doesn’t notice, it’s born out by any metric whether it’s stats or aggregate of owner opinions
I have to say I've only bought two used motorcycles and I've had quite a few of them. Both of them were just fine, but I will consider a used one with a very thorough inspection of it by myself. My choice always is brand new that's it! I have to say cyclecruza I wish you would have bought the Yamaha MT-10 that's the one that I'm looking at right now. I would have enjoyed your review on that with all of the knowledge that you have.
I'm with you, I only buy new bikes now. All of the MT line of bikes are great. I'm just not a fan of the MT-10 front and the power is a bit overkill for the streets, it is still a great bike tho. I should test ride one for fun tho. Thanks for being a viewer!
ALWAYS get Pre Purchase inspections. I won’t ever buy a used vehicle even from a dealer without a 3rd party PPI. I’ve been saved tens of thousands of dollars over and over in both cars and bikes thanks to PPI’s. Any owner that has an issue with you getting an inspection before you buy it is someone you don’t want to buy from anyway. I’ve had PPI’s catch bikes that had been tracked and crashed but you couldn’t see it with the new fairings on it, I’ve had a M3 that was supposed to have a expensive part in the engine upgrades that the seller was lying about, I’ve had dealers miss or lie about expensive suspension failure that they didn’t mention. And the number of people that get a a PPI only AFTER they buy…it’s wild. Don’t go to just anyone though ask around for who has a great rep.
💯 Always get used bikes and cars checked before buying, so many people don't. I'll never forget the time I bought a pos used Nissan pick up that turned out to be a rust bucket and the gas tank rusted out and was leaking gas. 🤣 The funny part is I was going to get a pre-inspection and the sales guy convinced me to not get one. Some people have to learn the hard way like I did.
Motorcycles are made for racing smackdowns on the highway or not going to hurt them unless its high-end speeds for long periods of time. As a buyer you should be more concerned about buying a bike that was wheelied.
Just bought my 3rd bike new 23 GSXR 750. My 97 yzf600 thunder cat was junk and had a lot of wiring issues. My 07 zx6r was used it was a great bike really had no issues with it until the fork seals started to go out
I look at the 650IB a few times and the bikes they own are perfectly maintained with a qualified mechanic and I imagine with very few miles. The parts he mounts are of good quality and if he has the invoices I would buy without asking myself any questions. We must not forget that a motorcycle is supposed to be used even at high speed it is planned for.... ✌️
They redline the hell out of their bikes, one engine had to be replaced. Constant redlining is bad for an engine no matter how it is maintained, especially on bikes that are highly modified where the restrictions are removed.
@@CycleCruzaIf the bike is correctly adjusted even by removing the restrictions, I don't see the problem, it doesn't change strictly on the mechanics but requires more frequent maintenance, that's all. On a small displacement you are more often on the redline and I don't see engines breaking permanently. A racing motorcycle is made for racing not for cruising and in racing you are often at full speed, this could be obvious to me. If you're the type to buy a Ferrari to drive at 60mph, you should definitely buy a new bike and drive 2000 miles a year. 😂
@@CycleCruza That was a Ducati that blew ,i don't think he was riding it that fast, like fastlane d cost him 7000 to fix his 1299,ib went thru 2 1199s,then they gave him a 1299 to put in his r model
Scooters are more simple and usually not beat on like sport bikes are. You could be ok buying a used Italian scooter, definitely get it pre-inspected before buying though.
Nice! The #1 issue I run into with used bikes is striped bolts/screws or wiring that has been tampered with. I had that with that used cbr600rr I bought back in the day. However, I stupidly bought it with chinese fairings, had I known what I know now I never would have bought that bike. However, I never had any reliability issues with it.
@CycleCruza I got the bike from a retired soldier who used it for touring. He had an ish load of miles, but his mattence records were mad detailed. I been meaning to ask you, have you ever rode that two wheel Yamaha? Fyi, my next bike is gonna be new. I'm just saving to pay cash. I hate owing people.
Loose battery cables will do that,Aprilia didn't give you any problems after cables were tight,Ive bought used and never had any problems, saved a ton of money.
It wasn't a loose battery cable. I still had an issue with the bike wanting to go into limp mode but it wasn't as bad but I sold it because I did not truth that bike. I might have got a lemon tho, most other people don't have problems with their Aprilia.
@CycleCruza Mines 7yrs old no problems, I do remember you saying the battery cables were loose which would cause that problem, Love your videos, what happened to the new bike situation
I bought a 2019 CB1000-R brand new on sale $10,650 out the door 😎👍 Thanks for this valuable info pal 🤝 I baby it with Motul 7100 ester engine oil, premium ethanol free fuel with K100 fuel additive 👍 I did heat cycle break in and changed oil after first 500 miles. After that I went with bel ray semi synthetic until 6000 miles then I started using Motul 7100 😎 but will never sell it cause it’s my first Love ❤️
As a track rider. I would agree. Dont buy a bike set up for the track if you're only gonna be riding on the street. That being said, track bikes have to pass a pretty thorough tech inspection before every event. So they might look like dog shit on the outside but they're usually safe.
My 2003 Aprilia RSV Mille I bought used with only 1100 miles on it, 2006 KTM 950 SM I got only had 6500 miles on it, my 2003 R1 I bought from the original owner last year had 14k on it lmao, not everyone can afford a “New” bike, if you look around like I do (Craigslist & FB marketplace) you’ll come up on some rare motorcycles that are reliable, I don’t buy bikes from “kids” only from the guys that usually just had a baby or the dude is older and mature basically babying the bike it’s whole life (I’m 26 and can’t afford anything new…) don’t knock used bikes lol that’s all I’ve owned and all I will buy but I’m giving up super sports until the day I can buy a 2021 BMW M1000RR or 2017-2020 RSV4 Factory
In 2014 I bought a used 2001 ZX-9R, I was looking for an easy fix project bike. It was listed for $2000, and had been down once. The tank was dented, front brake lever was broke off, the fairing was scarred, blinker was gone and the windshield was cracked, nothing serious. It started up, sounded great, I grabbed my helmet and took it for a short ride, it ran through the gears smooth, so I said why not. I got back to the kid's house and his father was in the driveway. I got off and he asked what I thought, I told him I would buy it he then asked how much money I had on me, I told him a little over $800, he said sold and wrote me a bill of sale and signed the title over. Turns out he bought it used a month earlier, paid almost twice what he was asking for it, but when the kid dumped it, it scared his mother so bad his parents just wanted it gone.
I bought a cheap zx6r for $3600 but ended up costing $8k. Everything was wrong with that bike, it was definitely tracked. The engine was good, but later I realised it was stolen, the original engine probably blew on the track. I make a video about it call "Lemon ZX6R on my channel"
I have yet to ride a gixxer but nearly bought one as my first sueprsport but got the cbr600rr instead. I have yet to even own a Suzuki, however, you can't go wrong with any of the Japanese bikes.
Do you watch your own videos? The brake issue on the Ducati was on Brembo not Ducati. The Aprilia, as I recall, had loose battery connections which caused a computer glitch which also wouldn't have been a manufacturer warranty claim.
If you have a carbureted bike, you might have to adjust your carbs if you get an exhaust. Otherwise, a tune is not required, but would generally provide better performance.
I only buy new bikes last summer I picked up a ktm 690 smcr absolutely love it! got that low end grunt and sound without going super fast also, great bike in the mountain twisties!
First ,when buying used bikes. Always test ride .If you r first time buyer try to bring a friend who is experienced . If they wont let him test walk away . Take a good long look at the radiator . A radiator can tell you a lot about a bike. If the bike looks new but radiator looks like its been to hell and back 8 times ,its a Fugazi . Also check all plastics ,gauges ,tank and make sure original & correct year . The bike could look mint ,but it still could be a franken -bike . Obviously check ,oil for color ,viscosity ,metal shavings ,& check brake pads ,rotors ,clutch and end of pipe for carbon, oil sludge. However one of most important things when buying a used bike is to analyze the seller. Better to buy a used from a squid who bought ,got scared and sold. Don't buy in the hood !!!!!!!!!!!!!!Never buy salvage title !!!!! never buy from a stunter who converted bike back to stock looking !!!! Engine was at rev limit for a million hours !The older the owner usually the better .Try to look in Suburbs w/ High income zip codes. Check Vin with DOT, police ,make sure not stolen . Buying a used bike is like a box of chocolates. You never know what your gonna end up with . And dont buy a Gixxer !!!! If they didnt wreck it it got raped every day ,& if squid sold it after a month frame is prolly bent . The K5 and K6's were the best IMO but they're really old now. I cant stand all the idiot proof crap on modern bikes .
Never buy a sport bike that has neons on it. Look for the 50 year old guy that loves to wrench. My nephew bought a CBR that looks like a tank drove over it. Young guy that knows everything.
I find it extremely difficult to buy a used European motorcycle like Ducati, MV Agusta, KTM, Aprilla, Triumph, BMW etc. They have the best performance and in my opinion the best looks but they simply cannot be trusted in terms of reliability.
You are just listing the bikes i own or have owned lol. Benelli Zafferano bought new still have. Basically bulletproof. Speedo broke at 5000 miles didnt fix. Probably 12k miles by now. Had a Tao Tao thunder chinese scooter bought nee forgot. Small easy fixes in beginning than served very well got over 5k miles on before sold still working. Most recent used Zero S bought. Took for a firmware update it went nuts. Zero replaced battery and bms. Admittedly not my favorite hoping when i get tires makes huge difference. Think they are original. I think im learning dont like pirelli tires unless perfect conditions outside.
Pirelli Angel GT tires are awesome ( i had them on my cbr1000rr and they last a long time and grip well) : cyclecruza.com/7wad If you are good with a wrench you can get by with Chinese motorcycles and scooters, parts are pretty cheap and available online BUT they are not the best quality. I definitely would never buy a used Chinese bike. Thanks for sharing your insight.
@@CycleCruza ya my tao in beginning spark plug coil would pop out. pop in good to go. belt broke at 6k kilometers. than an intake gasket got a crack. Had a friend help me with everything. im an idiot lol. I will totally agree jumping back and forth between bikes could tell a huge difference in build quality. I don't know how i rode the tao so long. Benelli felt a lot better. When i had my Tmax and jumped on that felt a lot better than benelli.
@@CycleCruza my tmax had pirelli diablo corsa scooter tires. bald when got replaced. Had soooo much confidence on that scooter but could tell grip felt worse when cold or wet. My Zero has i want to say pirelli scorpion. Not really happy with the handling. Its ok but, hoping a tire change, maybe suspension tune will make a huge difference. I think they are really hard little slick. And i am not and advocate of knee dragging i think it is stupid un needed flair showing off trying to be closer to ground when you fall. I'll still try to be in a good position just not trying to reach my knee to ground for no reason. see vids of people or a main youtuber "cough" bike is barely leaned. Heard a lot of good of road 6 tires.
To be fair, Italian bikes, much like Italian cars are beautiful and sooo good when they work. But it’s just that: WHEN they work. The Italian moto Gods shine upon thee, you enjoy it while you can, because tomorrow they may bring darkness. 😂
I never buy used anything - because I don't know what the previous owner did. Sure, I end up spending way more money buying new, but I've never had a single problem because I know what's done to it and I know the maintenance is done. This applies to both bikes and cars.
Some used bikes are close in price to new bikes, actually, when I bought my cbr1000rr, some of the used bikes were selling for more the cost of new. I only paid 9k OTD for a left over new cbr1000rr at the time. Used ones were selling for 9k+. As far as cars, I rarely buy new, instead, I will buy a car off of lease because they have to take care of the car with a lease and I usually get a great car. However, I have had the same suv since 2007 and still love my Lexus, zero issues and still drives like new.
@@CycleCruza very true. I see people posting their bikes for sale in groups asking for more than what the MSRP is. Crazy. Buying leased cars is definitely not a bad idea, same with fleet vehicles as the maintenance is done on a scheduled basis and typically handled by dealerships. Stay safe out there and keep up the great content 🤙🏍️
Say man "track" bikes are usually salvage or reconditioned titles. This is what you stay away from. Reason number 1... salvage.. you need to fix problems, and take to state police to ok it to get reconditioned title. Second problem.... reconditioned title are pretty hard to sell, and people value them very very cheap.
We are good up here in NE Ohio, that train wreck happened about an hour and a half SE in East Palestine Ohio, lucky for us the wind blows from North to South East so we did not have deal with that bs. I 🙏🏼 for them down there.
Good Day fellow bikers and or biker's to be!, I am a young vibrant Motorcycle Sales Executive based in South Africa and wish to better my sales skills, experience & passion abroad.. Question: Which Dynamic Reputable Motorcycle Dealership in which Country would you guys/gals recommend I apply for a job and why?
Nobody knows about that bike in the states 😂 that’s a bmw exclusive! My #1 bike to ride whenever I go to Europe! Shit I’ll even buy one out there if the price is good
Hi cyclecruza! Do you think it’s a good idea to buy a pre owned 2021 mt-07 with 1500 miles for 7600? A 2022 with 3 miles is about 8100. Want to know your thoughts…
Save the the 500 bucks for an exhaust for the 2021 model, 1500 miles is nothing. The bike is only worn in by now. So you shouldn’t be too concerned. Both are great options tho
Ive never been in a position to buy new. I've had around 20 bikes in the last 7 years and only 1 bike ever had an issue that wasn't fixable with an afternoon and a hundred bucks.
@@Motogreets Not at all actually. My family is poor. Lol Started working at 16 on my birthday. I’m the first person to graduate from college in my family. I’m a system engineer now. I worked extremely hard for what I have. I’m 25 years old ATM. I earned it. Nice try though haha
@@sendysent It is a dickmove to say it was a joke but I respect hard work ma dude. Much love to you! Its tough tho. I want a decent bike but It looks like working hard does not always allow me personally to buy the stuff I want. I am blessed with what I have and I will not complain.
You can buy anything used, just take the bike to a knowledgeable and honest mechanic for a check before sealing the deal. Track bikes are generally a lot cheaper than street legal bikes and you can find SUPER good deals, because many track bikes tend to sit in garages for years with little to zero riding.
Maybe a stupid question. But how would I thoroughly check a bike that is sitting in the occasion / dealer (secondhand) other than testriding it. Nice video bro. Learning a lot from you. I am looking for a CBR1000rr or a CBR900 for my second bike. Any advise other then 08 consuming oil and the other mainstream info out there?
What I do is have the seller take it to the dealer for inspection. If you are buying from the dealer and they won't let you take it to a mechanic you are taking a risk. See if they offer at least a 30 day warranty, if not then you are taking a risk. Sport bikes often get beat on. Avoid a 2008 cbr1000rr, many had oil consumption issues like you mentioned, try to stick with a 2010 or newer. I had no issues with that 2012 cbr1000rr I had, extremely reliable and great bike.
@@CycleCruza Hello sir good day to you btw regarding with the abuse or maybe old bikes how about 2008- gen 2 hayabusa sir? Do you have any ideas on this big and heavy motorcycle? I have read and watch some reviews that sports cruisers or cruisers like busas are consider to be one of the most reliable motorcycle out there not to mention some of it slap turbos on and still keeps running? Any thoughts or experience do you mind sharing us with... Thanks sir and ride safe always ✌️
The ONLY way I'd buy a used bike is if it was bulletproof JDM reliable. If it's over 2 or 3 years old I'd only go for a Yamaha, Honda or Kawasaki. If it's a discontinued platform like the Triumph Daytona then it better be in great condition with full service history.
I've only bought one used Japanese bike, the cbr600rr, and I had no reliability issues but there were a few stripped bolts which sucks dealing with, that is a big reason I try to only buy new these days.
I wont buy a used bike, ive known way too many people that have had issues with buying used bikes. My folks have a neighbour with a older Tesla, battery went out in it and its going to cost them 25 grand to replace the battery
Also, used bikes prices are sometimes not to far off from new bike prices. Actually, when I bought my left-over new 2012 cbr1000rr, used bikes were selling for more than what I paid for mine new. I only paid $8k new and used ones were selling for 9k+. When you buy new you know what you are getting.
I definitely disagree with some of your points. Today's bikes are made better and are more durable. Most people take better care of their bikes than their cars. I never had an issue with any European bikes. However with my favorite brand Honda I had issues that nobody could figure out including two dealerships and the bike was new. So, there is that :)
Sport bikes 750cc or smaller. WHY? Because kids destroy these bikes. Mostly with bad mods and wrecks. Also they are usually not well maintained. If you get one, you better be prepared to work on it. Chinese/entry level bikes like Rebel 250s, Lifan, Groms, etc..... are bad choices to buy used. If you are short on money, and you are looking for a ride able used bike out of the box, either buy a liter bike, 700cc or larger cruiser bike, (sport) touring bike or an ADV bike IMO. These bikes usually belong to people who have more money and take better care of their stuff. My suggestions come from just buying a lot of bikes over the years. When I buy a used bike, no matter what type/brand, I plan on dumping money into it to bring the maintenance up to date. Last time I bought a ZX6R, I had to dump $1500 into it just to make it ride able. This is fine if you want to deal with it. But the kid who had it before me tore it up pretty bad. I rebuilt a CBR954RR. Got the bike for $2000 and dumped another $2000 into it. Bought another one I gave away before I finished it. All in all if you are in the game to ride, get a new bike if you can. Especially if you want a Sport(Naked) Bike. Otherwise plan on doing some work on it.
Yeah used bikes are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. 😂 The #1 issue I hate with some used bikes is dealing with stripped bolts/screws and altered stock wiring. Like you said the smaller bikes noobs have probably beat on them. I'd just rather start fresh and get a nw bike. Thanks for sharing your insight!
@@Motogreets As long as the compression on the engine is good and the brakes work, go for it!!! That engine is not even broken in yet if it was well maintained!!! Not a lot you can do to that bike to trash it. Alot of aftermarket support for it, etc.... So if you need to some work on it, it is a good risk. Warning, it has NO rider aids. No ABS, Traction Control, etc..... It is a pretty comfortable and tame bike. I used to do 300+ mile days on it. But it can get away from you if you are not paying attention. It feels like riding a 600cc but do not be fooled. If it is stock, do not pay attention to the performance numbers. they mean nothing on this bike....LOL Have fun!!!!
I know I am Lucky. I can say I will NEVER buy a bike from Morimoto again. I knew the bike prior to buying it. But they sold me a bike with a blown fork seal and completely trashed tires. I let them. I knew what needed fixing. They lied right to my face. Said it wasn't a track bike, and the tires are just slicks. lol Crap bags FU St Pete Morimoto!
It still sucks dealing with stripped bolts/screws and altered wiring no matter how mechanically inclined you are. The #1 reason I avoid used bikes because of those reasons. Also, you can't tell how worn the engine is unless you take it apart. if the engine turns out to be bad that is an expensive replacement.
@CycleCruza Go ahead and start reviewing bikes man. You have the personality for it and you never know, you might review a bike that you thought you'd never like... Or are you afraid you'll end up buying more bikes from doing test rides. 🤣😂
i was riding my motorcycle in winter . However, after watching youtube videos , they said the salt destroys your bike? Is this true? I just spent 1 hour cleaning my bike off. and polishing it now.
So you're saying is if you're poor don't buy expensive bikes. Hahahha just do some research on the bike and get a good test ride, maybe even a couple hours with the bike. Any used bike can have problems, shoot even new model bikes can come with their problems, sometimes after warranties run out
The great Battery Electric Vehicle lie 😂 People think all they pay for is electricity to recharge and think it’s cheaper than buying fuel. Now everyone is getting stung with battery replacements and at most you get nearly 100k on a Tesla battery before it’s shot to hell. A lot less on Mototcycle batteries. Battery vehicles replaces one fuel (gasoline) with two separate fuel costs (electricity + battery replacements). Once you factor in the costs for battery replacements and the electricity to charge them battery vehicles cost so much more than fuel vehicles to own and drive. Folks are easily getting over 400k miles on their Japanese cars, 4 times $25 grand for Tesla batteries is $100,000 to replace batteries and you still have not paid for all that electricity to charge the batteries. One day the great sleeping masses will wake up to the great battery electric vehicle lie. It’s not the future, it will not save the planet, it exploits poor, puts children’s lives at risk to mine materials and it costs so much more energy to build than fuel vehicles. I don’t know what the future is but I do know battery is a lie. With all the batter costs and electricity costs I calculated a Tesla as getting the equivalent of 4 mpg miles per gallon in money spent on it over its lifetime.
You should buy a bike because you love it,screw the reliability, otherwise you end up with some soul less bike you bought because it doesnt have problems.who goes shopping for the most reliable bike??and not everyones minted and can afford new,get it from a dealer, you've got some backup then!

General maintenance is the same but the Italians break down more often requiring additional repairs so cost of ownerships is more expensive
I've been burnt pretty bad buying a bike that had stickers on the aluminum frame. I pressure washed them off an the sticker was hiding a crack
Thank you
💯 Always get used bikes and cars checked before buying, so many people don't.
Was a pos Ducati that blew,
@CycleCruza not to mention the aggressive tunes some of those street racers put on them.
@@CycleCruza That was a Ducati that blew ,i don't think he was riding it that fast, like fastlane d cost him 7000 to fix his 1299,ib went thru 2 1199s,then they gave him a 1299 to put in his r model
Should be a good watch. Only my Benelli Zafferano scooter was new in 2018. Others have all been used. All but one financed.
Scooters are more simple and usually not beat on like sport bikes are. You could be ok buying a used Italian scooter, definitely get it pre-inspected before buying though.
@@CycleCruza maybe more reliable. I don't know if i would say simpler. You have to take the whole thing apart to do anything lol.
What's up, Cruza? Hope all is well. I got two ninjas, 650r and a 636, and never had any problem.
Oops ! I just bought a new 2021 Guzzi V7 . 2 years manufacture warranty . I'm hoping it all goes OK. Thx for your videos
Congrats! I wish you the best of luck with your new bike.
Nice bike! I never do a break in anymore, just vary the RPMs. However, I don't redline my bikes or race them.
As a track rider. I would agree. Dont buy a bike set up for the track if you're only gonna be riding on the street. That being said, track bikes have to pass a pretty thorough tech inspection before every event. So they might look like dog shit on the outside but they're usually safe.
100% true,true,true. I from Cleveland too,this chanel is amazing, congratulations 👏
You know how you get a nail in a tire and you patch it or change it?
Is that the same for a motorcycle? Or do you HAVE TO take it in to get serviced?
Key point - just have it inspected. For ANY used bike
XD the fact the kid started on a zx9......says a lot XD
THANK YOU for your knowledge and wisdom Cycle Cruza! ✅
So only buy Italian or Chinese track bikes only? What about Italian bikes with Chinese parts?
I bought a cheap zx6r for $3600 but ended up costing $8k. Everything was wrong with that bike, it was definitely tracked. The engine was good, but later I realised it was stolen, the original engine probably blew on the track. I make a video about it call "Lemon ZX6R on my channel"
BTW I have never owned any Gixxer . I rode a 750 once & 600 once . Only owned 2 Suzukis. RM80 ,& 78' GS550E. Great bikes.
I have yet to ride a gixxer but nearly bought one as my first sueprsport but got the cbr600rr instead. I have yet to even own a Suzuki, however, you can't go wrong with any of the Japanese bikes.
Bought a used (300mi) Aprilia rs660. No issues after 2 years.
Nice! Good to see you had better luck than I did with a used Aprilia.
Do you watch your own videos? The brake issue on the Ducati was on Brembo not Ducati. The Aprilia, as I recall, had loose battery connections which caused a computer glitch which also wouldn't have been a manufacturer warranty claim.
Exactly.
He will not understand that.
Ok dumb question do I have to tune my bike to get an exhaust?
If you have a carbureted bike, you might have to adjust your carbs if you get an exhaust.
Otherwise, a tune is not required, but would generally provide better performance.
NOT gonna lie to you cycla cruza that MT-07 sounding PROPER
I get your point, however, I only like bikes nearly 40 yrs old! Pretty difficult to find something NEW at 40+yrs old.
I never messed with the vintage bikes, it can be difficult getting parts.
I only buy new bikes last summer I picked up a ktm 690 smcr absolutely love it! got that low end grunt and sound without going super fast also, great bike in the mountain twisties!
Nice bike! Supermoto life is the best and vert addictive.
have a 2011 hypermotard 796 have had it 5 years. No problems.
That grunt, nice.
I really enjoy your videos, your down to earth and pretty cool guy,thx man✌😎💪🇺🇸
Thanks for viewing! I appreciate it.
I bought honda cbr 600 1994 and drive it for many years with no problem
I find it extremely difficult to buy a used European motorcycle like Ducati, MV Agusta, KTM, Aprilla, Triumph, BMW etc. They have the best performance and in my opinion the best looks but they simply cannot be trusted in terms of reliability.
That's interesting. I trust them 100%.
I had many bikes and only one I had issues with that two Honda dealers couldn't fix was my 2014 CBR1000RR.
Guzzi's tend to be ok if you make sure top to toe it's sound. The wiring isn't always great but reliable bikes.
Pirelli Angel GT tires are awesome ( i had them on my cbr1000rr and they last a long time and grip well) : cyclecruza.com/7wad
If you are good with a wrench you can get by with Chinese motorcycles and scooters, parts are pretty cheap and available online BUT they are not the best quality.
I trust in CycleCruza he is 👊☝️🙏💫💯%correct neva neva neva 😅
Hey good to see you! O hope all is blessed your way.
@@CycleCruza I'm at Daytona Bike Week ✌️live
Say man "track" bikes are usually salvage or reconditioned titles. This is what you stay away from.
Reason number 1... salvage.. you need to fix problems, and take to state police to ok it to get reconditioned title. Second problem.... reconditioned title are pretty hard to sell, and people value them very very cheap.
Hey man, how you doin' up there in Ohio, with all of that TOXIC smoke and pollution coming out of everywhere?
We are good up here in NE Ohio, that train wreck happened about an hour and a half SE in East Palestine Ohio, lucky for us the wind blows from North to South East so we did not have deal with that bs. I 🙏🏼 for them down there.
Man Cycle Cruza your bike sounds like a Boss
Hey CC, you ever get that WR450R stator in your YZ?
lol It is still sitting in the box. I need to do that already. Thanks for for reminding me!

Exactly my thoughts! Thanks Oliver
What do you think of cf moto I was looking into getting one of those bikes
Cheap stick to the big 4s
I’ll never buy used. Ive owned 3 so far. All new. Zero issues.
After having issues with that Tuono I haven't bought a used bike since.
Ive never been in a position to buy new. I've had around 20 bikes in the last 7 years and only 1 bike ever had an issue that wasn't fixable with an afternoon and a hundred bucks.
Rich person you are. Haha
And track bikes are ridden hard and crashed, they are the worst bikes to buy used but you can often get a deal but you could be dealing with issues.
@@CycleCruza Thanks ma dude. I cant find the video but when did you stop riding the cbr and why?
Tell us what you think of the Honda Rebel, even if you take it for a ride

The new Rebels are nice. You can never go wrong with a Honda.
Cycle cruiser 650IB
I wont buy a used bike, ive known way too many people that have had issues with buying used bikes. My folks have a neighbour with a older Tesla, battery went out in it and its going to cost them 25 grand to replace the battery
Also, used bikes prices are sometimes not to far off from new bike prices. Actually, when I bought my left-over new 2012 cbr1000rr, used bikes were selling for more than what I paid for mine new. I only paid $8k new and used ones were selling for 9k+. When you buy new you know what you are getting.
So you are talking about 650ib I see
I definitely disagree with some of your points.
Would you recommend a good looking 47k km 954rr 2002?
@@Motogreets As long as the compression on the engine is good and the brakes work, go for it!!! That engine is not even broken in yet if it was well maintained!!! Not a lot you can do to that bike to trash it. Alot of aftermarket support for it, etc.... So if you need to some work on it, it is a good risk.
Warning, it has NO rider aids. No ABS, Traction Control, etc..... It is a pretty comfortable and tame bike. I used to do 300+ mile days on it. But it can get away from you if you are not paying attention. It feels like riding a 600cc but do not be fooled. If it is stock, do not pay attention to the performance numbers. they mean nothing on this bike....LOL
Have fun!!!!
My 750 was a track bike. it has yet to fail me.
Only people who don’t work on there bikes and are not mechanically inclined buy new
It still sucks dealing with stripped bolts/screws and altered wiring no matter how mechanically inclined you are. The #1 reason I avoid used bikes because of those reasons. Also, you can't tell how worn the engine is unless you take it apart. if the engine turns out to be bad that is an expensive replacement.
By extension, if you should never buy them used, you should also never buy them NEW!
Same goes with cars.
650ib got called out 😂
@CycleCruza Go ahead and start reviewing bikes man. You have the personality for it and you never know, you might review a bike that you thought you'd never like... Or are you afraid you'll end up buying more bikes from doing test rides. 🤣😂
Mt07 ,gsxs 750 2022 my ponnys
What what up my good man hope you doing well 🙏❤️🙏
Cyclecruza that Aprilia was awesome and it ran great all the time. That one issue was a joke. Why are you still trolling that awesome bike ?
i was riding my motorcycle in winter . However, after watching youtube videos , they said the salt destroys your bike? Is this true? I just spent 1 hour cleaning my bike off. and polishing it now.
Grow a pair , I’m riding my 2011 Diavel. Still screams & rides like a bullet.
It's the motorcycle dunkey.
650ib reference I see lol
So you're saying is if you're poor don't buy expensive bikes. Hahahha just do some research on the bike and get a good test ride, maybe even a couple hours with the bike. Any used bike can have problems, shoot even new model bikes can come with their problems, sometimes after warranties run out
Would never buy a used sportbike.
I can t tell you young guys a type of bike not to buy used. Any Gixxer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially in Miami !!!!!!!!!
Oohhhhh 😂😂 650ib!! Lol 😆
First in the cut Again 😎🏍 on my Yamaha Davidson 😆
Nope. 2 minutes after me. 1 other guy ahead of you.
Vroom vroom!! 🏍
The great Battery Electric Vehicle lie 😂
People think all they pay for is electricity to recharge and think it’s cheaper than buying fuel.
It's all a lie and propaganda with electric vehicles
Who cares if your bike has X amount of torque or x amount of whatever. If it's not reliable, it's worthless
That is true. It really sucks being stranded on the side of the road. I've seen far too many Harleys on the side of the road.
Yeah it sounds good, haha, nice.
Don’t buy old gsxr 600 08
I would buy 650ib bikes.
ok cool i'm gonna buy these bikes lol
You should buy a bike because you love it,screw the reliability, otherwise you end up with some soul less bike you bought because it doesnt have problems.who goes shopping for the most reliable bike??and not everyones minted and can afford new,get it from a dealer, you've got some backup then!
First comment. See this doesn't mean a damn thing.
Nah just after me. Almost though. Agreed it doesn’t mean squat which is why I don’t mention it or ever say “first”
Haha H2 junk
Never buy GM
Never buy Any bike with a stunt cage or with the letters GSXR in the name. Rev bombs and dank woolies straight to clapped-out-vile. No thanks.
