As a very happy FZ6 owner I agree with you. 48 Years of riding from a lot of road-trail, enduro, MX and street bikes I'm happy to ride pretty much anything. My smallest one was after a hiatus - a CBR125S which I rung the neck out of (Previous bike was a "warm" FJ1200) up to the 1340 Harley. For nice handling, and being surprisingly quick for it's capacity the FZ6 convinced me that I didn't need to go larger engine size. I'm happy with it for commuting or Country jaunts. It really is a good all-rounder.

I bought a '06 VFR800 ABS with 12k miles a year ago for $4700. It was a total bargain for a basically brand new bike. I couldn't be happier with it and i couldn't imagine having anythis else. It took the place of my '97 Bandit 600 which I'm about to list for ~$1500 and is going to give someone else some cheap reliable good times.
[stares in gear-driven cams]…jokes aside, the fifth and sixth Gen VFRs are just…they do everything. Avoid the early VTEC models, pay attention to the voltage rectifier thing, and be happy. I’ve only put about 45000 km on my 1999 in the last three years.
He mentioned the Yamaha FZ6, but surprisingly didn’t say anything about the FZ1. Both have a factory standard centre stand, comfortable riding position, decent wind protection and will do it all unless you want to go off road.
I'm 30 years old now. I just startet riding this year, and I bought a fz6 from 2004. It gives me everything that I ever imagined about riding motorcycles. I'm looking forward to exploring other bikes in the future as well. But so far, I'm very happy with my fz6! My father is also riding, I remember the first bike I sat on, my father's Suzuki Bandit. I was 5 years old. That's where my interest for bikes started.
I mean i think the v-strom 650 is a damn good option considering absolutely insane reliability, fuel injection from the very beginning, and can do some off road stuff as well
I have the '05 as the '04 has carburetors, I waited for the '05 and bought mine new on on 12/31/2004. I didn't want the '04. at about 50,000 miles the linage wore out from one throttle body to the other, was on back order when mine was giving a cylinder out at idle. we put a spring over that link just like used on a lawnmower governor and that fixed the slop and it stays synched and runs smooth and powerful as new. I got the new links and haven't even thought about putting them on. It goes as fast as I want to go even though I'm fixing a bandit 1200, the weigh and the power is more than I want. riding position is too long armed for me.
V-Strom is always the answer (even when there's no question). Only the "unique" brigade thumb their noses at them. Rightly coined the "@$$hole bike", 'cause everybody's got one!
Awesome video. Keep these ones coming. Every reviewer is reviewing new(ish) bikes. Tons of people just starting to ride who are older or larger or who aren't sure if riding is for them will appreciate the older, cheaper, larger bikes that have held up to the test of time. For example, I truly believe my 03 yamaha royal star venture that I picked up 6 months ago for $2500 is more comfortable than the likes of a newer goldwing or any other newer BIG touring machine. Also my other bike being an 06 vstrom 1000 with 105,000 on the odometer has never let me down even with non regular maintenance and I bought thay bike used for $3500
As an owner of a ninja 300 for 4 years, I clearly am happy with the bike. Cheap, fun, comfortable, and tougher than people think. Looks like a bigger bike too. Just fantastic. Put almost 20k miles on her.
That's how I feel about my 650. I have some complaints but it's a fun bike and performs above what I need it to do. I COULD get a bigger bike, but I wouldn't be riding it outside of what the 650 does anyway so why spend the extra money. Plus since it looks like a super sport to people that don't know it definitely seems like cops don't even bother unless I'm doing something really stupid
Been riding my 04 Z1k for 13 years now. It has a few little quirks like the transmission can be a bit clunky sometimes but styling wise it looks like a bike much newer than it is, its got a lot of power, and its very easy to work on. At this point you usually won’t spend more than 3k to get a hold of a decent one. I finally went full Akrapovic last year. Dyno’d just shy of 145hp. 😄
The first year for fuel injection on the SV650 was 2003. However, 2003 was an odd year with a different seat and sub frame than the 2004 and up gen 2s. Also I owned a 2009 FZ6 and it would hit the kickstand hard on left hand turns, so be very careful if you're taking one to the track or a tight twisty road.
I have the 2004 fz6...what a high at 8 to 10000 rpm..nothing beats that thrill..only need the first two gears to keep it somewhat legal..75k miles and never touched the valve lash or much else..1000 mile days at my 65 yrs no problem..ride it forever 😊
The Honda VTR Firestorm/Superhawk needs an honorable mention .Yes im bias and Yes its got carbs.. but the joy it brings for a quarter of the price of a RC 51 ...Awesome Bike !!
I buy Vmax 1200 1988, 23 years ago, had equivalent of 87,000miles , nothing ever went bad, just consumables, engine was still good for more but 2 years ago I find certified 1200 engine with just 7,000 of your miles & fitted in, bomb proof engines 😊
Picked up an 07 sv650s last year as my first bike and it's been awesome so far. Definitely a great beginner bike that I'm looking to turn into more of a track bike in the future.
I have a Concours 14 2009. Purchased it a month ago and I'm in love with it. The gear shifter is a bit hard and I'm affraid of it having to do with the clutch but the exprience of riding this thing is so great 🥰 Traveling soon on it. Wish me luck ✌️
Add a shouldabeen flash and prepared to be amazed. I didn’t believe the bike needed improvement or could be improved but I gave in and got the flash. Ridability focused, flat torque curve from hell. Tooooo cool. Only down side is valve adjustment. First step….disassemble motorcycle.
Put an automatic clutch in it. they make them for every bike their is except some harleys. idling just pop it in gear and turn the throttle, let off to shift. Use the hand clutch if you desire as it still works like normal. Like rev it up in gear. they can be adjusted to how quickly they engage. set too high they will freewheel slowing down that can bother you as under a certain rpm you can set the clutch is disengaged speeding up and slowing down. It'll take off in a higher gear just wears n the clutch more. they are used in dirt bikes most often.
My 2009 Concours 1400 never disappoints, even after 155,000 smiling miles. It only has had normal wear items replaced and gets 50 mpg on trips. I'm never parting with it, still looks new.
I'm glad someone finally talked about the bandit 1200s. It's my first bike and love it With all my heart. It's got a stage 3 carb kit. carbon fiber slip-on and bigger rear sprocket. 171 mph on the GPS. Not bad for $3300
I have its actual sport touring brother, picked up an 09 Versys 650 for cheap in 2017. Not fast, but rock solid reliable, fairly comfy (bars and pegs are a little vibey as it's a 1st gen 650R motor), and has incredible handling for a 650 class bike
Yup Fz6 is a gem. I own a Fzs600 from 2002, and I love it. If you take care of it it just keeps going 😊😊 And it sound super cool even with the stock exhaust😍
A quick tip about the SV650 - do not get a Gladius [as mentioned]. The Gladius is a great ride but appallingly made and will rust or snap at the drop of a hat. Oh, and if the numberplate light bulb goes be prepared to completely strip the rear of the bike. A lot of bikes here are faired, for nakeds have a look at the Honda CB500 or Hornet 900 [919 in the states] for bikes that will easily go round the clock and are easy to work on.
Rode a 2000 Kawi concours zg1000 for years and it was perfect(a little small for me but made it work) loved it so much that after I sold it (moved)..found an 06 (the last year of zg1000) 30k miles for barely over 2 grand. Still ride it. Great pick up, great at high speeds..perfect for camping..etc..Amazing bike for the money.
I put over 22,000 miles on mine in the summer of 2019, tent camping all the way. A total of 34 states and 4 Canadian Provinces. Best summer ever, for me.
Love mine as well… but it just hydrolocked for the second time, and I have to tear down the engine, AGAIN. The “down hill” design from tank to intake manifold is bad… a small fuel leak, stuck carb float and a while sitting in the garage… and BANG… another bent con-rod. Also let’s face it folks, that bike is a PIG at parking lot speeds! [but great once cooking down the road]
Fz1 second gen 06-15 before they switched to mt. Went from a seca to a fzr600 to a fz6 and now I love the fz1. Tons of power good ergos and is a old man r1.
98-05 Kawasaki zrx1100 and 1200r. Indestructible torque filled engines. Reliable to a fault. I've had my box stock 05 for 19 years and have never had the carbs touched. Runs out as smoothly as any fuel injected bike I've owned. Basic maintenance and non-ethanol fuel and they run forever. They can be had for good prices.
Having a carbureted bike, doesn't "suck". It's amazing. It's raw, you listen to it breathe. I enjoy most of your videos, but this was kind of disappointing.
Nice video. I have a 98 Concorse 1000. July will be five years of daily riding. The best $1100 I ever spent. She just needed a few light maintenance things. Almost 80k miles and going to need a clutch soon.
as someone who just rebuilt the carbs on her 2001 SV650, I can assure you that they were still carbureted in 2001 - the 2nd gen with EFI didn't come out until the 2003 model year
I own an FZ6N great reliable bike for commuting and ripping the mountain roads at the weekend. Would recommend it to anyone. Just maintain it, and it will give you all the fun you need.
I have a CBR 600 F4i for 2 years know, i love it so much, it's fast, it's great on the twisties and catualy has a lot of space under the seat (if you have the long seat and not the split tha comes with the F4i sport) and you get a center stand from the factory!
I had a ninja 300 (v.2014) for 2 years as my first riding experience. Such a lovely bike, well manufactured, punchy with low fuel consumption. Japan know how to build bikes for sure ! 👌
I have a Yamaha FZS1000 2005, I really thought it would get a mention..... Hell of a thrill to ride, 143 BHP, 163 MPH......goes like stink when you want it to....👌😁
If you don't mind carbs, Kawasaki ZXR1200 & ZZR1200 are great! So, are the 2005 to 2008 ZZR600 and the Honda VFR800 Interceptor. My friend has that Bandit and SHE FRIGGIN LOVES IT
First bike was a mid 80s Nighthawk S, then quit riding for a while. Got an sv650 and later a 07 Bandit 1250abs. One I would add is probably the VTR 1000f, also know as the Superhawk, (Firestorm in Europe/Canada). Likely my next bike
I ride a 2003 Kawasaki ZRX1200R that I bought new and i still ride daily . It’s carburetors work fine and I’ve put 53,900+ miles on it so far and it still runs great. There were later models of the ZRX that were only released in Japan that were called the ZRX DAEG that had fuel injection and were made until 2017. Everyone hates on carbs but they are more easily fixed than a fuel injection system that fries out. I’d never sell mine but I’ve seen people selling the ZRX for as cheap as $3000 . But the green ones for 4 or $5000. There are some who have put 100,000+ miles on their ZRX bikes. The Kawasaki ZRX 1100 R and ZRX 1200R are great reliable bikes no matter what you think about carburetors.
I picked up an OG ‘86 Concourse for 1300$ and put 20k miles on it. Put tires on it and did a 3k mile trip to Cota when I got it. The dash looked like Night Rider. Sold it three years ago and still miss it.
I understand the love for the f4i but I've also rebuilt a transmission for an f5i with 61k miles on the clock and you could still see the mill marks on the gears and minimal bearing wear. They'll all live a long time if you treat them with care and respect. As long as the cops don't steal it lol Recently stopped riding sport bikes bc the road conditions are too much of a variable to safely push myself and have fun and the track is crazy expensive. I now ride a dr650
The 2007.... Bandit 1250S is better than the 1200. It's liquid cooled instead of air/oil. It's fuel injected not carbureted it got 100 ponies + 79 ftlbs of TQ. And.... It's the only inline 4 I know of that has all of that torque available at 3700rpm and 70% of that torque at 1700rpm. You can roll on the throttle at 8mph in 5th gear and it won't bog, or chug... It just goes.....
Yeah the RC is a widowmaker, if you're comfortable taking a modern literbike on a track with the TC off then maybe consider a RC-51. It's not as sketchy as some other bikes of the era like the Suzuki TL-1000R and the 1st gen ZX-10
Right out of the gate is my bike! The in-line 4 FZ-06. It was a nice, torque driven bike with a five gallon tank. I just hated the jerky throttle. It was rough on the hands on long trips because of vibration, but at 85 mph getting 46 mpg it was fun. I let mine go to upgrade to something newer.
I shopped around a lot for my most recent bike before landing on the Honda St1300. I know it's not as fast as the Concourse or the FJR, but it's still quick and fun in a corner. It's significantly more comfortable than those other two. There are still several to be found in the used market for a decent price.... if you're willing to drive a couple of hours to get it. I know, I know.... it's a big nerd bike. Whatever.
I have an FZ09, but the FJ09's I've seen on marketplace look so well taken care of, and perfect for a sporty bike to mount luggage and carry a passenger.
I bought a 2007 Bandit 1250s because of Yammie. I know you said 2000, but I've got the first year of the new upgrades. I looked for 6 months! I just had it Dyno'd and putting down 114hp and 86bhp! Great bike!
Great video! My son in-law bought me a (like new less than 2000 miles) BMW GS 1200. These bikes aren't for everyone. I do my own maintenance so no problem there. I'm in my mid seventies, so two bikes I may also get are the Bandit and Concours. Thanks again Best
I have one of those Bandit 1200, just put 38mm carbs on. Major improvement! 1988 gsxr 750 cams are what you want in it. I have cams, but never installed them. I have a zx14, multiple gixxers, LTD's. Not enough free time.
I owned a brand new 2002 Bandit 1200. I put 15k miles in 2 years. What a bike, I even rode it on Tail of the Dragon. I sold it because I moved overseas.
i almost had a 1996 Bandit S 600 but decided against it for the power level as a first bike. but now as a more experienced rider a late '90s Bandit 1200 s is definitely on my list. i just really prefer that '90s single square headlight as opposed to the later more rounded, dual headlights. such a cool bike.
I had a Bandit 600 as a second bike, it is a pussycat under 8000rpm and even on cam it wasn't scary. 650s pull harder down low and may be more lurchy for a newer rider. The Bandit 600 is a very easy bike to ride at parking lot speeds because just a little clutch slip and you had very precise control of what the engine was doing. Also very easy to work on, never had to touch the carbs, valve adjustment was via screw type adjusters which are really easy. The Bandits just have REALLY bad suspension.
@@SkylerB17 I enjoyed my 600S on Skyline Drive and on mountain roads the suspension is great. I don't ride track bikes with license plates, sporty bikes like the Bandits, Nighthawk S, Hornet, and Thunderbird Sport are aggressive enough on public roads and I don't have to assume contortionist positions!
SV650 was carbureted from '99-'02. The carbed bikes were more lively. The EFI bikes seem to peter out right as they are getting interesting. Also - the frame on the first gen bikes is uber sexy. The ABS and EFI on the 2nd gen bikes were fine, it just didn't have the same level of soul. Source - My wife had one of each.

[stares in gear-driven cams]…jokes aside, the fifth and sixth Gen VFRs are just…they do everything. Avoid the early VTEC models, pay attention to the voltage rectifier thing, and be happy. I’ve only put about 45000 km on my 1999 in the last three years.
Love how he mentions the F4i. I've got an 02. And absolutely love the thing. But 16k on it. Dead reliable. And ride it everywhere.
How about the ergonomics? Are they very different from a proper sport bike, is it easy to ride without putting weight on handlebars?
He mentioned the Yamaha FZ6, but surprisingly didn’t say anything about the FZ1. Both have a factory standard centre stand, comfortable riding position, decent wind protection and will do it all unless you want to go off road.
I have the FZ1 and its a great bike
Need to add the mighty Vstrom, it is sooooooooo overlooked
The Suzuki Bandit 1200 is an amazing machine and you can’t hurt it. I used to wheelie mine all over the place. 👍🏽
I just made a deal to buy my buddies ninja 250 or it might actually be a 300 , super excited to get on it 🤝
Been riding my 04 Z1k for 13 years now.
Try putting motul gear saver in the transmission
@@bilboswaggens2975 Thanks for the tip. I’ll probably schedule it for spring service soon. I’ll see about it then.
My dad used to have a Suzuki Bandit 1250S... man I call it the "mean machine". It goes fast REALLY FAAAST
I was wondering why he excluded the 07-09 SVs. I have an 08 and love it.
I have a Concours 14 2009. Purchased it a month ago and I'm in love with it. The gear shifter is a bit hard and I'm affraid of it having to do with the clutch but the exprience of riding this thing is so great 🥰
Traveling soon on it.
CBR F4i sport - this year has 21 y/o 33k km. Literally beauty no problems at all
Owning since 2008 a vstrom 1000 2003 model until now with 93 horses on dyno I can say it's bulletproof.
I'm glad someone finally talked about the bandit 1200s.
It's my first bike and love it
With all my heart.
It's got a stage 3 carb kit.
carbon fiber slip-on and bigger rear sprocket.
171 mph on the GPS.
Not bad for $3300
10.5 Sec Triumph triple with 12K miles $5 100.
Ninja 650R, 07 08. Had one loved it! Tank bag and saddle bags, sport touring on the cheap.
I have its actual sport touring brother, picked up an 09 Versys 650 for cheap in 2017. Not fast, but rock solid reliable, fairly comfy (bars and pegs are a little vibey as it's a 1st gen 650R motor), and has incredible handling for a 650 class bike
03 z1000 rider here. Never disappoints. I also love my 2000 r1
Hornet 919/ cb 900f ❤️
Been riding the Honda CB400SF (Super Four) for 14years. Its a bulletproof bike as well. Now Im riding the FZ1. And I like both bikes.
I loved my super4 I had 6 of them at one point. The r was my favourite.
My son who lives in Hawaii had a bandit 1200...super nice to ride...really fast, nimble, easy to ride...loved it ❤❤❤
Yup Fz6 is a gem. I own a Fzs600 from 2002, and I love it. If you take care of it it just keeps going 😊😊 And it sound super cool even with the stock exhaust😍
When i look for 20 years old motocykles on european streets, there is Yamaha TDM 900 which is in the lead. And also BMW 1200 GS. Nice
video 👍
Oh and my ZX11d [1993] just turned 80Kmiles… you can tell which bike I like better…
As a guy who bought a honda f4i and my dad with a honda rc51 we have been having the fun of a life time
You are spot on. There are a lot more great bikes but the ones on your list really stand out in every area.
Fz1 second gen 06-15 before they switched to mt. Went from a seca to a fzr600 to a fz6 and now I love the fz1. Tons of power good ergos and is a old man r1.
Basically a 2nd gen R1 motor, "slightly" detuned, and the 2nd gen R1 had a great motor
I still ride and love my 1981 Honda CB 900 Custom. She’s smooth as silk and just puts the miles behind me.
You forgot the honda hornet in 600 and 900 guises fantastic street bikes - tourers great all-rounders
Vfr800 gen 5. Gear driven cams, pre Vtech.... That would be on my list
bandit 1200 is what Dave Moss rides, that’s a hell of an endorsement.
One of our residents has a Bandit 1200, only owner and is always out on it. He treats that thing like a much loved child.
as someone who just rebuilt the carbs on her 2001 SV650, I can assure you that they were still carbureted in 2001 - the 2nd gen with EFI didn't come out until the 2003 model year
I’m watching this video talking about these newer bikes, when the newest bike I’ve owned yet is a 99 shadow 750 ACE.
Monster 620 , multistrada 1100s , monster 900 , bandit 1200 , bandit 600 , FZ1 ( well not a favourite actually ) , honda cb500 , cb1000f , VFR 750 , bmw k 75 , k 100 , K 1200 & 1300 s , Honda blackbird , zzr1100
I had a ninja 300 (v.2014) for 2 years as my first riding experience.
Such a lovely bike, well manufactured, punchy with low fuel consumption.
Japan know how to build bikes for sure ! 👌
I love this list of bikes, great job
And yes I'm bias. Lol 😆😆😆
I'm a 100% RC51 fan
I have an 03 Bandit 1200 it's my 5th one, and the Concours 1400, plus the VFR800 or 1200 should be on list
I have a Yamaha FZS1000 2005, I really thought it would get a mention.....
Hell of a thrill to ride, 143 BHP, 163 MPH......goes like stink when you want it to....👌😁
The Harley V Rod has proven to be a very durable and hassle free bike. Many engines are now at 200k and never been opened up! Still going strong!
Said someone on reddit
I grabbed an fz6. I drive a civic si so this thing feels like a rocket ship to me. Absolutely love it.
my man i bought the 2008 FZ 6N love this thing what a monster super reliable and fun to ride just a treat
@@paulomotorides I put 1000 miles on mine this winter. Things the tits for sure!
I had a Yamaha Thunderace and it was great. Really strong motor insane reliability and quite comfortable for a long ride. Cheep too
Yammie: Talks smack on carbs
Also Yammie: DRZ400 is the s tier beginner bike bro :D
My first big bike will be the CBR600F4i next spring, when i finish my high category bike licence. Literally can't wait for it, that thing is gorgeous
I would add the Honda 919 Hornet as a solid, reliable bike in that class with the 1200 Bandit. Minus the fairing of the S model Suzuki.
If you don't mind carbs, Kawasaki ZXR1200 & ZZR1200 are great!
So, are the 2005 to 2008 ZZR600 and the Honda VFR800 Interceptor.
My friend has that Bandit and SHE FRIGGIN LOVES IT
ʜɪᴛ ᴍᴇ ᴜᴘ ɪ ɢᴏᴛ sᴏᴍᴇᴛʜɪɴɢ sᴘᴇᴄɪᴀʟ ғᴏʀ ʏᴏᴜ 🏍️🏍️

Yep. ZRX = Gobs Of Torque!! \m/>
First bike was a mid 80s Nighthawk S, then quit riding for a while. Got an sv650 and later a 07 Bandit 1250abs. One I would add is probably the VTR 1000f, also know as the Superhawk, (Firestorm in Europe/Canada). Likely my next bike
Honda CBR 929, 954 and Kawazaki ZRX 1200, Yamaha Virago 1100, Suzuki V-strom 650, BMW K1200S.
Yep. ZRX = Gobs Of Torque!! \m/>
Yep. ZRX = Gobs Of Torque!! \m/>
F4i is the first big bike tried as a teen. Started on a honda 50 love that lil machine
As long as the cops don't steal it lol
Recently stopped riding sport bikes bc the road conditions are too much of a variable to safely push myself and have fun and the track is crazy expensive. I now ride a dr650
A great alternative to the FZ6 is the XJ6 Diversion. I love mine!
Edit: I sold it for a Honda VFR/Interceptor 2014. It is so nice having a V4.
I appreciate the RC51 ... but i think the 929rr or the 954rr would have been a better choice with parts availability :P
What about the vfr 800? Great bike very reliable and very unique. I am biased, I have one.
Well I’ve owned 4 bikes on your list. Love them. And desire two more on your list. So yeah I agree whole heartedly !
Just want to say that I agree with you man. I own a SV650 2003. I also had a 2006 zx6r both are amazing bikes
I have an 07 sv650 that is so amazing that ill probably never sell it
i think the honda blackbird should be in that list.
For the hard boiled
Can't believe you talked about the rc51 but not the TL1000 suzuki Lol. great video really enjoy your content. 😊
I ALMOST got an RC51,
I was to slow.
Then again, I probably need more time before I'm ready for that bike.
Yeah the RC is a widowmaker, if you're comfortable taking a modern literbike on a track with the TC off then maybe consider a RC-51. It's not as sketchy as some other bikes of the era like the Suzuki TL-1000R and the 1st gen ZX-10
There's always the Suzuki TL1000s and TL1000R that are always cheaper and not as well known.
My yamaha fz6n 2006 has 109 860 km on now and still running very strong. Really underrated bike.
Still drive it on the rear wheel
As a 2009 FZ6 S2 owner I approve of the first pick 😂
Just finished a 500 mile ride on my fz6 and crossed 80,000 miles. It's on the second motor but the first one lasted 60,000 miles. Love the bike.
Whatever.

I agree st1300 and zrx1200r are well worth a look at the very least
I have an FZ09, but the FJ09's I've seen on marketplace look so well taken care of, and perfect for a sporty bike to mount luggage and carry a passenger.
OVERLOOKED 2001 Kaw ZRX 1200R … VOTED BEST NAKED …125HP … 125 MPH 1/4MI. 500#. I’VE HAD MINE SINCE NEW….
Yep. ZRX = Gobs Of Torque!! \m/>
I bought a 2007 Bandit 1250s because of Yammie. I know you said 2000, but I've got the first year of the new upgrades. I looked for 6 months! I just had it Dyno'd and putting down 114hp and 86bhp! Great bike!
bhp hp
Great video!
My son in-law bought me a (like new less than 2000 miles) BMW GS 1200. These bikes aren't for everyone. I do my own maintenance so no problem there.
I'm in my mid seventies, so two bikes I may also get are the Bandit and Concours.
Thanks again
Best
I have one of those Bandit 1200, just put 38mm carbs on. Major improvement! 1988 gsxr 750 cams are what you want in it. I have cams, but never installed them. I have a zx14, multiple gixxers, LTD's. Not enough free time.
I owned a brand new 2002 Bandit 1200. I put 15k miles in 2 years. What a bike, I even rode it on Tail of the Dragon. I sold it because I moved overseas.
Papa Yam never disappoints!!
Don't do this anymore for Yam's sake!
i almost had a 1996 Bandit S 600 but decided against it for the power level as a first bike. but now as a more experienced rider a late '90s Bandit 1200 s is definitely on my list. i just really prefer that '90s single square headlight as opposed to the later more rounded, dual headlights. such a cool bike.
@@mrvwbug4423 thanks for the info! i will definitely keep that in mind about the suspension. im sure there are upgrade potentials.
