It totally reminds me of a Gold Rush Town. It was so awesome watching you walk up the middle of the Road, I was expecting to hear a Spaghetti Western Song and people peeking through the curtains. I love the wild overgrowth dirt roads and all the incredible Wood Carving. And then when your Handsome Boys came walking up the street, what a sight. I love how the water looked there and the Sky. Loved the tour and History. The pictures now and then were incredible. I love the out building, it was beautiful. Hopefully one of your Boys will build log Cabins. What a great time. Thanks.

I loved seeing Seldovia through your lens. A beautiful little town. The flowers are beautiful & add charm. The wood carvings were neat! I liked the Momma Whale holding her baby up. So precious. I loved seeing pictures of the boys over the years with the fish. I can see why it holds a special place in your heart. I loved the little Church. I'm happy for you & so glad you took time to share this amazing little town with me/us. I liked the flower pot shoes too. I enjoyed your video, & the view looking out over the bay. Our gas was down to $3.59.

Good Morning Hamm Family. Lauren, thank you so much for that wonderful informative and fun history lesson and tour. Seldovia is so quaint and beautiful. I really needed that little break. Spent the morning going through the pantry, fridge and freezers in preparation for our shopping trip tomorrow. I sat down for a moment and your video was waiting. I made a cup of tea (Earl Grey w. Honey and a Cinnamon Stick), kicked back in my chair and went on a little trip. No airplane, car, ferry or boat required. Such a lovely little break. Again, thank you. Have a great day. Yah's Blessings ❤️

My grandmother's second marriage was to Asa "Jack" Wilkinson about 1926 in Seldovia. Grandpa Jack worked for Heinie Berger at the time. He is now buried in Paradise, Calif. where I now live. My cousin Joe Fleckenstein is a book collector supreme now living in Seldovia. I worked as a plumber with Wiltern Bryan on the Bayview Mercantile, the Lynwood Bar and other stuff after the earthquake. During high tide the you could occasionally "walk on water" on the boardwalk until it was dismantled.

I grew up in Santa Cruz, California where they had the terrible earthquake in 1989, I had already married and moved away before it happened, but I lost some beautiful people in my life.
