Taika is a New Zealand film and TV director, screenwriter, producer, actor, and comedian.
Taika’s screenwriting credits include Thor: Ragnarök, Jojo Rabbit, Hunt for the Wilderpeople and What We Do in the Shadows. He is also very well known for his sharp humour and his arguably even sharper fashion sense!
Fun Fact - Waititi has said with regards to a lot of his films, “the biggest theme is family, making families out of those around you.”

One thing I was really glad to learn was that screenwriting could be an extension of your own writing style (tip #4). I came to screenwriting late in life and I didn't realize (for quite some time) that its ok to interject your own flair and style into the script. Reading the screenplay Juno really emphasized this point for me. So anyways, yeah, great video! Great tips!
