Great work as always "FP" handled to perfection. The cop with the beard was a bit camera shy, and also looked like he had his finger on the trigger. Keep up the fantastic work that you do, it's well appreciated i'm sure by all recreational photographers.
seen this video many times. today I thought I'd comment. as simple as this altercation is with armed police, it goes to show... as long as you have not broken any laws and speak to the feds with confidence they dont have a leg to stand on. no profanity. no laws recited. the oath was not mentioned once. love this. stand your ground. know your rights. knowledge is power.
Those bright sparks are armed to the teeth and can’t even string a sensible sentence together between the three of them. Laurel and Hardy with machine guns….terrifying.
And for all the infiltrators who keep pushing the narrative that Auditors aren't making a difference.....BOOYA! Just watched the video of another auditor who was at the same place, same building, same security detail....the difference in how they were treated is amazing! This is why we need to support auditors in any way possible... This is how "policies" get changed! Thank you so much for what you do....and thank the other auditor who's rights were violated also! Thank for the follow up...so nice to see this!:
Great video, really well handled. 👍 I wonder how the police handle the hundreds of calls that they must get about people taking photos of the Palace of Westminster? Certainly a 'sensitive' building. 🤔
Although userone may not have the experience of doing the audit he still has the LAWFUL right to be taking photos from a public space. My question between the 2 vids would be why was userone detained, searched under Terrorism Laws and had his image/footage viewed for doing the same actions (photographing/videoing and refusing to answer questions) as Focus, yet Focus had none of this done and they left???
Difference based on my observation is that userone appeared incoherent, slightly derranged in his mannerisms and often deflecting unintelligently, thus raising red flags. Focus Pocus demonstrates confidence, knowledge, and despite being [purposefully] secretive, he is clear and concise in his approach towards the situation.
So let's explore his "cop logic"... Standing broad daylight, photographing from a public vantage point doing a completely legal activity is somehow suspicious... It let's them justify their ridiculous bully-boy tactics...
Having watched a great many videos where the police are triggered by photography I’ve got to say these two did their job well. Didn’t misrepresent the law when it was clear you knew it, didn’t give you a hard time for your refusal to comply with requests which didn’t carry the weight of a legal obligation -which many coppers will shamefully do. They were also extremely polite friendly and non-confrontational - no mean feat when carrying loaded automatic weapons...which tend to make one intimidating unless you make a conscious effort not to be. They also ultimately left you to it. When watching such videos I often am outraged by the sort of conduct displayed - not here. IMHO these officers are an absolute credit to the service. Well done Charring Cross police station.
Mmmm just watched and I think you missed the point the auditor before him was harassed and detained by plod He did this knowing that would never happen to him But they still tried to watch over him as though he had done something wrong and that isn’t their job
I'm always amazed at the "keep everyone safe" claim, especially by a man with a gun. There is absolutely zero chance of another person keeping you safe, as the state of being safe can never be reached. Being a living human carries with it an ever constant potential of risk. That's why there are handrails, hockey helmets, seatbelts, warning signs etc.
The functioning of the chronophotographic gun is very similar to a normal rifle, with grip, canon and rotating drum, except that it does not carry bullets but photographic plates with which it caught the light at high speed.
"OK, well, we'll just sit here and watch you" Because there isn't any other crime in the capital, it's not like it's known for people to get stabbed and shot in the streets there is it.
Rather pathetic, just imagine if police challenged everyone who took photographs outside Buckingham Palace , Downing Street and the Houses of Parliament. Photographer was polite, correct and stood his ground.
In Glasgow there’s a MOD building near Charing Cross rail station. Underneath is a tunnel which goes south to another MOD building which has sloped bomb resistant walls on the Clyde side. The tunnel goes east to the Royal Infirmary and roughly half way there on the junction of Cathedral/North Hanover street there’s a service lift providing access to the tunnels. The official line is the tunnel is to carry phone cables.
So who was the brains behind putting a 'sensitive' building in one of the busiest thoroughfares in the Capital where any individual could attack it or it's occupants with something far more harmful than a camera. It's not uncommon to hold today's politicians or companies such as the BBC accountable for events that happened many years age so perhaps today's architects and decision makes should be held accountable for placement and security of buildings.
Downtown London really isn't the biggest issue, the area is huge. The problem is that the building is architecturally significant. It's not just a cube coming up from the ground.
"I'm just asking you questions." - Reply with, "No you are interrogating me and I don't appreciate it. I won't be answering any more of your questions."
Police officers...we 'support' you, we want you to catch criminals, we need you to protects us...but please, do not leave yourselves open to ridicule by actions like this.

Great work as always "FP" handled to perfection. The cop with the beard was a bit camera shy, and also looked like he had his finger on the trigger. Keep up the fantastic work that you do, it's well appreciated i'm sure by all recreational photographers.
That's how armed police are supposed to hold weapons you thick fuck
Kids getting stabbed hourly but that man taking pictures requires armed harrassment...........bravo
now you know who the traitors are...and who they protect.
Calm ,professional and above all totally legal This should be the bench mark audit for others to follow.
seen this video many times. today I thought I'd comment. as simple as this altercation is with armed police, it goes to show... as long as you have not broken any laws and speak to the feds with confidence they dont have a leg to stand on. no profanity. no laws recited. the oath was not mentioned once. love this. stand your ground. know your rights. knowledge is power.
3:05 "That's fine we will just sit here and watch you then"... "both instantly turn their backs" 😂
Wow! A policeman stating that you are an intelligent man, yet his questions were banal.
I'm sure he was being sarcastic!
Apparently they have so little to do, that this can be such a serious problem... a camera in the public domain.
There you have it...no id...and they leave! Well done!👍👍👏👏👏
I can assure you they left once the SIS told them exactly who he was.
Yeah they were ok...
Those bright sparks are armed to the teeth and can’t even string a sensible sentence together between the three of them. Laurel and Hardy with machine guns….terrifying.
Three armed police officers storming in asking questions whilst hundreds of potential terrorist sit waiting in hotels all over the UK.
"As a keen tax-payer..."
They sent the long guns out for Focus Pocus ! The other auditor they just tried to bore him to death with talk.
LOL. good point
Surely we don't have enough criminals to be arrested.
“It’s been in a movie hasn’t it...”
EXACTLY!
They didn’t seem to grasp the obvious point you were making.
Meanwhile someone lies dying in a pool of blood.
This is a specialist ARV unit, not one that investigates murders.
Great video, really well handled. 👍
I wonder how the police handle the hundreds of calls that they must get about people taking photos of the Palace of Westminster?
Different attitude he stayed calm and not obnoxious.
So let's explore his "cop logic"... Standing broad daylight, photographing from a public vantage point doing a completely legal activity is somehow suspicious... It let's them justify their ridiculous bully-boy tactics...
The truly scary thing about this is that they armed those fucking turnips.
To be fair they were ok , it would be good if they could see your portfolio of police reactions...
With all the murders happening in London you would of thought they'd have more important things to be getting on with.
This is a specialist ARV unit, not one that investigates murders.
If its a hobby, it's a hobby, if it's a career, it's a cereer, that's what we are trying to establish.
Why?
Mmmm just watched and I think you missed the point the auditor before him was harassed and detained by plod
He did this knowing that would never happen to him
But they still tried to watch over him as though he had done something wrong and that isn’t their job
“Since I was 15...”😂
This cop could barely string together a sentence
“ Since I was 15 “ 😂😂😂
Anyone who isn't uneasy watching this, is crazy.
Totally not biased at all
what camera is that? Looks like you are packing some nice equipment
1dx mk2 I believe.
"Since I was 15"
Rather pathetic, just imagine if police challenged everyone who took photographs outside Buckingham Palace , Downing Street and the Houses of Parliament. Photographer was polite, correct and stood his ground.
They should worry more about the number of people getting stabbed not somebody taking photographs.
4:48 "you don't seem like an idiot', so here, allow me to demonstrate how to be an idiot
British Police. Busy harassing photographers while violent criminals committing knife crime and acid attacks run rampant on the streets...
Top audit from a top auditor.
@Alex Bowman. Who'd have thunk I'd find you here. Small world for wee hippie's 😂
The Queen doesn't mind people taking photos of her 'house', but the copper must think it doesn't have any significance, going by his comment
Do you realise its bomb proof?
"I'm just asking you questions." - Reply with, "No you are interrogating me and I don't appreciate it. I won't be answering any more of your questions."
It's the HQ of MI6. Terrorists would want to photograph the same area. It's not weird for police to approach someone taking photographs.
Police officers...we 'support' you, we want you to catch criminals, we need you to protects us...but please, do not leave yourselves open to ridicule by actions like this.
Mr C police don't catch criminals, forensics & informers do. They don't protect us either, more likely to lock themselves in the car.
have a shot every time a policeman says "obviously" or "you've got to understand"
“Taking photos since I was 15” Brilliant🤣👏🏼
