have you ever tried giving the silent treatment,i watch a lot of the American audits where they just do not say anything at all and it drives the cops mad,wondered how that would pan out here.
They can be very amusing as you slowly see the cop or security guard recoil backwards into their shells and slowly shuffle away. The other funny auditors are when there's two of them chit chatting away and they totally blank the rather rude police interruptions with the same funny results...👍

Actually I wouldn't agree with that. He came out with the good cop attitude trying to give directives like some of the officers suggested your were filming their cars going in and out. Now if you were a bit weaker or didn't know the law he would of player on that but Focus was having none the it and played him all the way and sent him home packing. Second cop was trying to impress the female copper and cop taught a lesson.

They are trained to ask questions and when you give a simple, polite answer and then give them the silence treatment they don't know what to do as you are expected to carry on talking. He who asks the questions presumably has the power, if you decline to answer or give the unexpected response the training manual is a worthless piece of paper. Another tactic which is used is to get themselves into a position where they are physically looking down at you, height equals power and authority. That is why the boss's seat is higher than the seat you are meant to sit in and the floor behind a bar is higher than the rest of the pub. All that goes out of the window when you don't play along.
Mate, being from NZ, i will have to go check the current climate here (slightly overcast), even though Jacinda PM says its a Dark time in NZ, off to court tomorrow to have a parking ticket dismissed (long story, on my channel), i have noticed in the current (overcast) climate, Police are now Guarding every Mosque in NZ, and i am in Auckland, i ponder the thought that if the FOUR Arrested for attacking the TWO mosques had shot up a catholic church, would the Police be guarding every church? we have in NZ around 12,000 cops, and guarding inanimate buildings takes them away from their duties, well done for standing and maintaining you 'rights and freedoms to seek receive and impart information and opinions of any kind in any form' (NZ Bill of Rights 1990 section 14) how can those supposedly there to protect others live in fear of Climate in this day and age? love you moxy brother, stay safe, and carry a few extra ponchos, in case more POOHlice are concerned about the climate, you could offer them a poncho. that or carry the latest weather report. surely that would show you have given the Climate Due Consideration.

The police believe they are above the public and that others rights are trumped by their rights. That attitude needs to change, it has created such a divide between the public they are supposed to serve and officers that they are no longer respected or trusted by the public. Misbehaviour by the police is now such an issue that filming the police at every opportunity by every member of the public should be the norm to protect the public from the police. Just this week the chief constable of Devon and Cornwall has been suspended due to an investigation into sexual misconduct. You cannot trust the police, they are in the largest part criminals.
They are afraid of a photographer, yet they drive out of the police station, in the public, where tens of thousands can see them, photograph them, memorize everything while they cruising the streets for hours. Yea makes sense. If photographing a police station can exploit security, it raises a deep concern in me.

There is something notorius happening almost every single day on some western country and cops in every country use that as an excuse to be worried about somebody who is just excersising his/hers right to hold public officials accountable by filming/photographing them. In this case it was the New Zealand massacre, in other cases it's something else, and if there is no big incident to refer just on that moment, then they go back to 9/11 or in UK to london metro bombing over a decade ago. Always the same "yeah, yeah, you have every right to...", but we don't really want you to. Minutes of explaining how you can do this and you have every right to do this, but then after that a longer explanationg why you really should not. They already legistlated all kind of stuff under all kind of terrorist acts where citizens rights are violated/reduced and for those acts (like filming in public, what ever you want to) which are still allowed they are trying to remove by bullying and harrasing people.

When they video people using their cctv systems. Covert filming and filming of the public when theres a demonstration

There is something notorius happening almost every single day on some western country and cops in every country use that as an excuse to be worried about somebody who is just excersising his/hers right to hold public officials accountable by filming/photographing them. In this case it was the New Zealand massacre, in other cases it's something else, and if there is no big incident to refer just on that moment, then they go back to 9/11 or in UK to london metro bombing over a decade ago. Always the same "yeah, yeah, you have every right to...", but we don't really want you to.
Minutes of explaining how you can do this and you have every right to do this, but then after that a longer explanationg why you really should not. They already legistlated all kind of stuff under all kind of terrorist acts where citizens rights are violated/reduced and for those acts (like filming in public, what ever you want to) which are still allowed they are trying to remove by bullying and harrasing people.
Copsplaining...it not law, but it sounds like it might be law somewhere on the planet...
Maybe its the safety meet up rules on redtube.
