Nico Heisher always plays on the first line (at least for now ) has been a point per game player recently very good both ways and was a selkie finalist last year. How is Vincent Trocheck a higher tier? Should be the same if anything.
I completely agree with your original placing of Vincent Trocheck and how he should/can be a top line center. The only reasons I don't think he is at the moment is because Chris Kreider and Mika Zibanejad are both first liners, and work very well with each other on the same line. Also, the Rangers' current 2nd line is incredibly strong with Panarin, Trocheck, and Lafrenière, and Laviolette putting them together like that was such a good move. Especially since Panarin and Trocheck really helped Lafrenière turn into the first overall pick he is. Obviously he's not at the same level as Leon Draisaitl and J.T. Miller, however if it weren't for the way Laviolette has the Rangers' top six set up and on many other teams throughout the NHL, I can easily see Vincent Trocheck being a top line center.
You'd really take Tavares as your 2C over Bennett? In the playoffs? When the going gets tough and stakes are high? No way, man, not me. Tavares haa disappointed in wvery recent playoff appearance by the Leafs.
Bruh, Schenn has lost it as a C. He's been horrible defensively for two seasons and his offense has dropped off. He's better suited back on the wing. The problem is, until Dvorsky is ready, they don't have a worthy 2C. It could be Buchnevich to start the season, which is far from ideal.
Isles lack of playoff success? They are a couple years removed from b2b ecf, only team to take tampa 7 games in 20-21... brock is so solid... most under rated wrister in the league... isles fall victim to being forgotten about as the "other" ny hockey team... last 5 years whose had more playoff success NYI or NYR?
Ok, I agree but Heisheir is an 80 point guy when healthy and was a Selkie finalist last year. I don't understand how Trocheck is better if not the same.
Wasnt around for the 80s so unsure who would’ve been 2nd liners there, but Malkin is better than him. I think Draisaitl will pass Malkin eventually though.
Kirby Dach is the second line Centre
Buddy get Zegras out of the 2nd tier😂 wtf were you thinking
Good list overall but Nelson has been a top 30 goal scorer for the last five years and led the isles best line in their 2021 playoff run
Yeah he’s solid, at best a good 2nd line center so that’s why I have him in that tier
Hischier plays on the devils top line and there to be a two way guy. easily better than zegras
Yeah but most people consider him to be the second best center on the team which is why he’s on this list and not my Top Line one

Haha I zoomed to the end nice fix having them the same
Great Video, as usual, Jimmy
I appreciate that
@@jimmyhockey Thank You for your comment & reply. No problem
Dach is the 2nd center of the Habs
If he is healthy yes, should have more points if he’s with Laine this year too
Would have Nelson a tier up, consistent 35-35 while playing with pretty average wingers and on a meh powerplay, very underrated.
I think he’s properly rated he’s a consistent 2nd line guy at best
@jimmyhockey Nelson is easily top 5 2nd line center in the league he is easily one of the most under rated players in the league. He is beyond clutch
You got Fantili and Monohan there as second line centers. I think Monohan will be first this year and Jenner 3rd
This video is dedicated to Leon Draisaitl and Evgeni Malkin
Haha 🤣
Miller is the best center
💀 Mcdavid? Draisaitl? Even matthews?
Lmao
Miller is a 1a / 1b with Pettersson
@@Zahava nah miller is 1 petterson is 2.
Miller doesn’t touch Drai lmfao

Good list but Hischier should be capable of being a top line center
can we get best 3rd pair RD next?

dawg how do you forget the blackhwawks dawg you tag the blackhawks but dont even mention them
Jason Dickison as the Hawks number 2 guy behind bedard is decent, dickinson was underated this season
@@LandonMotz real, blackhawks represent🔥🔥🔥

Benny is a stud.
Zegras being that high is a sin
Gotta watch the whole video next time, sometimes I change things at the end
Pinto is 3C.. you forgot Norris on Ottawa
Pick strome or PLD gor Washington
Just going off of the list that was made

Nelson>trocheck
Danault is below Zegras because Zegras has more potential
True but that tier isn’t worse because it’s lower, more like I am not grading that tier because they are to inexperienced
yea miller is canucks 1st line center not 2nd. brock and jt canucks first line
Yes, just following the list that was created, either Miller or Pettersson could be a top line center, that’s what makes the Canucks so talented
putting zegras , duchene and nico above brock nelson is crazy man is a 30+ goal scorer every season
Yerrrrr
Ok, I agree but Heisheir is an 80 point guy when healthy and was a Selkie finalist last year. I don't understand how Trocheck is better if not the same.
a washed nobody
Leon Draisaitl: Best 2nd Liner in History
Draisaitl isn't even the best 2nd liner to play for the Oilers
Wasnt around for the 80s so unsure who would’ve been 2nd liners there, but Malkin is better than him. I think Draisaitl will pass Malkin eventually though.
Backlund could be the first line center for any other team than the flames
I disagree
@@jimmyhockey i dont
Newhook is not the 2C 🤦♂️
Duchene is him
Wyjo is 2C not duchane
That being said I’d put wyjo in the same spot lol
Nelson>trocheck
Zegras over nelson lol
Braden schenn in same tier as brock nelson lmao rediculous schenn couldnt sniff thirty goals in his dreams lmao come on bro
