    I have a question. My scalp is weird. Whenever I had a sew in, I found that my scalp didn't like product on it. Even now, if I put moderate amounts of oil or moisturizers, it flakes up at the root. I've done scalp tonics and the most because I thought it was really bad dandruff. But once I stopped putting stuff on my scalp, it stopped flaking. The cornflakes stopped completely. Lol. How do you recommend taking care of the hair and scalp underneath the sew in when you have a scalp like mine?

    Can you use this with cheap weaves that are sew in? I normally only keep my weave in for a month or two. I just like my hair. I try washing my weaves but after they don't look the same. Some one told me it's because it's cheap hair.

      +Roshae Shorter Also be sure to try to get the oil on your scalp, the braids and get as little oil on the sew in! The sew in I have can take shampoo and conditioner but I don't use any kind of oil on it. Even when you wash it out, it stays oily sometimes.

      @VIPLuxuryHair  8 років тому +9

      +Aleeyah Lewis If done correctly, you should see significant growth after your first install, which should usually stay in around 2-3 months.

    So don’t put on the weave ? I suffer from dry scalp and do sew ins a lot. When I do go back to my stylist she always says if I can’t afford bi weekly hair treatments do them at home because there is no point in protecting your hair if you don’t care for it while it’s sewed in

    • @VIPLuxuryHair

      Monique Slatton you can do weave. Or maybe wigs are a better option for you so you can treat your hair underneath
