Basically I love UK musics with Great Bands ... Peter Gabriel, Led Zep ... and so on. Then I moved to classical ... and thanks to a good friend, I an now a deep admirer of Bach, Schubert, Beethoven ... and few others ! I then heard about african drums, japanese drums ... and they all of them have mesmerizing moments ... I then stopped ( that was 30 years ago, half of my life ! ) to balinese and indian musics ... and I never ceased to love and cherish them ... If you consider that Peter Gabriel produced no less than 7 album from Nusrat Fateh ... this is a Real small World ! :-))) and Peter Grabriel was right : music is universal ...and is over Laws, Art ... Music is simply life

AI will, the problem that's going to arise bcz of ai in the future in this case is that humans will not thrive for a new musical node all they will do it ask AI to generate a random combination of nodes from all previously made musical nodes. And people will get happy with that as they already have no knowledge about it.

Santoor and tabla sound really well together. South india dalli sitar matte north india dalli santoor(indian version of the instrument) has this rich sound.
In late 1980s, Doordarshan (DD) used to play this music during day's program schedule & title display.

i think our indian santoor is a variant of persian santur or maybe the other way around

I saw Zakir with I believe Rahul's father: The great Shivkumar Sharma. I saw them at the Herbst Theater in S.F. He singlehandedly brought the santoor into mainstream music.

well, from my perspective, not all can appreciate all forms of music, like us. If i watch, lets say, a a heavy metal song, then i may opt to dislike it, cuz i can't appreciate Heaavy metal like many others. To them,it may sound divine , but to me, it might not.

The way Ustad Zakir Hussein Plays table is as if he's connected to the artist that he is accompanying. He knows every single move, accurately predicts every single stop, every sam, every beginning and even every interplay improvisation, as if he has memorized something that hasn't been created yet. This is incredibly good. Ustad Zakir Hussein is a wizard.
That comes from alot of practice .when j was a kid I use to sync with any bollywood song with a table and after many years of practice I can sync with many music even if I'm doing it for first time

The sync! I can't say anything else about it. One moment, you hear the sound of santoor and the other, the tabla. They are alternating within the fraction of a second. This what I could say with my understanding of classical music about this masterpiece by the two legends.
Our generation is really blessed to have such legends and we can listen masterpiece which feels like in heaven

এক কথায় অপূর্ব। খুব খুব ভালো লাগলো। তবলার শব্দ আমাকে খুব টানে। কয়েক মাস শিক্ষাও নিয়েছিলাম। ওস্তাদ বলতেন আমার তবলার হাত খুব ভালো। আপনার মতো দক্ষ ওস্তাদের সান্নিধ্যে পেলে জীবন বদলে যেতো। অনেক অনেক শুভেচ্ছা ও অভিনন্দন রইলো ওস্তাদ ঝী। ভালো থাকবেন সবসময়।।
Watching these legends playing together is not only pleasant to your ears but also to your eyes , co-ordination amongst the ustad and pandit ji is amazing I have no words for appreciating the legends this is not only beautiful music but its rather a long lasting memory.
