Saw him in Norfolk Virginia I think 1975 not sure of the dat
It is such a privilege to witness these three masters create such a beautiful piece of music. I’m left awestruck at how subtle and well-orchestrated it is. Absolutely magnificent.
About 200 years together of music wisdom, knowledge and talent can make you play like this. Masters at work. Sublime.
Couldn't agree more!
Splendid! And the brightest is John Mclaughlin's smile at the wonderful interplay of Jean-Luc Ponty and Zakir Hussain (at 5:00).
Speechless. JLP Still beyond perfect, first came across him live Dupree's Paradise Zappa
Three masters , brothers of sound , long time co workers , committed to art and peace - thank you for the space this beauty provides

Absolutely gorgeous and so uplifting. I feel I'm a better person just having listened to it.
Wow, thank you!
It is amazing to experience "Lotus Feet" played again by those tree greats musicians. I often listened to this piece more than 40 years ago and it made me enter into a kind of mystical ecstasy that filled me with tenderness. Listening to it again after four decades is a powerful experience. It's like the portrait of my life. Thank you!
So glad you enjoyed and thanks for this wonderful comment!
The Cold Moon of Dec 15th 2024 came ready to embrace our beloved Maestro, Ustad Zakir Hussain.
Oh Shakti, how You dazzled at the peak in the hour of Amazing Grace, Ascending, then Well-merged while chanting to that Shakti, who in full Ecstasy -

Una grande perdita😔ma lui vivrà per sempre grazie alla musica meravigliosa che ci ha donato.🙏🌹💖
Words cannot begin to describe this gorgeous composition played by 3 master virtuoso musicians. Thank you all!
Excellent. Three of my favourite musicians performing together.
I have so many of their albums in so many different configurations.
It's such a treat to see them together. Thanks for posting this.
The peace and love in this music… I’m listening to this outside and it rains heavily. Never was rain so beautiful and live-giving.
What a lovely sentiment!
Great to see these guys still at it. Been a big fan since the 70's. I would have loved to have been there. The brothers are deep.

The fusion of musical cultures is always an amazing trip to the core of our human nature. Thank you so much for having shared this bit of joy with us.
There used to be The Monsters of Rock festival in the 70s. But now these oldsters are bringing in The Dinosaurs of Rock. I respect the talent of these men.
This is just wonderful, fascinating from start to finish. So much chemistry among these three great musicians.
Es ist toll John und Jean Luc wieder gemeinsam zu hören, plus Zakir H.. Einfach nur großartig.
The rapid figures at the end of JLP's solo at around 5:30 reminded me of McLaughlin's old pyrotechnics. I'm sure it's intentional. This video is just an artistic home run: visuals, sound quality and performance. Love to all who made this happen.
Yes he did some "McLaughlin licks"
Incredible how these Master Musicians can keep going on, playing at the "top of the world", I have loved this since the beginning ap.40-50 years ago, and it changed my life, and I play the compositions myself. True music 🙏
Dios existe, felizmente. Está en las almas, oídos y dedos de estos músicos iluminados. Doy Gracias al Universo por eso.
Very good words. THANKS!
