Man! So much chit to remove before you can even start to remove the intake manifold and the intake. This is about a 12 hour job or more. God Bless you man, that's a hard job.
my god ! someone who doesnt beat around the bush! thank you VERY VERY VERY MUCH YOU ROCK #1 UA-cam MAN I ACTUALLY LEARNED what i needed to know to get our car fixed OMG
the video is awesome shows step by step to rebuilding the upper half.Im getting an impala for free and will turn it costing me the gaskets and time making 1,500 to 2,000 on a 150.00 gasket purchase
Just finished watching your video I have a 2001 Chevy Impala 3.4 with a similar problem ¡ Water passing to the oil the motor runs and function normally to some point where compression goes down and then up then after heat up and dry the radiator empty
@@nathanwalker6030 Those rocker arm bolts when reused can snap right off and often do. A mechanic can tell better by feel than a guage when it's tight enough.
Ok when you disconnected the small Green plug from the Coil. On the driver side. Before you pulled the coil pack completely off. Where does that harness go? The other end is a small Blue connector. But can’t seem to figure out where it suppose to connect to.
Thanks for the video man! I'll be doing this to my '05 Impala very soon, will definitely be using this video as a guide. One question, where did you apply the gasket sealer? I did not see it in this video.
I'm so glad you liked this video. Do me a favor and DO NOT GIVE ME MONEY. I DO THIS SO YOU LEARN HOW TO DO IT AND SAVE MONEY, but if you wanna show your appreciation then, Right below the video, there's a heart symbol that says "thanks", click on that, and there you can buy a super thanks (appreciation / tip) which directly supports Axtuo Ax channel. They make a pushrod tool so you do not have to remove the rockers. Just pry them up & pull the pushrods out. For anyone thats works on 3400 or 3800 engines it is a time saver doing those lower intake gaskets that seem to fail on every single one of those engines
Dope, easy to follow!!!!!! Great job brother!!!!! Can you possibly send me a complete list of the part numbers you used for this vid? I'm about to do the same job and would deff help me out!!!! Thanks if you can!!!!!!!!!
If you still remember, can you give someone from NJ advice on how to break the bolts on the rear exhaust flange? I've been struggling with these for days now!
whats up man love this vid very helpful but the rocker arms? do they need to be adjusted with feeler gauges? plz get back to me if u can im doing this stuff as soon as the gaskets get here Awesome helpful video tho...subbed!
$72 for the head gasket pack. You can get it cheaper but comes less parts on amazon. Glad you liked this video. Thanks for watching 👀 🙂 🙏!! SUPPORT THE CHANNEL!!!!

Hey, Why did you torque the rocker arms 24 lbs? The research that I found was 14lbs and 30 degree angle.

Do you send the heads to a machine shop for a valve job or just to clean them up, resurface the heads?
