Thanks again David, I always enjoy your videos. This one was short but sweet. BTW, Ry Cooder is another big proponent of open G(sometimes referred to as “Spanish Tuning”). In his biography, Keith Richards credits Ry with inspiring him to use it in his own guitar playing. You can also hear guitar in open G on some Muddy Waters records.

I love open tunings. Makes me wonder why standard is the default. Guitar would be so much more accessible if it was like this by default.
