Also about the challenge, if the character cant physically retire he cant decline the challenge, but the rats in shrines can just climb the shrine or something like that i think. Now, i dont know if you can focus the character in the challenge. In WAP characters mounted on things fuse profiles like a single model (like monstr. cav.), or that is what i understood. I dont know with shrines tho. The reports of this edition are great. You bring a lot of new things.
The shrine profile in WAP states that you never use the wounds and toughness of the crew, so when in that challenge, the Plague lord should have been using the shrines wounds characteristic of 6, and toughness characteristic of 6 as well
That turn 1 shooting from the Brets was funny. Camera going back and forth debating shooting at the already wounded unit of slaves or the fresh unit. Thinking out the options for wounds and panic. Then a quick turn of the camera to a MASSIVE AMOUNT OF DICE to shoot, lol. WAP is great.

Think the unit should be able to attack the rank and file models even if the only one they are in contact with in the enemy unit is a character thats in a challenge. p52 "However, you may always direct attacks against normal rank and file models, as long as the model is in base contact with any model of the enemy unit (including characters and command group models)."
One cool addition for Bretonnia would be the Royal Hippogryph Knights from the game Total War Warhammer. I am guessing they'll probably be added once the new army book for Bretonnia comes about.
This rule that a single model cannot redirect is extremely useful. I always played like that. Makes the game way better and more tactical and less cheesy.
At that low of a point cost, swarms are insane. You could definitely invest some points heavy points in them and have them recoup their cost in tying expensive units up.

Warhammer fantasy is so much better than AoS, thanks for keeping the dream alive. Although if GW hadn’t killed the game, I would’ve spent a ton of money on WF models, so thanks for saving me money GW!

Pretty sure you can only throw dice equal to wizard level +2 so your level 3 could only wildform with 5 dice not 6.

A wizard can only use as many dice as his level +2 to cast a spell. So only a level 4 wizard is able to use 6 dice to cast a spell.

Cullen, the wrecker attack count as a stomp attack, it wouldn't work on those knights.

Bound items seem like the way to go. Getting free magic die seems really strong when you can compound them with 6’s.

Prayer Icon does give Men at arms a 6++ ward save. So its worth taken on peasents.
Grail knights are immune to psych. The rats don’t get +1 for fear.
Rats should have lost by 1 and lost frenzy.

You can shoot into combat if you are less than 4" away. Those bowman could have moved up and blasted them.
Swarms are so much better now and feel pretty fun to play. You can really see the smelly peasents getting overrun by swarms of rats

There’s no long range penalty in WAP, there’s a 1+ to hit bonus if the target is within 4”
The plague monks should have lost the first two rounds that "tied" because they shouldn't get the CR bonus from Fear against Grail Knights, right?
