Fun Fact that Ned is voice by Kris Kristopherson who is a renown songwriter, country singer, and actor you'd be most likely know as Whistler from the Blade movies or Chief Hanlon from FNV.
The game actually has a surprisingly talented voice cast, the crazy preacher is Chuckey's voice actor, the mayor is Ron Pearlman, Jenny is a voice actor for dozens of female characters like Lola Bunny, Dexter's mom, and Sally Acorn to name a few.
when i was younger I got this game and loved it; would play it for hours. A few years later, I asked for it for christmas because I lost my copy. My parents bought me Red Dead Redemption and i was so disappointed it wasn't GUN (at first lol)

Gotta love how Ned was so ready to embrace death, but just before he did he had to give his son a token to his favorite brothel. Man had his priorities straight. 😂
I played this as a kid and I remember really liking it, prepared me for Red Dead Redemption a few years down the road, and if I never played Gun, I wouldn’t have been interested in cowboys and western stuff in general, so shout out to Gun for preparing me for what was to come
Ah man, I used to play the hell out of this. Fun fact, you can actually ride your horse into the brothel during the shootout. Doesn't help much but it's a hilarious visual
quick tip when your character twists in this game when you shoot, itll often shoot at nothing so you should "lock in" and make sure you dont freak out when you shoot
I beat this game as a kid. Mainly due to glitchy AI cause a lot of the fights with a named character you have to shoot them like 500 times or so. Everyone important is hungry for bullets in this game and require about their bodyweight in lead to actually put down.
Thank you for covering this, I spent COUNTLESS hours playing every difficulty when I was young. I have no idea how my parents let me play this, I guess they just never looked this kind of stuff up.
Was playing this within the last year after I sank 1000 hours into red dead 2 Nostalgic and brilliant in so many ways This is one for cracking open a whisky to
update: it has been 133 videos/579 days since I first started asking kevduit to play Bionicle heroes, and 24 videos/110 days since he said he said he would play it soon
Me and my brother played this all the time. Our favorite thing to do was go to the buffalo field and unleash a barrage of dynamite arrows into the herd 😂
A certified classic! I audibly gasped with glee when I saw this upload! I loved this game to pieces when I first got my hands on it. Glad people are still discovering and remembering this gem. 🔥🔥🔥
i remember playing the shit out of this game as a kid. always used the tnt barrel to get all the items from the hole in the ground. can't wait to see if he uses it in this vid, or even knows about it.
I still have the DVD standing on my shelf. As someone who loves western since he was a child, I thought this game was quite awesome. I also remember that it was on the infamous B-index, which means it was deemed offensive, liable to corrupt the young and possibly containing infringements of the penal law. I bought the game on release day and one day later, it had already vanished from the shelfes.
One of the first games I got all the achievements for on 360. But only because the developer level select menu was still accessible by players so you could just go straight to the final boss right at the start of the game.
i just bought this game on sale a few days ago and i decided to play that one song from RDR 1 when you cross the Mexican Border. It truly enhanced the gameplay.
Easily my favorite Western game. I liked Red Dead Redemption alright, and there's been a few others I particularly liked, (Darkwatch in particular is great, though it's got a supernatural focus), but Gun just feels like playing a classic Western movie from start to finish. Would love to see you play this game from start to finish.
I remember the stupid Postman minigame being the most infuriating part of the game, I think it might have been the only thing stopping from 100% the game on my first playthrough
I remember enjoying this game a lot like ten years ago. Most vivid memory of it I have though it's when I thought "It was fun while it lasted" thinking I'm about to beat it and then discovered I'm 25% in 😅
Fun story about this game, when I was young and lived at my sister's apartment I found this disc in the dumpster. To my surprise it worked but I have literally no memories of me playing it besides that. Not sure if like 11 me didn't like it or what
i remember this from my teenage years especially because the special effect for smoke and blood was the same except for their speed of animation, dont ask why aha
Ah, yes. The cowboy game I loved playing at my friend's house, before I had even heard of Red Dead. Honestly, it looks better than I remember (the graphics, not so much).
I played the shit out of Gun, 100% completion. My grandmother wouldn't allow me to play RDR. So I got it instead, it's actually a good game for what it's worth.
This is one of those games that companies see a video on and are just like "Oh yeah, forgot we made this."

You better like that game, BOAH!
F yeah, GUN. This was Red Dead before Red Dead
Well, technically this was after Red Dead, but let's not go into too much details.
Especially since Gun's gameplay is better than Red Dead Revolver.
@@OverLorD768 red dead revolver has nothing to do with red dead redemption. There's nothing "wElL tEcHnIcAlLy" about it

Yeah, I was thinking of getting it on pc. Does it hold up?
@@kaptainwoodchuck22 it holds up very well.

I genuinely forgot Neversoft made this game. Man they really were one of the best devs out there. I miss them 😭
The best devs that activision ever had.
They also created the very first 3D Spider-Man Game.

This is the shit I subscribed for: Kev doing whatever he wants, while making snarky comments. 10/10, would watch Kev defile it again.
He really does have a perfect blend of being silly/having fun with the game, while also actually playing it
I don’t remember this game until I watch a playthru and it all comes rushing back like I played it yesterday.

"Kevduit will never play that game! And you will never succeed!"
I'm still waiting for a video where he plays with the likes of Josh of Let's Game It Out, Spiffing Brit, and perhaps even Cheru.
I LOVE this game!! You absolutely have to play more! 100 percent it please! I want to watch it all! It's one of my favorite games of all time.
Man this game had some heavy hitters for voice acting. Thomas Jane, Ron Perlman, the voice of Chucky
I have played this game to 100 percent and I totally forgot it existed until now😂
This game deserves a remaster like what THQ Nordic did with Destroy all Humans or Namco with Pac-Man World Re Pac.
