I recently finished your course with the 7 stages of kit design. Loved it and submitted a sort of final project. As a considered amateur kit designer (I'm originally a healthcare professional) I am still struggling with getting in front of the right people with some proposals. Even though I concentrate a lot in my childhood's club here in Portugal, I have been doing more and more brands and teams concept designs.
Big fan of this channel as well. Cheers to you both.

I'm a strong St. Pauli supporter and I have to say that each year DIIY got more disappointing. This season has been particularly shocking in the 3rd. But it seems like we'll be shifting to Puma which comes to a problem regarding ethics and whatnot

Was in Hamburg a few weeks ago at the club shop and thought I might get a kit as souvenir. I was shocked at the price for a piece of tat. €80! I still have a black 3rd kit from Under Armour which still looks better than these DI!Y kits!

The two clubs I remember doing their own kits are Chelsea and Leicester. I think both scrapped it after a season. Chelsea was in the 80s and Leicester in the mid 90s.

Cardiff City set up their own brand called Cosway Sports in 2015 because the Red kit rebrand no one was buying the shirts so Puma cancelled the contract. It lasted about 1.5 seasons before we rebranded to blue and signed with Adidas

Just bought the st pauli kit and it feels weird. But I guess that is because they did it in house. Good info guys.

Me & some mates talking about all the away kits in the Prem this season at the weekend. Has there ever been some much crap made in one season ?

I work in sustainable development, and was very curious what sustainability and inclusivity aspects St. Pauli included in their design. 🤔 Shame it turned out the way it did.
They had a shimmery copper shirt a while back that is still very smart. Hopefully they can get back to more of that, with sustainability and inclusivity intact. 🙌🏽

I love the channel! I learned so much. I thought the new adidas Boca Juniors 23/24 kit is interesting (without sponsor too!). It would be great if you can review it.

Personally I can’t see a major problem with The Sankt Pauli kit. It looks better than The BVB shirt. Maybe Uhlsport or Jako whom are both German could improve the design?

Quite ironic that St Pauli’s shirts are so bland considering they pride themselves on how different and ‘out there’ they are...and charging £50 more for a player shirt when it’s practically the same as the fan shirt is outrageous....goes completely against what the club stands for!

That kit is horrid. The coat of arms of Hamburg contains 2 asiatic lions I would incorporate the lions into the shirt get rid of the collar and pointless white stripe … you remember when Leicester and Everton had bia Saigon and used the dragon logo on the sleeves . I would try that or something similar it looks heavy too I would make it lighter
