Long time no see! You were actually the inspiration for me to create a blog about football shirts (on a different platform btw), so I'm really glad you're here again! I hope we'll see a video about Portugal's away kit, but if not, could you tell me what you think of it? I'm also eager to hear your opinion on Nigeria's squared collar (even though they're not part of Euro 24, it's still exciting) and some of the recent Puma shirts. Thanks for the video, and good luck!
They absolutely need to go back to 2 or even 3 year cycles.Arsenal had their famous Anfield winning title shirt in 89 used over 3 seasons - 88-91. It would make the anticipation of getting a new shirt over that span of time even better. You also would'nt get as many of the shirts selling out quickly and having to wait for more stock as some have recently.
I've noticed MLS are rotating their kits. Adidas have the exclusives for all teams but each team only gets one new kit a year, alternating between home and away.
Love this coverage of football shirts lads not just the different quality of the shirt versions but also the sheer amount of shirts being released which i do not understand how families afford to buy every year. The quality of the shirts are getting lower year on year making the very well made version of fakes even more appealing to some.
The Portgual top is lovely. Sadly the last nike jersey before they move to Puma in the next 6 months. Totally agree how poor the replica jerseys are now for both Nike and Adidas.
Not for most teams, no. And only really Nike, Adidas and Puma tend to do them. A lot of brands will offer the same shirt to players and fans. Subside Sports is a great place to find the pro versions though.
Ronaldo’s time has gone unfortunately. Perhaps as an impact sub when getting crosses into the box is where he will be better, but he’s never going to agree to that. With the kits, I think I agree about getting the pro ones over replicas, and that club sides need to start looking at extending the life of their designs for more than one season.
I used to abhor the idea of fakes but if you're a parent or teenager, the usual websites are the way to go. Like you say, it's not the cost, it's the frequency. And the replica v authentic pro kit has become another cash cow to milk. You WANT the authentic but it's made to a player's specifications and use. Washed with like fabrics, replaced often, badges and appliques there for representation not wear-and-tear. They're made for 90 minutes, not a few years. To create a chasm between the design of the kits feels like a cheat to me. To think of the furore in the 90s when Umbro were lambasted for charging £39.99 for an adult shirt... I can see why CFS and their many imitators are so popular now.
(Rob here) In the early days of my career we created player spec shirts but they were only commercially available in limited quantities. They were designed and built for a specific purpose. Like most things, though, if enough people want it, companies will sell it.
@@TheKitBreakdown I bet those limited runs are rightly loved and looked after now! I have sold mid00s player spec shirts because of their lack of weight and drop, a whispiness, and their washing instructions. Even then it was always caveat emptor because they were pro. Like with the Kappa Kombat, a few of us aren't the same build as footballers anyway either so wearing what your favourite player wears isn't always the best look! Keep up the great, great work Gentlemen!
They need to stop with the pro / replica shirts, it’s conning fans - there’s only one shirt, there shouldn’t be two versions. I’d understand if it was purely quality because obviously the players need something more breathable but it’s the fact that details and designs are slightly different between the two versions.
The price of the pro kits is too damn high. I'm on nike right now looking at the aforementioned Liverpool home shirt that ye hate and with a nameset, badges and everything it's f*cking €180. There's no world where I can justify spending that much on a single jersey, and if I am it's going to be something vintage with real history to it
this intro is just perfect
We're getting spoiled with two videos in such a short amount of time! ♥ Also, that tattoo is amazing! ❤🔥
Cheers!
So glad to see you guys back, you've really been missed
Cheers Rich. We missed you too!
Love the new intro lads 👏
Our editor, Michael McAnaulty, is a very talented guy.

Wow - that's quite humbling to read. Put a link to the blog on our new video!

It's true. People seem more concerned about the life cycle than the price, at least in so much as they'd pay more if it was on pitch longer.
Great that you are back!
Thanks!
Great video as always guys. 😊
Thank you 🤗
WELCOME BACK
Thanks!
We need 2 hours of this show please
Thanks! Please send an email to Netflix!

Makes a lot of sense.
Portugal Away kit > Portugal Home kit
Seems to be a popular opinion, for sure.

Beautiful daytona mate 👍🏼 And thanks for coming back guys! Cheers
Cheers dude!
Portugal kit is very nice by nike
Really happy you're back! I really enjoy your content.
Glad to hear it!
Cant wait for the Liverpool shirt review!! 🤣
Hello chaps once again the detail in your description can't go wrong. I did always ask if you could do reviews on South Africa football shirts
Longer vids please 🙏
We'll be doing some longer ones with the club kits later in the summer 👍

That'll be an interesting switch.
Pepe is an even more mental case than Ronaldo, playing at 41 and putting those defenders to shame.
Any Copa America kit reviews on the way?
What are your guys thoughts on the new AC Milan kit?
You'll have to wait and see when we do the club kit reviews in a few weeks time!
Do manufacturers do pro kits for most teams and if so how do you manage to get them ?
Only a select few offer them

Certainly looking that way isn't it? Too much of Portugal's play now looks forced towards him.
Portugal to puma next year but there ultraweave NEEEEEEDS a revamp it’s scary how cheap they look

Bonkers money, isn't it?
Kit makers are starting to take the piss. Obscene prices and lesser quality shirts. Especially adidas; fleecing the fans. enough is enough
