Here I am just diving in 3 years later & im amazed at how much depth I was bumping into so I decided to search for a guide…. This was really put together and I’m amazed how much deeper it is.
All my guides and reviews are high quality. Please sub and share my underrated content! I appreciate you taking the time to comment and helping me out!
Me too! I think I was at the 3rd dungeon though...Man. That's why I wanted to mention them in the video. It sounds like you might like my other content as well!
i recommend the red slime pet to new players. the mimic is nice, but getting a mimic egg is difficult, and inventory management isn’t as difficult as you’d think. the red slime adds a stun ability to your weapons, so you don’t have to use the golem weapons if you want the stun ability. also, the red slime is like the easiest familiar to get. you’ll run into like 50 of them per dungeon dive
I'm hearing about the stun slime, which IS good, but the mimic can make you rich soooooo much faster. Having a FULL chest with no curses that's essentially permanent is key with the higher dungeons.
I didn't know either. Had to learn the hard way, that's why I make and share these videos. Sub and find more winning guides like this on Uncomfortable Game Shorts!
This video was recommended to me after watching your Gungeon video. I just started playing Moonlighter about two weeks ago and these tips are invaluable. I had no idea about the mirror 3x multiplier, the empty chests down holes teleporting items back to base, the Le Retailer tip, none of it! And I can’t wait to get the mimic. I didn’t know it was in the game lol. Dude your videos are so concise and helpful, no fluff. Big Ups and thank you so much!
so excited for this video, just picked it up in the eshop sale yesterday for $5 with the dlc. it's so fun trying to figure out all the best selling prices for stuff, but it's a really overwhelming game. kinda wish that old man had hung around for a while or we had flashbacks of grandpa or something. but, alas, we get you 😄 and that's cool!
Really you don’t put something in it when I first found it when I missed a roll over a whole I was like ima put one item in here then it showed a pic of the chest and poof it was gone glad i found it so early
I appreciate the time and effort you put into this to make what you’re saying clear! I feel stupid that I didn’t know the chest would send items home, the statue would let you upgrade the chest in that room, and the bow and arrow could Pierce if charged.
I 100% always wondered what those chests were. AND the one in the room that you can upgrade... never knew that either. BUT just finding this stuff out halfway through thr game is kinda fun though. I didn't watch any guides originally and just jumped in... it adds more to the exploring
Guess I should consider myself lucky. Or maybe because I've played games with game mechanics like these before, since most of these I found out from beating the first dungeon. Another useful tip: cursed artifacts can be stacked with themselves but not with non-cursed artifacts. But some artifacts curse is to lift the curse of another item. So once the artifact's curse is lifted, it can be stacked like normal. This can free up an extra slot.
Probably the best tip video for this game. Good pacing and good info that I didn't know. Sometimes I wish this game had text explaining stuff because when I updated my shop to the 3rd lvl, I had no clue what the little paper thing was telling me.
Thanks Sin! Really appreciate it and hope you continue to enjoy the videos I put out. It takes a while to post them since I spend time on the quality over the quantity but I hope they're worth it!

this was a great video and really packed a punch! more detail would have been awesome too but its understandable :))) ✨️ I've had the game for a good couple of months now but am really enjoying playing through it at my own pace. any tips for completing the 2nd dungeon? I don't know whether I should upgrade weapons and armour or just invest in a one time potion for the final boss of that dungeon? 🥺😢
I never bought potions because they were expensive I felt. Memorizing enemy moves and attacks helps. I always rolled with a bow and arrow and used it as often as I could. I would use the big sword for damage against bosses and other enemies that were easy to hit (otherwise I always fought at range with arrows). Upgrading your bed will also give you some extra health/armour which should help you last longer.
Ooh the 2nd dungeon is pretty easy to me. Its the 3rd that always gets me. I recommend using the gloves. I recommend enchanting your weapon too to the max if you can. Upgrading your armor also helps a lot but you can still win without it if you time your rolls/dodge right. The gloves are fast enough to help you win. I usually alternate with it and the staff. Also try making sure you sell stuff for neutral over cheap/generous, making more money is always better. Also make potions using the jelly you collect but dont ever buy them full price cause its way overcharged and expensive. P.S: forgot to say this but making sure you have the right armor for your gameplay counts too. So if speed is what you want then fabric armor all the way, and if defense is what you go for then steel but you'll be sacrificing speed, and iron for neutral you dont lose or gain speed.
@@BleedingLiar17 Great advice Karianne! I hearted the comment to make it easier for others to find. The gloves were a bit tough for me to win with, I did way better when I always had a bow and a longer range weapon like the spear or big sword.
@@gabriellaarchive you’re welcome I hope it helped, ☺️ I’ve been playing the game on hard and it’s weird how the more you’re used to a game the easier it gets but you do need to grind more for money which is frustrating.
I know this is an old video, but hopefully I can get an answer because this is the first rouge like game I've enjoyed and want to continue to play, but I can't craft anything and it's making me want to just delete the game! I invested in the forge so I can craft weapons and armor, but I can't craft! I have all the required items and money, but when I hit grab it just shows the items on his workbench then goes away. I use the witch lady to make potions so I know I'm doing everything correctly. I just can't forge items. I think I see a menu flash up randomly when trying to craft, which I think is the *Are you sure you want to craft* option like it does with the witch.
Yo! I don't know if this is helpful but if you're crafting a weapon (for example), you must have the materials plus the previous tier weapon to upgrade. I think I remember this confusing me once. I appreciate you checking out my video. Moonlighter is amazing. If you like a challenge, Enter the Gungeon is an excellent Rogue like as well. Hope you sub and check out my other content ;)
@@UncomfortableGameShorts ok going to try this, but do you mean, you need to make Cloth armor's before steel? Because, yeah I was going straight for steel armor. But the same thing seems to be happening with weapons on the lowest tier weapons 😢. I messaged the devs too just in case it is a glitch.
@@xTheTamingx no you don't need to do that. Just make sure you have enough and when they ask are you sure, say yes. You can add the items to wishlist so when you're in the dungeon you know what to keep and what you need. And for weapons you always need to craft the training version first before you can upgrade. For eg. Training short sword -> soldier short sword/rusty short sword. You always need the former version before you upgrade with weapons and armor too. So steel helmet II needs you to craft and have steel helmet I

what ? I thought the chest at 0:58 is just an useless empty chess.. turn out I can actually teleport my stuff back to the house ? bruh. thanks for letting me know mate, I'm gonna use the chest from now on
This chest is huge! So nice to send some items back and keep looting. Send all your cursed items, the curses don't affect anything when placed in this chest!
I might be remembering things wrong but I thought each elemental type superseded the one before it. Like I started with nothing, then got stun, poison, fire, and electricity (if that's the right order).

@@UncomfortableGameShorts lol, typo.. FTal is great, but I meant to say I’m trying This, and trying to figure out the popularity tab. I thought it was the shop’s popularity, but no, it’s just the popularity of the items I sold.
@@FurryEskimo Ah yes! The popularity is a bit confusing. I talk about it in this video a bit (pause and read the text for more info). Check this guide: moonlighter.fandom.com/wiki/Selling_and_Reactions It shows how a person buying an item may reduce the popularity if it is too expensive.
As of Nov 20 2024 moonlighter is $1.99 on Playstation store.... and the dlc is $1.30.. don't buy the full game with dlc it's almost 25$... buy them separately for $3.66

what ? I thought the chest at 0:58 is just an useless empty chess.. turn out I can actually teleport my stuff back to the house ? bruh. thanks for letting me know mate, I'm gonna use the chest from now on
This chest is huge! So nice to send some items back and keep looting. Send all your cursed items, the curses don't affect anything when placed in this chest!
do you recommend the normal weapons path or the elemental?
I might be remembering things wrong but I thought each elemental type superseded the one before it. Like I started with nothing, then got stun, poison, fire, and electricity (if that's the right order).
Thanks!! 😊😊

Damm your channel is underrated :(
You're not the first to say. I don't know what UA-cam is doing. Please sub and share my content, I need support from people who have an eye for good quality like yourself.
Quick hint for money: if you have any tip increase, but buy and resell tech reveal potions from the witch. Made 2m that way easily.
Never tried this!
@@UncomfortableGameShorts i maxed out the register and bought every tipping increase from the hawker and got 210% profit per potion
@@CommanderSovietcat2 Yes this is the way! Hope my guide gave you some good tips as well. See how few views I have, my channel; is very underrated, hope you sub and share my content anywhere to get more views on my content!
What’s the point of ng+ if you can’t keep everything
You get to keep some things but also get to play the game again (which I was happy to do). There is also a new weapon level to craft (the green one) and the witch has new things for sale.
But you loose everything in your storage
@@orestkendzora8661 Ya it resets the game. I was happy to play through one more run but stopped after 2.
i wish there was a way to increase the bag size, even with the mimic
Oh yeah. I also liked the inventory puzzle system. Thanks for commenting on my underrated channel. Sub and share my content!
How to create a new game?
What one should i click?
I've click everythint and nothing happen
I’m currently tryin FTL figure out what my popularity does.
Faster Than Light? Love that game! So tough but so fun.
As of Nov 20 2024 moonlighter is $1.99 on Playstation store.... and the dlc is $1.30.. don't buy the full game with dlc it's almost 25$... buy them separately for $3.66
Good tip and crazy cheap for such a fun game!
Can u actually kill the green slime or no???
I don't think you can. I looked it up and no one had tips on how. When I tried attacking it didn't give me the impression it could die either. Awesome game right? Hope you sub and share my underrated content. I make lots of easy guides and reviews.
The guide is really cool, thank you, but, bro, spoiler alert... You really showed a couple of bosses, as well as final without warning
I try to share things I had to research or look up. I make tons of easy guides and funny reviews. You should sub to make it easier to find my content again!
... Facts
where do you find the mimic?
You unlock it from an egg you can find in the dungeons. Pets are random drops. Just keep playing and eventually you will catch them all!
Great video, but next time you plan to show things like the final boss, will you put a spoiler warning? Thanks.
Is this an open world?
No, it's a rogue-like with stitched together maps.
gerat video :p
Appreciate it. Moonlighter is a great game!
Love the game so far. What does get HUGE THUMBS DOWN is you cannot turn the stupid music off!!!!!!!!!!!
I never realized that. Really!? Strange...most games have music volume control...
thw wanderer is called daddy
I picked this game up with the ps plus catalog and this seemed like a cool game until you threw all this at me, way too many mechanics to just discover, with stardew valley everything I do seems productive, this game should have had some sort of tutorial for all these mechanics, I'm bailing glad I didn't waste my time when you said bandits I was like this just seems like work now maybe I'll come back to this game later if I have time to learn all these game mechanics
Appreciate your position. I never felt overwhelmed but this game was a lot like another game I played a while back (Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale) so maybe I was ready for it. Hope you sub and share my underrated content!
im gunna cry
Why? Did the guide help? Tears of happiness?
This game is basically Escape From Tarkov's flea market 😂
Never played it! Good game?
@@UncomfortableGameShorts it's as toxic and addictive as meth
@@ivanquiles4903
Great stuff but moonlitter?
What do you mean. Did I make a typo?
No a mispronounced word actually. In the beginning you called the game moonlitter instead of moonlighter. But I meant it when I said great stuff. I really appreciate the help. This game is very fun but takes a little learning

The ending sounds depressing, losing everything and start over lol.
New playthrough opportunity with a few new weapons and enchantments ;)
Probably the best tips video of a game that i have i ever seen.
One of my favorite games of all time. 🥰
