Chronicle is literally my all time favorite movie. It's so realistic on how teenagers would use powers and how one who has been abused would use his powers for revenge. Such a perfect movie for 2012
SAME
Same bro
same here. still haven't found a movie even close to it apart from power rangers 2017 which kinda has the same feel
chronicle is peak actually
Chronicle basically japanese style of manga. I would said director got his influence from manga such as akira and gantz
Nothing can beat Man of steel when it comes to CGI action
Eternals
Hancock
@@Polymerata that's a good movie but man of steel is better sorry
@@Hinokami777 not really
@@Darkseidsolosfiction can't argue with that.
It’s interesting that the first Superman used the same concept we do now. Switching for a “cartoon” once in the air.
Kirk Alyn was actually a very good Superman, especially for the first one ever. Wish he got more recognition.
Oh wait🤔, that actually makes sense😮
@@projekttaku1*Ray Middleton* was the 1ˢᵗ to wear the costume in an official capacity at the 1939 World's Fair (Superman comics had only debuted the previous year). There's still color footage of it: ua-cam.com/users/shortsXBLQRghXng But that wasn’t on-screen acting.
*Bud Collyer* was next, in the radio dramas (voice only) starting in 1940 with “Adventures of Superman” then in the Fleischer Studios cartoons starting the next year with “The Mad Scientist."
*Kirk Alyn” was the 1ˢᵗ to physically appear on-screen in costume portraying Superman and Clark Kent in scripted adventures (unlike Middleton at the World's Fair, who was basically just standing there in costume on an elevated platform welcoming visitors into the fair).
"🙀" Wow!!! Yes that's right !!! ✅️
Man of Steel nailed Superman's flight scenes
Zack snyder version of flying is the bbest in my opinion in all his dc projects. He really knows how to capture the strength and impact of his cgi actions frfr
The Shazam roof transformation scene will always be iconic
Man of Steel, Iron Man, and surprisingly Hancock are my favorites. The sound design is incredible and I think that's important, and they are all so unique in flight styles. Hancock was so shocking to me because it was so fluid and human. Often VFX or CGI can make things really stiff which looks fake, but Hancock's drunk flight style was so believable to me.
Yes, I am completely agree with u, all three are best in their own category, and Hancock flying scene is very realistic.. and it shows how a person will react when he suddenly sees an object...
Hancock was superb.
YES!
Man of steel man.... Watching his first flight for the first time. Amazing. Gotta give Zack his props he knows how to give you the bumps. Superman flying straight up then looking down before jetting up...
P.s Superman and Lois has some surprisingly sick flying too especially when his son taught he was faster than superman..lol
Disagree. Over-cliche and uninspiring like the rest of Snyder’s work
@@OMGanger that's totally fine. But in my opinion that whole flight sequence was dope
@@OMGangerso because its cliche and uninspiring to you suddenly you dismiss his action scene??? Even haters praised snyder action scene. You are not haters, you Just hating for the sake of hating.
@@OMGangerriding so hard on that bandwagon
Yes, in superman and lois season 1, the flight scenes are just wow like from a movie!
Iron Man and Man Of Steel nailed the flight scenes imo
dont know about that. Batman V Superman looked better since it wasnt shaky cam
@@purefoldnz3070 Not having a shaky can is worse though, it's less immersive
@@vrhehdbd3453 you dont need a shaky cam to make something immersive lmao. It comes from good directing, story, cinematography and acting. There's been plenty of shite movies with shaky cam.
@@purefoldnz3070 You don't need it in most situations but it helps. You most definitely need it in flying scenes, I think that's a no-brainer.
@@vrhehdbd3453 disagree, you dont need it in flying scenes. Superman isnt a gritty documentary. It looked much better in Batman v Superman when it filmed a framed like a comic book.
Hancocks flying looks unique
Lots of personality
Man Of Steel stands the test of time...that film is ageless!!!!
Iron Man definitely makes you want to fly. Besides the CGI itself looking so realistic, his body posture and demeanor looks the way a human body should look if it’s flying in a suit. The realism is just jaw dropping.
I always liked how black adam felt differently from others, when he "spawns in" it feels like he's no-cliping like the gravity wasnt a thing for him, superman has to put effort into flying, at least a little bit. Love the vids!
Black adam basically Gary stu of the superhero movie. What funny thing is he is Just a slave with small and skinny body, where did he learn to fight?
This is why Man of Steel is superior movie than Black adam. Clark kent need to learned his power to fight.
@@boboboy8189 Teth Adam in the comics beat Batman in h2h combat (It's weird considering Batman is one of DC's most skilled fighters). Most of their knowledge is still retained even in their mortal form, so Teth just remembers how to fight. Doesn't discount the fact that The Rocks Black Adam is a Gary Stu thanks to his contract.
Or just black adam movie Makers didnt put the same passion and realism compared to mos,i mean did Henry really "struggling"?? Black adam just crap lmao
@@GregKhar-NU-Metalhead2000Black Adam movie was top tier in action and realism if nothing else. Black Adam is a very self righteous, pompous individual so his flight style suits him. They captured flight and super speed very well
@@GregKhar-NU-Metalhead2000Just because you don’t like the movie or actor doesn’t mean you say stupid things that discredit the hardworking VFX artists and are objectively false
Man of steel fight scenes proved to me that zack snyder is perfect for a live action DBZ film. MOS flight scenes are literally peak. Nothing will top that.
Although i'm fans of zack snyder movie. His style is not good with DBZ, i would said hollywood director that can do DBZ is James Wan.
I always want zack snyder to direct
1) spawn
2) Ghost Rider
3) Daredevil or elektra which he want to direct elektra
4) the question
5) Conan the barbarian
@@boboboy8189imagine if he did god of war or halo
@@boboboy8189I'm talking about him directing the fight scenes specifically. Not the movie itself.
Nah, get an asian guy to do dbz @@coreymckee4844
Johnny Storm and Silver Surfer chase scene was pretty legendary as well
Brandon rouths superman returns has the most beatifull flying scenes i have seen. Its a bit rough on the cgi but it captures the best flying with the sound and the Cape just perfect
Thank you for using scenes from Zack Snyder's Justice League. a 4 hour MASTERPIECE!!!
Eternals flight was so smooth
Yes
Superman Return had the best flying scenes, specially saving the plane scene.
Yes. I remember the aeroplane scene and Clark's running in the field scene.
HANCOCK HAS THE BEST FLYING , it really shows his mass in weight and how destructive his landings could possibly be if he’s not resisting force.
Hancock looked like he felt so free whenever he flew and the CGI of his character was so nice!
Watching Heros as a kid was the greatest thing I have ever watched. Was a true classic for us super Heros lovers
Now I want a video about telekinesis/telepathy in movies and TV. Ranging from Scanners, Matilda, Pokémon: The First Movie, X-Men to Stranger Things.
Man of Steel, Hancock, and surprisingly Black Adam by far most visually appealing flying CGI in my opinion
add the first Iron Man films to that list and I agree
Ikaris in Eternals
Says a DC fan 🤡
That cockroach joke gave me THE MOST pause ⏸️ haha
I've been waiting years to make that joke.
Man, finally seeing Clark (or rather Kal-El) fly in Season 4 was so satisfying. As a kid, my mind was blown. The continuous shot where he chases Lex's plane through the air to retrieve one of the Stones of Knowledge still holds up for a TV budget. Even the practical effects when he rips open the airplane door, with air blowing everywhere and creating turbulence. Just so good! 👏🏼
That short Dr. Strange sequence, with the chill music was epic.
Chronicle, Iron Man, and Mano of Steel were my favorites as far as flight.
Glad that Psychokinesis is included (and “Moving”) ❤
Bro is so underrated. His voice tone and editing is amazing!
Ikr, love his shit
I can't fathom how much time this video took. Just finding the clips must've taken HOURS upon HOURS. props to you.
True!
I appreciate this thank you.
Matrix Revolutions deserves some recognition for showing us the first full-on sky battle. At least for me it was the first :D Great video!
I know this doesn't count but tom n jerry also had flying, you know where tom attaches a curtain onto himself and uses it as wings...that was pretty dope
Namor from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has one of my favorite flying sequences, his unique version of flight was genuinely awesome, and super refreshing to see
Kim Doosik from Moving flying looks the most realistic. Maybe bc it's made based on irl situation if someone could fly, that's how it supposed to look like, ig. Not only flying but he also got speed by lifting up from the ground. The gravity had nothing on him. He can move more quick without any friction. And the definition of flying he told his wife of how to fly is beautiful. It made sense and realistic 😭😭😭
I fucking LOVE your Thumbnails Man. Underrated Channel frfr.
I spend way too much time on my thumbnails, so this means a lot. 🙏
@@y.reviews I’m honored you even Responded to my comment, and yeah. Keep up the Good work bro👍🏾
I love how chaotic the flight in hancock is i feel like it's more realistic
Man of Steel’s flight scenes looked amazing, gave us the feeling of power behind the flight movement. But I prefer the “casual” looking flight as opposed to the hands forward posing. Chronicle, Hancock, and even Black Adam make flying look the best just by being casual and carefree. And I know it’s animation, but I think Invincible does it best; showing the protagonist constantly adjusting his position mid-air as he flies, taking full advantage of the fact that he doesn’t rely on gravity while also giving the feeling of power when he breaks the sound barrier. They have yet to translate that realism to live-action, but I think Chronicle comes the closest
I wonder how James Gunn is gonna direct the flight scenes in Superman Legacy. Maybe he could do it like he did with Adam Warlock in GOTG3?
I'd assume so. But also interested to see how he's gonna spice it up. The whole world is watching and I hope he delivers.
Oh please no that was horrible
@@Darkseidsolosfictionand that's why people have opinions
@@nobodyishere there is an opinion and there is a fact, that was horrible
Adam warlock flying remind me superman return flying 🤣🤣🤣, its very outdated and felt a step backward. Even homelander and whatever dude from the eternals has better flying scene
15:35 "Never before seen" with these two characters, yeah, but not at all in concept. The Matrix Revolutions, which you omitted from your Matrix part, had almost the exact same mid-air brawl, but a whole 10 years earlier! (and more inventive and exciting imo)
Did you saw the interview? Director admit they do it Just for money
Revolutions bit unfortunately left on the cutting room floor with this vid but you're right. Good call.
Man of steel also copied parts from an anime called Tetsuwan Birdy in that fight scene.
Thank you.
This is a well documented video
I’m surprised Superman returns didn’t make an appearance in this video. That movie has my favorite flight scenes of all time right next to iron man. Loved the video. Flight is for sure my top 5 superpower.
you are HIGHly Underrated! Great video.
damn this is the first video in a while that I watcedh fully through. God Job
Thank you for this amazing documentary.
Your transitions and cuts are A1... great work
Much appreciated. 🙏
Thoroughly enjoyed that video to keep me company
Like how you sneaked "STANK" in there to commemorate the legend. But on a real note the MAN OF STEEL first flight coupled with Zimmer's masterpiece gives me chills any day of the week
Same man. Same.
9:46 bro you just gave me an "everybody hates chris" flashback with tht doll. The scene where chris got tossed out the window and it was just the doll...literally the moment of the slap i flashbacked so trippy😂😂😂
Great video as always can't wait for the next!
🙏
Man! Chronicle! Another movie that needs a sequel.
Thank you for this video and audio🤩
The smooth voice and meme level humor is so good
one type of flight i feel is really inderrated is ikaris from eternals, the way they did his flight really felt like he simply sent his body wherever he wanted, rather then bullet blasting off (wich wlso looks cool)
This guy's voice is so good to be honest,,,,imagine his voice being used for documentaries too....he could make his bank account smile more too👏👏👍
Smallville has the best take off and flying in Season 4 opener in my opinion. The build up, special effects and acting still holds up after 20 years.
The attention to detail is mind boggling...
Good work man.
This video is f**cking gold! Thank you for this!!❤❤❤
🙏
Great video❤
Absolutely amazing vid bro. I tip my hat the the effort put in this video. New Sub coming in lol.
Welcome to the channel 🙏
Criminally undersubscribed
Your thumbnail is the best 😂
Neo flying towards trinity should be #1!! It was just soooo dam epic! Also Thor flying away from the dragon was cool too
Jupiter Ascending has some great flying scenes.
This was an awesome video ❤
I’ve been waiting for dis
You forgot about the iconic flying skills of Ralph Hinkley in The Greatest American Hero.. Plus, the General Lee and KITT, both had awesome flying capabilities.
Man of Still Has the best Flight scenes Ever made.
oh that man of still, is still the best man.
People forgot Ikaris from eternals. How effortlessly he was flying as if gravity does not work at him.
Good you pointed this out...I actually enjoyed his scenes.
Yup it looks great.
Really Great video!! Perfect editing!!❤
🙏
I think "The Rocketeer" should've gotten a mention in this. That was the last pre-CGI film to use traditional flight effects and those shots hold up great.
Man of Steel has a bunch of faults, but it's hard to deny its superpower special effects were top tier.
Not gonna lie, the smallville first jump had people hyped, and then season 5 dropped and the first flight take off scene...am sure man steel took some inspiration from smallville
Before I even start the video. I think movies that show how diverse flight can be. Man of Steel showed the strength and power I took to get into the sky, Chronicle showed freedom and sense of wonder flying brings, Hancock (although he flew like a d--k) showed how nonchalant and simple it could look to be in the sky and I'd say Brightburn (although I'm not a big fan) it really showed how destructive it could be if someone didn't care. I know Zod (MOS) didn't care, but in Brightburn having someone inside of a small farm house at a scale we can understand, see something as fast a bullet slam through a wall, great visuals.
Did I really just see a 'hello wildcats' clip. Awesome
Been waiting to use that clip...
The first superhero come to anyone mind after hearing flying is Superman
love the hard work u did to get all these information for us thanks
Great idea for a clip 👍
l enjoyed this show, yes i subscribed and yes I'll be looking for the next show.
pls do a video about swinging in movies
MCU Vision has the best flight followed up by Iron Man in terms of physics. And then Brandon Routh’s Superman.
Disagree though, for me the Best fight is still from man of steel follow by ironman and matrix
What a joke
U are smart my brother
True...eternals just smoothed it out even More
wiring the boots is genius
smallville is a great show, but then you realize all the hurdles and constant budget cuts and yet it still looks amazing. best superhero show ever.
Heroes had the best flight especially the breaking of sound barrier
Im glad you used the 2021 cut @ 1:07
I couldn't look at that mouth anymore.
A friend and I saw Chronicle and it was awesome.
of Riddick? Yeah
Man of Steel have had the best flying scenes I've ever seen.
13.36 damn i felt that line 😅
This video needs more likes 👍
😂bro oversimplified it so good❤❤
Dude, you really put in the effort 👏
i Love your videos man
Appreciate you.
As a Spider-man fan, I would love to see a similar video on the CGI of web-swinging scenes with your Amazing commentary!!😁😁
A great video idea for another time. 👍
@@y.reviews OMG can't wait😍
Subscribed 👍🏻👍🏻

Man of Steel 🔥
super cool video mate :)
man i hope black adam will somehow return to the big screen, DC needs a new power house.
Superhero flying scene was peaked in Man of Steel.
Another Banger. Lets goo.
Damn Superman & Lois also has some pretty solid flying scenes.
I think the flight scenes in Superman The Movie look much better and more realistic than any of the modern films.
Dope thumbnail lol like flying race
🙏
