All time favourite for me as well from the days when I started listening Radio Ceylon broadcasts. KLS song was always nann integral part of the program "Purane Filmon Ke Sangeet" on RC broadcasts. Thank you old folks for wonderful tribute through listening.
Uth ke wo chal diye, Kahte hee rah gaye ham fasana , Haaye ,haaye ye Zalim zamana... My all time favourite song. Saigal sahab is always at his best whenever he sings.

Going through various discussions about who is great, I would say from 1954 till today, I have heard various singers,with Radio Ceylon at that time being main source. Every singer was
great in his period ,the main difference is that Saigal died at peak undefeated though Mohammed Rafi had to move out because of Kishore Kumar which does not mean that Rafi was no match to Kishore Kumar. Now with passage of time,tastes, likes and music styles have changed. But to be remembered after 72 years without anyone to promote him but still remembered that speaks volumes of greatness of Saigal.
