This was uploaded 8 yrs ago and no one has sung it better yet. She has done her home work perfectly. Absolutely in tune, excellent breath control, clear diction and a very melodious(a bit nasal) voice. Does not strain while singing. Many others have sung Saigal and some of them sound like Saigal too, but she has sung better than all of them. Hopefully she sounds better and has a more mature voice now, after 8 more years of 'Sadhana'. Would like to hear more of Saigal, if she can upload some recent performances.

Sangita ji closest to saigal this rendition is slightly fast like you observe damaan and you sing Daman well sung as during my days I ate drunk slept listening to the last syllable of this great master for this generation you are the best please don't get into the madness of this era you are a gem of this earth I on my part would like to contribute some way to sustain and preserve this talent and would appeal to all my fellow saigal lovers that the society needs to pay a price for such a person and we should do something meaningful for this wonderful lady till the last drop of her breath

For half an hour 7.30 to 8 every day in the morning Radio Ceylon, later Radio Sri Lanka, used to play Purani film sangeeth. Last song always was KLSaigalji's. I eagerly heard these songs while attending the morning chores in the house and readying for 40 minutes walk towards High School. Important numbers were Babul Mora, Ik Bangle bane nyara, Soja Rajakumari etc. He is super natural.
