    Funny thing as a Scouser of Irish extraction the whole joke was to send up the tropes and sterotypes that would offend but in reality ended up exposing the real xenophobes, that was the intelligence of humour 40 years or so ago, nowadays you'd offend a bee if you called it "two toned".

      The Peace Walls still stand in Belfast.
      Why can't we just live & let live conflict helps no one.
      I am Scottish but in Belfast on holiday head back tomorrow lunchtime.
