Just the video I needed to watch. 2014 Dodge Durango and build sheet says stained rear glass. I was just going to do the 2 fronts but I didn't think they would match the rears as they almost look brown in tint. So Im going 1 shade lighter than limo tint all the way around.
Ceramic Tint is the only way to go! We have it on our cars and in FL it is a must! Totally worth the reasonable difference in price between it and regular tint. I really don't understand even selling or using the regular stuff anymore, besides obviously, the factories cheaping out on you. Good video!
Well, after watching this video, i inquired how much it would cost to tint my new vehicle with ceramic tint. Now, mind you, my vehicle came from the factory with tinted glass on the rear windows. The quote i received for ceramic tint on all my windows minus my windshield was $700 dollars! Im in South Carolina, so im not in your area. Is this a normal price? I have a 2024 Ford Edge.
awesome vid.. im going to refer customers to this vid who think i am bs when i say factory tinted glass does nothing except make glass look darker.... What about factory tinted glass with uv rejection.. in my understanding some factory tint blocks some uv and some factory tint does not...

Where I'm from they never refer to it as a factory tint. It's simply called privacy glass

Than why does regular tent feel cooler? Than nothing in natural sunlight.
Id like to see this test done with the car running and the ac on. Im curious if that would cancel out the difference a bit.
AC was on in the shop keeping air temp at 75, the test is replicating the temperature you’d feel on your face or skin coming through the glass.
@@villinwraps Sorry, I meant the AC running in the car. It'd be interesting to see how cool moving air would affect the temps.
@@blackhawkvenom5724it will get cooler faster with the ceramic tint. Because ceramic tint is rejecting more UV light.

Yeah any form of shade is going to block some uv light
