Great top three tools! I would add a clear 12” x 1” ruler that quilters use (Omnigrid item 1c) and back it with clear Omnigrip so it doesn’t slip. Great for trimming stickers and washi tape!

I have a skinny classic and I wish I could find paper for it. Omg I just clicked on the link you provided for the scrapbook store. I am so happy I found budget pages!
I use stencils rather than stickers because they're cheap to buy, durable and reusable.

Great advice about knowing the size of the planner!! I bought my first HP in march in a convention. When I got back home I figured I had bought à mini and classic HP sticker book 😃

My tip: Get some color story books and colorful boxes books to start out with. I started out with a line it up stencil (for checklist boxes) and some stamps.

Thank you Heather, I am starting my first planner in July. Your tips and videos have been a great help and I am ready to go. ... I couldn't find a video of what the Happy planner has to offer (ie accessories) I had had to watch quite a bit of videos to figure out exactly what is available to new starters and I am hoping I finally have an idea of everything they offer) - if you looking at killing some time making a video, I would be interested in something like that. A list so to speak of what you get with a planner brand. be that Happy planner, EC or Plum paper planner. I'm not sue if there are any other planner brand these are the ones I could pick up through my searches.
Hi heather. I got my first MAMBI Planner in the mail only a day ago. I watched a lot of your videos before I decided on one, I am so happy I did. I love that you say just to go for it. A lot of other planner people say to work with pencil first, but I think that would stress me out so much!

Hi heather and all. What is your favorite dashboard planner starting in July? Debating classic or mini
The dashboard layout works best for me as a no frills, straight function planner, so it's great in mini for on-the-go scheduling. I started out the year with the Super Mom mini, and since it's working so well for me I'm sticking with it. So that's one vote for mini, but no help on which mini planners come in dashboard. :P
I just started with happy planner but most of what I have were from hobby lobby on their clearance sale. The first one I bought came from Walmart.

Not a planner babe but yes, metal discs move better. I personally think the plastic tul planner discs (Office Depot brand) move a little better than the happy planner plastic but metal are best of all.
How to flip a disc bound page is another factor- you’ll quickly get into the habit of sliding down from one corner to the other with your full fingers, not just a knuckle.

Are the discs in the planners the same length apart. Can I use mini half sheets in a classic planner?

Heather I have gone from designing my own. Too much. To a Panda planner. Stay at home house wife. Don’t need a panda planner. Had a classic big happy planner. Bought a few little reccollection. Planners. Undecided. Expensive. Best Buy ar TJMax. Trade name Fringe. Horizontal plAnner. I like horizontal but difficult to do a spread. I use color pens
Do you have a video that teaches you how to use the exacto knife / safety ? I have that finger one and the blade is loose. Also how to know when to change the blade.

Hi I want a mini planner I got a lot of American Girl doll stickers and other stickers and supplies to use I coupon,save money for Christmas gifts for my family,I go to doctors aloe and get my IV every 3 weeks and I love to film UA-cam videos,do crafts,go to bible study and spend time with my family when ever I fill up ttoo it and help out around the house when I'm up to it

Omg 😯 I had that happen to me too a couple yrs back. When I went to the er I lied and said it happened in a science lab at school.

Lol I told the er I was cutting washi and they were like huh?? I said I was crafting at my desk n it fell in my lap and they said ohhh ok. Yikes
What do you do when your 18 month ends in December???
You can get a new one that starts in January
For example: the 18month planners that start July 01, 2019 end December 31, 2020 (usually the classic size). They come in 12 month also that run from January to December. If you follow The Happy Planner you tube channel , they usually do a flip thru for all of the planners in a release as well as many other you tube channels. Heather does great explaining this if you check her other videos. There are options for everyone. Best of luck with your search.

Maybe you should do a video about why to bother. Planning is expensive and serves as barely useful art that you put into a drawer and never look at again.
