Loved seeing all the different styles of lettering you use in your planner & how you make the letters. The only possible example I could think that you didn't mention was when trying to "center" a word in a space, try to start with the centermost letter and work your way out in both directions. For example...Centering the word "Weekend"...start with the "k" and then let that help you determine the spacing between each letter. If that makes sense. Great video...TFS!!!

Thank you so much! I’m in search of my style in the planning. I already know that I don’t like my cursive in my planner pages, despite thinking my cursive is really beautiful. I just don’t like it. I think it becomes busy. So I’m following what you say and changing it up. For somethings I do use cursive, another ones I do brush lettering, that I’m finally getting good at (2 years of practice when I can😂) and know I’m experimenting other fonts like the ones you showed here. Without serif (the tails kkk), with serif, and the other many different ways. I’m having fun learning to write all those fun fonts. It’s taking time because due to my diseases I feel pain all the time so I can’t write for long times and I don’t have the firmness to write sometimes a perfect letter. It gets shacky, but I’m a persevering person. Won’t give up. Thank you for your videos. I wish you a week full of love! 😘
So I’m first going to buy more pens/writing utensils!! Lol but this is so cool. I’m hoping to do this soon in a future spread. I also bought a calligraphy book to practice in... now I’m excited! 😆😆
Thanks for doing that, you've given me some ideas. I do want to learn the "bouncy" and next month, I'm signed up for a calligraphy class. I've always loved that and dabbled in it. So bouncy would be fun to do too.
I haven’t tried to do any lettering yet in my spreads, other than regular handwriting. I want to branch out and try some different techniques, but I’ve been scared I’m going to screw it up. Thanks for sharing this with us I really need to just let go and try it.
I write in all caps 99% of the time. Even when I take notes.. unless I’m REALLY in a hurry. My dad used to write like that and I think I just picked it up. Makes it look neater which my writing is already pretty bad so I need all the help I can get.

I love using a tombow dual brush pen for different fonts but not the brush side. Too difficult. A tombow fudenosuke is great for beginner brush lettering
